Fixed. Francis works just as well, if not better.

Geez, how did Danny Gans get this popular?

Gonzaga's leading rebounder and second-leading scorer was indefinitely suspended after being arrested for drug possession. Looks like we don't need to worry about them making any noise in the tournament this year (not that they would have anyway).

Is this going to be a tournament-type deal, or a full-season league with playoffs?

That's even more enticing than the WM box set was.

Quite far. About a five hour drive each way. The pueblos north of Santa Fe can be interesting, if you're into native culture. Really, though, there's not much to do at all.
-
Damn, that was my pick. If I can take teams from strike-shortened years, I'll pick the '94 Expos. If not...give me the '86 Mets.

Good. Now get him to go after the NFL and Sunday Ticket and everything will be hunky-dory.

Any interest in my next top 50 list ?

Also off the Halifax Raw where HBK is announced as the Summerslam guest ref, Bret and Vince's hockey fight and the show-ending flag match. The Angle/Austin/Vince segments from whichever show where they all had cowboy hats. HHH/HBK from December 2005. HHH/Taka from 2000. And, of course, Jericho winning the title the very next week. -
Well, there's only a week to go before they start beating spring training stories to death.

So THAT'S what MLB came up with to keep Bonds from breaking the HR record.

The picture on the front more than makes up for the stupid made up word. Agreed there. The barbed wire is a nice touch. Though, a generic body on the table would have made it a little better. I was just thinking that. It looks like he's attacking a defenseless table there.

They were doing the mask switch when I started watching in early 1986. They would never wear the masks to start the match, but they would put the masks on during the match to do the switch. I still find it odd that a face team had that gimmick, since it's more of a heel thing to do. I remember it drove Jesse nuts on commentary.

Yeah, he died 5 months ago apperantly. That was her 20-year-old son. She just had a daughter 5 months ago as well.

She passed away so young...39, in fact, which means triple points for everyone. Updated Standings - February 8, 2007 140 - Toshiaki Koala 90 - Cuban Linx, dh86, King Kamala Classic, MillenniumMan831, vivalaultra 50 - Timmy8271, Will Scarlet

It could've been worse, I suppose. They could've hired Norv Turner.
-
That would be pretty silly, considering two of the 11 wins in Byron Nelson's streak were in match-play tournaments.

We're at the point in the NHL season where I start to get really tired of the regular season. Montreal and Ottawa play a home-and-home starting tonight, in what seems like the 32nd and 33rd games of the season against each other.

How would we determine best available? There aren't any complete lists out.

They're holding a press conference today to announce that the International is indeed gone, thanks to lack of sponsorship. I'm interested to see what they get to fill the gap, since they have to have a tournament that week. I think anyone who thinks that Tiger is skipping the Nissan to protect his streak is fooling himself. The Match Play is just as tough to win, if not tougher. And the Match Play WILL count because it's a PGA Tour event. Pebble Beach is a prime example of why I love the fact that The Golf Channel has taken over early-round coverage of all tournaments. Before, I might get to watch an hour or two of the early rounds if I was lucky. Now, with TGC repeating their coverage, I can watch 5-6 hours. Pebble is easily my favourite golf course.

Wade Phillips is the new Cowboys coach. As someone who's a fan of a team Wade Phillips once coached, let me just say.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

What the fuck? SNOW in southern California?
CanadianChris replied to Matt Young's topic in General Chat
We had a day of -40 yesterday. I went outside to catch a taxi from work, and it felt like the wind was actually attacking me. It was a painful walk.
