I liked those matches last year, but ofcourse we all know that the guys in the EC match will win regardless.

I'm saying that if people choose to not drink or smoke and label themselves as straight edge, great. But they don't need to tell me I'm a bad person and that they're better than me because I smoke and drink. I respect their life choices, even though I don't live the same way, so they should respect mine, even if they don't agree with the acts themselves.

I know that... but it seems that it has just recently become a trend to beall elitist and throw straight edge-ness in people's faces. And I know not all sXe's are dickheads, but I've encountered a lot who are.

I respect the people who serve in the military, and a lot of my friends from high school serve in various branches (the majority being in the Marines) but I have a lot of problems with the actions that the military has taken as a whole, and the recruiters I've dealt with have been corrupt and openly encouraged me to lie on my application so that I could get in. Also, their attitude that they're better than civilians because they're in the military turned me off.

It's a trend. People who don't smoke, drink, or do drugs are fine with me. But when they come up with a term for it and throw it in people's faces as a reason that they're "better" than everyone else, they've crossed the line from "respectable" into "they can go fuck themselves" territory.

Daffney Traci Brooks Maria I read on the TNA wrestling forum that CM Punk was screwing Mickie James/Alexis Laree while he was still dating Traci, which could have led to their break-up earlier this year. I'm not really sure if Mickie James counts yet until proven. BTW, does anyone else think Edge and CM Punk are in competition against each other to see how many women they'll fuck in their lifetime? See, I can't eatwhile drinking. It makes it hard to hold the food down (if I eat more than a tiny bit) and kills the buzz. I almost always drink on an empty stomach... But today, I'm going to be consuming Christmas dinner along with champagne, peppermint schnapps, and maybe some of my friend Lisa's Seagrams gin. I'm going to try to maintain a strong buzzallday long without getting totally drunk.

Taking Back Sunday is really good (even live; I was almost suffocate/trampled during theirWarped Tour set in 2004), and the others have at least one good song each.

I haven't played Dragon Quest VIII, but it has received stellar reviews. If I didn't have so many backlogged games, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Supposedly, if you like old school RPGs, you'll love that game. There's a thread about it here, too.

I just got Star Ocean: Til The End of Time, and it has an extra DVD with special content as well as a couple new playable characters and such.

GR's pretty generous with their trade in credit. But even if I don't profit much, I'll probably get more than I paid for it. Hell, I traded in Psychonauts (Xbox) with no case a month ago toward my PS2 system, and I got $27 credit for it, when it was going for $30 new everywhere.

I just got back. As expected, most games I wanted were sold out, but I managed to snag the following: Doom 3 (Xbox) Star Ocean w/bonus DVD (PS2) Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox) Pariah (Xbox) I plan to trade in Pariah at Gamerush... Since it goes for $40-50 new at most places, I hope to get a decent amount of credit to put toward Animal Crossing: Wild World if my fiancee doesn't get it for me (which she will if it's not out of stock). If she gets me that, I'll use the credit toward a PS2 game, since I now have a grand total of 2, hehe. But hey, I still have yet to even open Burnout Revenge, X-Men Legends Part Deux, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes from TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale, so it's not like I needed anymore games.
