  1. I used to think that those two were great too, but this year I drafted Matt Hasselbeck as my fantasy QB and watched a lot of Seattle games. The thing is, they are athletic, run great routes, and make things happen after the catch. BUT THEY CATCH ONE IN FUCKING 4 PASSES THROWN THEIR WAY. It's sad really, but Robinson/Jackson are simply not NFL caliber receivers. Really though the blame for Seattle's terrible season falls on the defense. They couldn't stop a faucet with one hand on the spigot. They have what? two good players on defense (Trufant and Wistrom). I see Holmgren getting fired for sure. Hell if Miami doesn't get Saban I would love for them to wait and see what happens there in Seattle...
  2. This would totally fit Saban's pattern of jumping while the jumping's good. He did the same to MSU, saw that there was not much higher to go with them and jumped to LSU, now I wonder if he sees the same thing there and is ready. God I hope so, hard to say if he can fix the years of bungling that Wannastasch heaped on my beloved Dolphins...
  3. Saw an add for an Apprentice type Reality show with interior decorators. Talk about bad...
  4. Perhaps someone forget to mention to the ACLU that the daugher, aged 14 was dating a 22 YEAR OLD! What the hell? Last I checked (although I don't know for sure what the legal age of consent is in Washington) that's not right. If the mom is saying that "she was sort of out of control" then I would guess that the two were having sex... So the ACLU is in effect saying that the mother had no right to know if her underage daughter was having sex with a 22 year old? Yeah fuck that.
  5. Everyone deserves a second chance.
  6. WWII POW's and Holocaust victims would love that idea. Oddly enough no one asked for their opinion.
  7. Well I just checked Amazon.com, it's listed there for only $31.96.
  8. To avoid the high cost of the death penalty I think we should use my brother's idea: Prisoner scheduled to die grabs a shovel, goes out into the desert, starts digging. When the hole is deep enough, prisoner #2 (also on death row) standing behind him smashes his head in with a lead pipe. #2 then fills in the hole. Problem solved. Either that or bring back gladiator games.
  9. Met Magic Johnson a while back, he's every bit as good a person as reputed to be. Tom Izzo's wife Lupe used to work for my dad, have talked to them a number of times. Wonderful people. Anyone remember Mike Peplowski (spelling destroyed)? I used to deliver Piazza to him a couple years ago. Easily the biggest man I have ever seen. Biggest tipper too.
  10. I'm not sure who that other signature is, but I promise to study the picture until I figure it out.
  11. Wow, that is an ultra bull story right there. Yeah that's some serious bullshit. I'm sure he was joking around, like friends do.. That uppity bitch thought he was hitting on her and went all psycho. HE EVEN APOLOGIZED TO KOBE IF SHE TOOK OFFENSE. That should have been the end of it. But noooooo someone has to act all drama queen about it and get "upset". I know that if I had that EXACT same conversation with any of my friend's wives not only would the women go along with it, but my friends would laugh too. What a joke...
  12. The scene where Ralphie beats the fuck out of the bully (can't remember his name atm) can not be topped. I laugh hysterically every year.
  13. No one said Bonds isn't a great baseball player. Maybe without the 'roids he would be hitting 30-40 HRs a year instead. That's still pretty damn good for a 40 something year old man...
  14. Please tell me at least one Pacer is going to hire Johnny Cochran?!
  15. Add another voice to the A Christmas Story love. There is no better Christmas movie imo.
  16. Whats the difference between Record of the Year and Album of the Year?
  17. Michigan Stadium is a shithole. 120,000 people crammed into 90,000 seats. I went to one game there, never again.
  18. Meyer said in an interview the other day that ND never contacted him, never offered him a contract, nothing. Wow.
  19. Since MSU stunk it up this year I won't be watching any bowl games. Maybe the championship, but probably not. I just don't give a shit about the Viagra presents the Citibank Holiday Bowl. If there were a playoff system, of any kind, I would probably watch the whole thing. I think that the major reason that there is no playoff has nothing to do with fairness as far as who gets in or is left out. The whole point is $$. I also think that a playoff would generate a ton of money as people like me would actually watch those games because they would matter as opposed to 27 of the 28 bowls now.
  20. I didn't say the three best, I said three OF the best. Which they are.
  21. Yeah I often look at their roster and wonder how they are so good, but if you watch them play they A) Mesh very well, playing as a team and B) Don't make many mistakes.
  22. Yeah I know you know who he is. Granted he isn't TO, Moss or Harrison, but considering the fact that McNair is always hurting - leading to sporadic QB play, and that the Titans are basically a run-first offense, that's not bad numbers. Put Mason on a team with consistent QB production and watch his numbers soar. -also edit - No one is TO, Moss or Harrison. It's really hard to compare someone to three of the best WRs off all time (who all happen to be playing during the same time period)...
  23. 2004: 70 catches 833 yards 11.9 ypc 5 TDs (through 11 games) 2003: 95 catches 1303 yards 13.7 ypc 8 TDs 2002: 79 catches 1012 yards 12.8 ypc 5 TDs 2001: 73 catches 1128 yards 15.5 ypc 9 TDs That's who. -edit- added 2004 stats
