Tennessee is so horrible that even Daunte Culpepper should be able to beat them. They were also the only double-digit home favourite. Everyone had them as the best pick this week.

I don't think you can put it on not caring. They may not care as much as the Euros -- and really, who could? -- but they care. They just got outplayed, plain and simple. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find 12 guys who could have beaten Europe this week, they way they played and especially the way they putted.

I follow Syracuse. They're bad, very bad. Easily the worst team in the Big East. They beat Illinois and Miami (OH), both miserable teams, and caught Iowa on their worst day imaginable and still couldn't beat them. I don't see them beating Cincinnati on the road, and I don't see them beating Wyoming. They might beat UConn, but I'm skeptical even of that. 3-9 is likely, 2-10 would be unsurprising, 4-8 is quite optimistic. 5-7 is a fantasy.

I-AA update: It wasn't a marquee I-A name, but North Dakota State upset Ball State 19-14. What a great year for the school, with the shocker over Wisconsin in basketball at the start of the year to go with this win.
