Ah gotcha, you're right I misunderstood. Yeah I agree with that, seems like the only way to really determine who got the ball - first guy to have possession probably never (I'd say less than 10% of the time) ends up with it. Seeing as how being on the ground, with possession, being touched by an opposing player would be considered down and the play dead.

This is true, but having a RB of Williams' caliber allowed Fiedler to be an average QB and still do enough to not lose. It's really a mix of everything stated that has caused Miami to be so terrible this year. No running back at all, poor QBs, and an awful 0-line have all contributed to this year's woes.

The comparison just isn't valid really. Ward/Burress is one of the best WR combos in the NFL Hilliard/Toomer, while decent, are both past their prime as WRs - certainly not at the level of Ward/Burress. For all their recent offensive line troubles, the Steelers O-line has really played fairly well this year. Meanwhile the G-Men O-line is just slightly above college D1-AA level. Just horrid.

I disagree, I think it's completely stupid that 5-6 people can jump on top of the pile the way they do. I have always felt that what should happen in a pile up is this: The ref walks up, taps a guy on the shoulder - that guy then gets off the pile. If not, bam 5 yard penalty. Next guy... tap, gone. The random pulling and shit is out of control, and it never ceases to amaze me when they call possession of the ball before getting to the bottom of the pile. (the only exception would be the rare ref who is willing to jump on and dig into the pile to determine possession himself) Oh and this is coming from someone who, in high school football, made a name for himself by jumping on piles and giving kidney punches, charlie horses, cup checks, etc..

Heh, I was joking, but in all seriousness I know a lot of people who DO feel this way. My main problem with soccer, other than the boring pace/lack of scoring, is that all of the players seem like prissy little bitches. EVERY TIME they get bumped, regardless of the amount of contact, they fall down like they just got Bertuzzied. It's pathetic and sad. GET THE FUCK UP YOU LITTLE BITCH! Then, after two minutes of rolling around like their leg just got amputated, they are up to run and "head" the ball into the goal - followed by 5 minutes of running around screaming and yelling like they just won the world cup (no matter what the situation of the game is).

It will be interesting to see how different his game is if this trade goes through. He was doing nothing but sulking, basically doing everything he could to get traded. I would expect to see a vast improvement in his game with Kidd and Jefferson there to take the pressure off of him.

Harrington's the drizzling shits. IMO, the Lions need to get a good free agent QB this off-season. I don't think they should draft a QB, because in this day and age of football, it takes to long to groom someone at this position. The Lions have a talented RB, and receivers. Now all they need is a solid QB. They should probably do both, grab a solid free agent for the short term and draft someone to groom. Get rid of Harrington and McMahon as they both are bad, very very bad.

Complete bust imo... Harrington is simply not an NFL caliber QB. Time to draft another Andre Ware and start over. Man it sucks being a Lions fan sometimes.

I was quite disappointed that Keanu didn't say "Whoa" in the trailer, actually. Regardless, I never thought that Hellblazer would translate well to the big screen. Forgot about Sin City. Thought that was coming out in 06 for some reason... My problem with the movie is when they said that they were going to stay true to the comic, but he will be from California, with black hair, and use a shotgun... wtf?
