The errors ("Shavo", 3 time champ, Shakedown, Thursday night) were annoying, but overall, the presentation was pretty well done.

Fuck... Gamerush still hasn't received the game, so my preordered copy is not yet in my hands.

Same here, man... Same here.

Video Games that make you think of Eddie Guerrero
Matt Young replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Video Games
Okay, so that post was funny. -
That's what I thought at first, but I'm not sure since management is supposedly pissed at him.

Anyone Know Where I Can Download Tonight's Raw?
Matt Young replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Luis, I got all but the first minute of the show on tape. It's at the lowest recording quality since my VCR is stuck on that til I find the remote, but I can at least let you borrow the tape or we could just watch it together. -
I always wanted Nunzio to win the belt (although I would have liked for Juvi to hold on to it longer) but it sucks that his 2 title wins were on Velocity and a house show, and he has never defended the belt on Smackdown.

Of course it's a joke thread. They're all joke threads... It's just that none of them are funny. -
I traded in 6 games at GR for a PlayStation 2 and a preorder on Smackdown vs. Raw 2006. I have $5 credit left, and due to recent expenses, I have precious little cash to spare. What's the cheapest PS2 memory card? All the ones I've seen are $20-25, but they must have a cheap version like every other system does.

Anyone think we should start a new thread since the game was just released and this one's nearing 1,000 posts? Anyway, I preordered at GameRush. They said that all the new releases that come out today would arrive on the 18th (Friday) but they've said similar things before and the games arrived within one day of their release dates. I expect to *finally* get a PS2 and have the game by tomorrow.

I just read a mention in another topic of someone perceiving every poster to be the same in real life as their avatars are here. Then I saw Inc's avatar. Hmm. And no, that's not an attempted insult, just an observation.

The Smoking Gun has Eddie's mug shot on the main page. Assholes.

Shit, I could have sworn I posted my picks early.

I could be wrong, but I doubt that he does things like that, nor do I think that any of us could afford whatever price he would ask if he was available.

That's beautiful, Luis. My sentiments exactly. That's pretty much how I explained the situation to Melissa and to my mom when they asked why I was so down, why I had been crying. I've met many wrestlers, as I know you have, but never had the pleasure of meeting Eddie. Still, I feel like I knew him, from the countless years of watching him, to shoot interviews, to his DVD. A lot of the wrestlers who have died weren't favorites ofmine, but their deaths still hurt. Eddie, however, was one of the greatest and his loss hurts the most, up there with Owen's.

I woke up today and signed on to MySpace, first thing. I noticed a bulletin from my friend Rachael stating that a WWE wrestler had died. I figured it was a joke just like so many other bulletins... but sadly, it was not. The official WWE.com headline confirmed that one of my favorite wrestlers, Eddie Guerrero, had passed away in Minneapolis at the age of 38. I haven't been this shaken up about a wrestler's death since Owen Hart died on May 23, 1999. I'm not sure which has affectedme more, either. With Owen, I was watching the pay per view where he fell from the rafters. I had some time, if only an hour, to prepare for his death, but I still cried some. In regards to Eddie, however, I never saw it coming and I have been crying for the better part of an hour. As a wrestling fan of 14 years, watching every week, I've grown very attached to a lot of these guys. I have been around the business somewhat (although I'm certainly not claiming to be a part of it in any way) and I know people who wrestle professionally and itis their passion. Non-fans will say all sorts of things discrediting the profession, but it's a big part of my life and I have a tremendous amount of respect for those who wrestle for a living. Eddie was a guy I always looked up to since I first saw him, when I began watching WCW in 1997. Not only was he greatly entertaining and an amazing performer in the ring, but at 5'8", he was the same height as me and showed me that a guy my size could make it in a big man's business. More importantly than that, however, by all accounts, he was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, friend, etc. Aside from the similarities in size that I could relate to, Eddie had a history of drug and alcohol abuse. This was something I could relate to, because I have had similar problems, although not nearly on the level that he did. I've had serious issues with alcohol and painkillers before. Eddie was a role model in that he was able to overcome his problems, even after losing his job and his wife, and was able to get all that back, become more successful than ever, and remain sober for the last 4 years. Forgive me if this isn't as coherent as I'd like, but I'm still pretty upset. I can't even begin to imagine how his family and friends feel. Thank you so much, Eddie, for all the hard work and sacrifices you made in order to entertain us, the fans. We'll miss you dearly.

That shouldn't have made me laugh, but it did. Very much so.

Animal Crossing and Tales of Symphonia are 2 of the best games... of all time. $20 each new. I don't see how Double Dash could let anyone down. It's a great game, even solo, and the best in the Mario Kart series.

I might as well pick one up. My mom and stepdad have a nice Kodak digicam that I can use, but they won't let it leave the house unless it's in their possession. If this camera is $4o at Walgreens, that's cheap enough, and I can get the 15% employee discount on top of that.

Answer: Remain citizen, let others fight for shit I don't care about. Don't get me wrong- If that's what they desire, I can respect that, but you'd never catch me in the military. The one and only reason I ever considered joining was for college money, and the crooked ass recruiters encouraged me to falsify information so I could get in. I wasn't about to trust most of the "good things" they told me about the military life. But seriously, this is getting way off topic, so yeah.

I mentioned the gimmick because I had chosen not to do it. I can't help it if my cat wants to register her own account. She helps to pay the internet bill. Plus she has claws and can shit anywhere on command.
