  1. I don't think Peyton would ever live it down if he lost to the Pats next week, should the matchup come about.
  2. That's Fahrenheit, actually.
  3. Hotness. My God. I can't believe Jim Neidhart had a hand in making that.
  4. I can't believe the Colts are a New England victory away from FINALLY getting the Pats at home in the playoffs. I never would have expected that matchup this season.
  5. Okay, my justification for the above: HBK - Multiple well-documented refusals to drop title belts. Sometimes unprofessional in the ring (look at Montresor's avatar!). HTM - Threatened to quit the WWF while still IC champion rather than drop the IC title to Randy Savage in 1988. I remember hearing something similar from when he was in WCW. Warrior - If the DVD is to be believed, held Vince up for money before the Summerslam 91 main event. HHH - The Booker T incident, for starters. Hogan - OK, thinking about it, I'll take him off, because the guys who've brought him in are more at fault for giving him complete creative control in the first place.
  6. Well, there's cold and then there's COLD. Up here, 32 is nice balmy weather. I don't start not noticing different degrees of cold until it gets down to about 0. Anything under 0 is cold. I remember last year it got down to -50 here. Believe me, you'd notice the difference between 32 and -50.

  8. Awesome. I cheered for the Saints when I was a kid (back in the Bobby Hebert-Ironhead Heyward days), and I still have a soft spot for them. They deserve it after all the crap they've gone through since coming into the league.
  9. And speaking of Macho Man, I can't believe I found this forgotten gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhoCLtEd9PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn7MnXFhM6s&NR Savage/Steamboat IC title match from late 1986. What there was was every bit as good as the WMIII classic, plus the famous ending where Savage crushed Steamboat's throat with the ring bell. And two matches between Savage and Tito Santana for Tito's IC title, both from the Boston Garden, both joined in progress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFB_qG5y23A The second one was Savage's IC title win, where he nailed Tito with the brass knucks on a belly-to-back suplex.
  10. I'd say they're not thinking about a FG, they want to run the clock right out.
  11. I believe that's correct. Rookies and sophomores only, like the NBA does on all-star weekend.
  12. If WWE ever released a Macho Man DVD, I'd have it the instant it hit the stores.
  13. That was one of the best two-yard runs you'll ever see.
  14. I have no idea who this is. Then, enjoy the greatest promo of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_1Z9Dj6tdw His forehead is disgusting. Yeah, I think only Abdullah the Butcher's was worse. Wasn't he the Master of the Dungeon of Doom?
  15. That made no sense. Why wouldn't you just kneel down instead of handing it off and risking a fumble?
  16. Terrible mistake there by Manning. You just can't miss someone that wide open.
  17. Ohhhhhhhhh. McNair almost gave the Colts another gift.
  18. Colts need 22 in the second half. I'm not optimistic.
  19. Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that. Vinatieri puts it off the crossbar and in.
  20. What a horrible penalty by Baltimore.
  21. That's inexcusable.
  22. This is why the Colts needed a TD after the turnover. They can't let the Ravens stay close, because the defence will come up with plays like that.
  23. Damn, they needed a TD on this possession.
  24. Macho Lifestyles (from 1986) This is one of the best segments I've ever seen. Macho Man was the king of the 80s.
  25. I'm watching the Montreal-Ottawa game right now. I don't think I've seen Montreal look this bad defensively in a long time. Huet gave up 4 goals on 20 shots and didn't have a chance on any of them.
