Yeah, they've mentioned it on several commercials that I've seen as well as the intro to tonight's premiere.

Tonight at 10:30 EST/7:30 PST (only a few minutes away!) the second season of the Ashlee Simpson show premieres on MTV. Last season's 8 episodes chronicled the journey of Ashlee creating her album from songwriting to commercial release, and this season will feature everything that's happened since then- including the infamous SNL incident. Be sure to tune in or risk killing yourself out of regret.

I was a little too generous with my description at first, I'll admit. I just had never heard anything like that and I was really excited about the music. It still think it's great, but not world changing or anything like I made it sound. I expect most people will love it or hate it, but it's something worth checking out in my opinion.

I'm here to tell you that you need to listen to the band Step Sisterz. I honestly know nothing about them other than the fact that they're friends of my friend Patrick at Oklahoma University, but they added me to their friends list on MySpace and... wow. I've never heard anything like this. Maybe you indie enthusiasts can think of someone to compare them to, but I can't. The music is just so innovative, original, refreshing, and uplifting. Indeed, you are right, but I don't know any musicians out her in California yet. I know there are plenty around, it's just a matter of finding them. I figure that I can mess around with my ideas this way until I actually get a band together. Thanks for the links. I'll check them out now.

I've been playing the guitar and writing songs for quite a while now, but my instrumental ability is limited to the guitar and some bass. What I'm looking for is a cheap or, preferably, free program for the PC where I can do something like put in a sequence of notes and have the program play those notes using an emulation of whichever instrument I choose. That way, I can mess around with ideas for songs and include other instruments which I am currently incapable of playing. I hope that was understandable. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Prince just released an album in 2004. I wouldn't expect another one this year.

My cousin, a huge boxing game fan, told me about this a couple weeks ago. It's a pretty cool extra, but I'm getting the Xbox version if I buy the game at all. Live play is far more important to me, especially when I have the SPO cart and ROM.

I've been wanting to get back into comics ever since seeing X2 a year and a half ago. I found my old X-Men and Batman comic collection from 1993-95 and read through everything (the 200 or so issues that were salvaged), but I can't afford back issues or even trades right now and I want to catch up on all the stuff I've missed eventually. I have DSL now so I should have no problems downloading stuff. Please recommend me some sites where I can get X-books, Batman titles, Spider-Man, and anything else that may be worth reading.

Oh man. I figured I'd mostly play sports games on Xbox Live and very little Halo 2 since I have barely any shooter experience (GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, and the Halos- but never multiplayer Halo) but after a guy I beat on ESPN NFL invited me to play Halo 2.... wow. 5 hours later, I was more than hooked. I'm not all that great, but this game is just too good on Live, even when you suck. It may very well surpass GE/Perfect Dark as the best multiplayer game of all time. I have SBC Yahoo DSL, which has a usual speed of 1.5 Mbps. Last night, it inexplicably slowed down to 250kbps and has stayed there. I haven't downloaded anything at all. What the fuck is going on? I wasted so much time getting DSL to work in the first place, and now this fucking shit. God dammit. This is just as bad as AOL dial-up was.

I hope not. I know there won't be a 2K6, but they can at least keep the online servers up until the next batch of football titles... well, EA's games... are released. Dammit, I'm having too much fun for them to shut it down.

I hope they both get in, but the only reason the Bulls have a better shot is because they're in the East where teams can get in with losing records and, of course, Chicago has an easier schedule. It's great that the Bulls are finally starting to realize their potential, though, after 6 straight losing seasons.
