  1. You and me both. Since Franz Ferdinand was mentioned, I hated "Take Me Out" but ended up loving "Do You Want To" (especially the video) and now, when playing Burnout 3 and hearing the song, I enjoy "Take Me Out". I don't know about the rest of their material, but I don't loathe the band anymore. As Czech knows, I don't get Radiohead at all.
  2. My Prince-obsessed pal, Anton:
  3. If I ignored everyone who annoyed me or didn't like me, I wouldn't have very many posts to read.
  4. Adding to what I said earlier, after seeing some of the responses here... I can see why some people would be offended, most definitely. And yes, it was pointless in the long run. However, I still thought it was pretty damn funny.
  5. I hate when such terminology is used with malicious intent, but that shit was hilarious. I was drunk and certainly didn't expect it, so I busted out laughing. But even seeing it again while sober, it was pretty damn funny.
  6. As is common with wrestlers' books, the most interesting stuff is what is written about his training/indy experience. However, a lot of the other stuff was very entertaining also.
  7. Hopefully he can make another comebackas Frozen Block of Piss Reborn.
  8. Height: 5'8" Weight: 125.5 pounds following Thanksgiving dinner.
  9. 32nd and 46th for me.
  10. He's an uppity negro. But seriously, I've been wanting some answers myself. The dude got wins over HHH and a long (albeit unmemorable) reign as IC champion, but now he rarely even makes Raw. He should have been ELEVATED after dropping the belt, not demoted.
  11. Scroby, I'd have to skim back over certain parts to answer that. I of course remember the book, but no exact quotes. My brain's still recovering from jet lag. Deon, in regards to losing his smile, Shawn actually mentioned something along the lines of his mother noticing that he was beaten and worn down and saying that he never seemed happy anymore, and that he had lost his smile. I'll look up the exact quote in a little while.
  12. Out of 7 people in my row on the flight from Los Angeles to Chicago last Tuesday, 4 of us had DS systems with Mario Kart. We played all 32 courses against each other, and it fucking rocked.
  13. Not really, but it only spans maybe the last 30 pages of the book. It's like 335 or so pages in total, about 40 of which are just one big pictureor mostly a picture with a few sentences.
  14. I picked up HBK's autobiography earlier today after learning last night that it had been released. I read it all the way through on the plane ride from Chicago to L.A. It cost me $28 after taxes (ouch!)but it was worth it. It was probably my favorite non-Foley WWE book, although I haven't read Flair's. I've always been a Bret Hart fanaticand hated Michaels as a person, but I love his ring work, and I can now say that I thoroughly enjoyed his book. Has anyone else read it?
  15. I was gonna say, even though they may not have had that belt on Shopzone, Highspots has been selling it. A friend of mine owns one.
  16. I picked up MKDS on Monday night. I'm loving it so far. The new tracks are pretty good, and it's nice to see tracks from the SNES, N64, GBA, and GameCube installments, some for the first time in 3D. I'm an owner of all the previous installments in the series (except GBA), but this may become my favorite. The best thing about it is the multiplayer connectivity. I haven't even tried wireless online play yet, but I played multiplayer (one cart only) with my cousin, and even better: I flew from LA to Chicago Tuesday night. Out of 7 people in my row on the plane, myself included, 4 of us had DS systems with Mario Kart. We played all 8 cups- 32 races- and loved every minute of it. It was competitive til the end. If you own a DS, you need this game. If you don't own one, but are a Mario Kart fan, buy a DS now.
  17. I figured I was the only on here interested in this game. I love music and music games, and I play the guitar, so naturally this is something I want. I'm just not sure I want to pay $70 for it.
  18. LMAO! I was trying to see if I could find that thing, but I have no idea where I hosted it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh... I'm sure someone here ended up saving it at some point, although they'll likely never admit to it.
  19. SweetNSexyDiva... I haven't seen you in well over a year. Welcome back. Also, that is a lot of ass in those pictures. That almost reminds me of SNSD's cleavage avatar.

Wait... almost killed a guy? Imust have missed that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In simple terms... sometimes bps drinks too much whiskey. sometimes assholes step out of line. sometimes assholes need their faces kicked in and to be left for dead in the snow. Thankfully...he lived. And just as thankfully I got a good lawyer who made my case such a mess that they got their conviction...and I don't go to jail. Cause God knows I couldn't stand to miss all the great WWE programming. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As long as alcohol is involved, that makes everything all right. Matt Fact: Matt is hung over.
  21. I have come to a conclusion. Black Lushus is quality. </no one cares what I think>

  23. Maybe just a one night deal then?
  24. *Looks at cover of Madden 06* Yep, there's a curse.
  25. I was just thinking random thoughts about WWE. I was thinking of how I'd like to see Chris Jericho on Smackdown to wrestle Juventud... then it dawned on me. Smackdown's World Champ, Batista, is out, and all signs point to Randy Orton (also recently added to the Survivor Series team) taking the title off him. However, since Batista will obviously be writtenout of the SS match and SD could use another good worker, is there any chance that Jericho could make a comeback? He'd be an awesome surprise replacement for Batista and could help fill some of the void left by Smackdown losing its 2 biggest faces.
