Who is going to stop watching raw when mnf starts
Matt Young replied to slabinskia's topic in The WWE Folder
Huh? I live in southern California, and Raw comes on at 6 PM Pacific. -
I got a Gizmondo t-shirt at E3. They had hot booth babes... That's all I can say for them. Oh wait, they did have a game where rockers attacked their enemies with their musical abilities, and one where you'd just run around a city and... that's it. Yeah.

Credit: CheapAssGamer I wanted to pass this deal along to those who could use it. Each store has a minimum of 225 systems, and they are at this price today and tomorrow. I've been wanting a PS2 for a while now, but there are no Meijers in California, so a price match is out of the question. If someone could pick one up for me, I'll pay you via PayPal or your preferred method and even throw in some E3 swag or something to make it worth your while. My birthday is Saturday... anyone feel like doing a good deed for a fellow TSMer? Please?

Simpsons Season 6 DVD Set Complaint
Matt Young replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
They're on EBay all the time for between $80 and $100 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't buy used for the most part. I'm pretty anal about my CDs, video games, and DVDs being in perfect condition. -
I like the names Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Death Cab For Cutie, and AFI (A Fire Inside). Then again, I like the bands, too.

I've been tempted to cut myself before whilst depressed, but I scar very easily and I don't want to fuck up my good looks. That, and I have an intense dislike of sharp objects. Pain doesn't bother me in general, but if it's being inflicted via knife, needle, glass, etc. I have a big problem with it.

My voice is incredibly deep, and I just realized that when I laugh uncontrollably (at least while I'm sleep deprived, highly caffeinated, and slightly intoxicated) I have the most deliciously evil laugh. It's movie quality, supervillain/evil mastermind type shit. This will work out great if I ever wrestle as a heel. "Hey Sandman!" *points to Tyler Fullington* "Hehehehehe... AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Need a reliable product to pass a drug test
Matt Young replied to Matt Young's topic in General Chat
It can stay in your system up to 30 days. Anyway, to update the situation, my interview was delayed, and I obviously won't have to take a drug test until that is over with, so maybe I'll be able to pass this thing after all. -
Simpsons Season 6 DVD Set Complaint
Matt Young replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
This reminded me that I should have bought the Seasons 1-5 boxed set collection when it was on sale on Amazon for $90. It's now $150+. :'( -
That's actually the middle name of one of the members. Scary, eh?

Isn't Rumpleminze (that's how I always thought it was spelled) peppermint schnapps with 50% alcohol? I had planned on trying some but have never seen any around. I'll probably have to get it at an actual liquor store if I want a bottle. With that said, thanks for the suggestions, and keep 'em coming. EDIT: I should have said this before alongside the "not wanting to get too sloshed not to function" part, but I'm 5'8" and 125 pounds for those who don't know, and my tolerance is pretty low now thanks to rarely drinking more than twice per week these days.

Ah, I see. As I said before, NCAA 06 will be on sale for $37.99 at Circuit City on Sunday. Should I get it if I am still planning on purchasing Madden in 2 weeks? Will NCAA's online community die once Madden is released?
-
I don't know about the PS3, but I don't see the point in waiting for the Xbox 360 version of Madden '06. It will have better graphics than the version on current consoles, but is strongly rumored to have some features cut, and the online community (the main draw for myself and many others) will be shit compared to the communities on the original Xbox and the PS2. Why wait 3 months and pay $10 more for that?
-
Wait... even if someone sends them to you, how the hell do you get the rosters onto your Xbox without the Action Replay or a similar device? In other news, this game will be on sale for $37 and change starting on the 31st at Circuit City, so I may pick it up with birthday money.

Happy birthday, Dama. I had no idea you were the same age as me (my 21st is Saturday the 30th). I hope you enjoy your day and get ridiculously drunk, if you are so inclined. BOOMER SOONER!
-
My 21st birthday is coming up this Saturday. I've imbibed many an alcoholic beverage in my day, but mostly they have been random varieties of the cheapest sorts of hard liquor (vodka and whiskey) that could be found. I've had many types of beer, but I've always been more of a liquor guy. I'd say my favorite types of hard liquor are Southern Comfort and (while the "hard part is debatable, it's 30%) peppermint schnapps. Every Wednesday for the past 2 months or so, I've been drinking Budweiser at this pizza place/bar (Wednesdays are 40% off nights) and I'm enjoying that. I've rarely ever had any mixed drinks, though. What do you recommend I try on my birthday that will get me good and sloshed, but not too fucked up to where I can't enjoy some quality post-drinking time with the old lady?
-
Heh, so did I. I hear "Rock of Ages", "Return of the Mack", "Hypnotize", and especially "Freebird" quite often. For some reason, I've been hearing a lot of 10,000 Maniacs songs on DirecTV's Adult Alternative digital music channel lately. I also recently heard "Missing" by Everything But The Girl. EDIT: Just now, the song "What I Am" by Edie Brickell/The New Bohemians came on. I love this song.

They can push him into the upper midcard, give him the IC belt, and then eventually turn him heel/non-retarded. If done properly, he could be a main event player, but it'll probably never happen. You know, I never would have thought 5 years ago that I'd be discussing the possibility of Nick Dinsmore as WWF/E Champion.

Hey, let's make South Park self-portraits
Matt Young replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
Same. Mine actually looks like me, although it gives off a goth vibe when I'm not the slightest bit goth. I just wear a lot of black. -
I only own a couple hundred CDs despite being an avid music lover and having had a CD player for 10 years or so. The best examples I could come up with are Tool and The Beatles, 2 of my all-time top 20, maybe top 10 bands. I don't own any Madonna albums (yes, old school Madonna is good listening). No Tupac, either.
-
I've seen the theatrical version a bunch of times already on TV, VHS, and a few times on the DVD, just for the record.
-
Me. The only DVDs I own are from the Christmas DeepDiscountDVD sale, so my collection is only 15 deep.
-
*marks out* I should have seen this coming after the latest house show report. You know, Angle and Dinsmore could put on a great match, given 15 minutes or more.

After watching The Butterfly effect about 15 times this month on Starz and renting the DVD to see the director's cut, I definitely agree with VX. I understand why they went with the ending they chose for the theatrical release, but I feel that the DC ending fits much better with the story, and was even foreshadowed in the scenes where As for Clerks, I bought Clerks X soon after it came out, but only watched the director's cut once while I was high. I'll have to watch it again to see what all the fuss is about.
