Currently in ESPN.com's Headlines section... Would someone please enlighten me on why a 4-2 team beating a 2-4 team at home is so shocking? It's not like there was a huge comeback during the game, either -- Pittsburgh never led by more than 10 points.

Florida State lost, 31-24. But Notre Dame went on to lose to Boston College the following week and dropped to #3, which led to the FSU/Nebraska game in the Orange Bowl.

It's happened several times. It happened this season, even (OSU vs. Texas). The one I remember most is Florida State vs. Notre Dame in 1993. Then there's the Game of the Century in 1971 (#1 Nebraska vs. #2 Oklahoma), which would be most comparable to a Michigan/OSU 1 vs 2 matchup.

Hard to say. I think they need to stick with Plummer right now, and that's from someone who was praying for Cutler to start as recently as three weeks ago. If they were 3-3 instead of 5-1, different story, but I think they're better off with a veteran at QB as long as they have a shot at a top seed in the AFC. Hopefully, they can keep Plummer playing like Trent Dilfer while the defence makes like the 2000 Ravens. Plus, I don't think Cutler is any more likely than Plummer to beat the teams they have to play next month.

I hope you aren't banking on me winning and knocking Alf down. I'm now doubting my Dallas pick. I'd rather you had the Giants and alf had Dallas, yes. But I'll take what I can get.

Yes, I am, especially with potentially high-powered offences coming up in Indy, Cincy and San Diego (twice). I think it's too much to ask for the defence to hold those teams to 10 points or less. Hopefully, Denver is just doing enough to win right now, given they're playing really bad teams, and they can throw a few big plays in the next few weeks. That's a pretty dangerous game to play. Or, maybe the defence CAN hold anyone they want under 10 points, who knows. But yes, I'm a bit worried right now.

Whatever, they're a game up in the AFC West now. They can win every game 10-6 between now and Miami if that's what it takes.

Phew, Broncos held on at the end. 3-3, hopefully one game back if Dallas covers tomorrow. And I knocked off the last unbeaten team in the process.
