I saw the set list for the Metallica game a week or so ago. It looks great; much better than GH: Aerosmith. But as much as I love Metallica, their songs give me fits on Rock Band and GH. I still can't beat "One" on Hard on GH3, or "Battery" on Rock Band 2. Sandman's easy. I barely scarpe by their DLC on Rock Band. I'm not sure I could play this game on a difficulty higher than medium and make it more than halfway through.

Apparently, DirecTV had a free preview of NBA League Pass from January 19-25. Tonight during the Lakers game was the first I have heard of it... 2 days after the offer ended. Speaking of the Lakers, they've cut the deficit but are still down 49-48 to the Bobcats at halftime. I had no idea Juwan Howard played for Charlotte until tonight.

I guess technically (especially for Mania, which always has cross brand matches) someone from Raw or SD could challenge him.

So who does ECW have that's a face who can challenge Jack Swagger? Finlay? Dreamer has been getting shots at house shows and will obviously get one on TV at some point due to the current angel they're running, but those 2 are the only face challengers Swagger has. All the other decent ECW guys are heels.

Seeking achievements, I played my first random last night in a ranked game. He was a pretty cool guy, a fellow wrestling fan from NorCal, so we had a nice Warriors vs. Lakers (me) battle. I blew a 10 point lead, and we traded 1 point advantages in the final 2 minutes. With Kobe mobbed upon receiving the inbound pass, I drained a baby hook with Gasol with 2.6on the clock. I got a block with Bynum as time expired to win 83-82. Epic. Good to know one can still find good people and players in ranked/random matches, and I got 2 achievements- One Ranked Win and Team 2K, both of which you guys all probably already have.

Is that Marc Mero in your sig? Huge win for the Lakers today, as they win 99-85 over the Spurs. When you throw in their big win over Cleveland- and before anyone says Cleveland had players hurt, so did LA- they are definitely the best team in the league right now.

I've had to input the 3rd jersey code 3 times now. For some reason, it randomly seems to become undone. Grr.

Time for Spurs at Lakers. If it's anything like their last game, we're in for a treat.
