  1. I could possibly get the GBA and keep the DVDs. Either way, I don't need new games now... I've bought more than a dozen recently. I know I'd probably be better of keeping the DVDs and waiting on the GBA, but as a gaming addict and Star Wars neophyte who is way too high right now, I need a bunch of people to convince me of the set's winning attributes. I don't even make sense to myself.
  2. It's the widescreen (silver box) version. I know nothing of Star Wars. I was a huge Star Trek fan as a kid, but as I said, I only saw Return of the Jedi as far as Star Wars goes and I don't even remember it. I got the box set so I could finally see the trilogy and so that I could finally play Knights of the Old Republic and see what all the fuss is about. I'm very tempted to exchange the movies and get a GBA, but at the same time I'm tempted to rip open the package and watch all 3 movies, while high, in a tripped out marathon. Decisions, decisions...
  3. I got this for $32 during the DeepDiscountDVD.com sale. Almost 2 weeks after they said it shipped, it arrived here yesterday. I haven't opened it yet since I was thinking about exchanging it at Best Buy for $52 credit to put toward a Game Boy Advance (I will only have $200 coming to me for Christmas since I got some early). What should I do? I got the set because these movies are supposedly legendary, yet I've only seen 1- Return of the Jedi- when the Special Edition was in theaters in like 1997. Part of me wants to exchange them and just rent them, but part of me wants to watch them right now, fall in love witht them, and then buy KOTOR for Xbox since I'd probably understand it after seeing the movies.
  4. Hmm... I heard that the Zeldas were cheap and I got Conker for $10 brand new. As far as reporting her to the police, (1) Most police officers are worthless and will do nothing, and (2) I have no proof to give them other than a witness and the fact that I found the remainder of the stuff in her possession.
  5. I've wanted to fuck Lindsey Lohan since I saw "The Parent Trap" 6 years ago when I was 14. In fact, I had my first wet dream about her. Y'all are just bandwagon jumpers.
  6. KKK, I would, but she has nothing of value. Pretty much all her possessions are clothing. She spends most of ehr money on drugs and alcohol. I believe it's her right to use those if that's her choice, but not when she steals to support her habit. As far as owning Yoshi's Story goes, my cousin rented it once and I loved it. There weren't many 2D games on the 64 at the time, and Yoshi's Story was fun despite its brevity. The graphics were amazing at the time as well. Oh, and I got it after receiving a copy of War Gods ($10) for Christmas which I took to KMart and exchanged for the $60 Yoshi's Story. So basically the game was free.
  7. My 17 year old sister is a heartless, soulless bitch. She's a horrible person in general, but here's the story. I moved with my family to California in January and moved back to Illinois in March. I just came back to California a month ago, and most of my belongings had been here that whole time. My sister had supposedly "brought my N64 to a friend's house" which explained why it was in her car. She doesn't play video games normally, though. I found out that my whole shoebox full of N64 games and my controllers and memory cards were all missing. I searched everywhere in the house. She more than likely sold the stuff for drug money. My mom and stepdad, being the complete worthless tools that they are, won't punish my sister for anything she does, so I am stuck replacing this stuff on my own. I wonder how much it will cost. Here's a list of what I believe is missing: 1. Super Mario 64 2. Star Fox 64 3. GoldenEye 4. Perfect Dark 5. Donkey Kong 64 6. Diddy Kong Racing 7. Paper Mario 8. Conker's Bad Fur Day 9. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (gold) 10. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (gold) 11. Mischief Makers 12. Yoshi's Story 13. WCW vs. nWo: World Tour 14. WCW/nWo Revenge 15. WCW Mayhem 16. WWF War Zone 17. WWF Attitude 18. WWF WrestleMania 2000 19. WWF No Mercy 20. ECW Hardcore Revolution 21. NFL Blitz 22. NFL QB Club '98 23. Madden 64 24. NBA Live '99 25. NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC 26. Resident Evil 2 27. Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition 28. All-Star Baseball '99 29. Madden NFL 2000 30. WCW Nitro 31. Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98 I think that's it. I'm hoping they'll be cheap since over half are sports and wrestling games, but who knows. I want them in good condition as well. Oh yeah, there was also a Toys R Us limited Extreme Green controller, a blue one, two grey ones, and a 4x memory card. This is a sad time. I couldn't wait to play my N64 after I got back here. Well, at least I had my GameCube and Xbox with me and the other dozen systems and 200+ games in my collection are safe.
  8. It has been abundantly clear in every one of Ashlee's live performances except for SNL that she has been singing live, as her vocals have not sounded like the record.
  9. I have a copy of the Mortal Kombat: Deception Kollector's Edition with the Mileena cover for the Xbox. It was purchased on 10/30/04 and has only been played maybe 5 times. It's a great game on multiplayer, but I got tired of the single player mode very quickly and I don't have Live. I'm wanting to either sell the game or trade for something else. As far as trades go, I'm open to trading for games for lots of different systems, but an Xbox game or something GBA related is preferable. The game was and still is $60 brand new. It's in perfect condition except for the missing shrink wrap. It includes all manuals, the Mileena metal trading card, and the bonus disc with the "Making of Mortal Kombat" videos and the arcade port of MK1. Make me an offer here or PM/e-mail me if you're interested.
  10. Messed up, please delete.
  11. Save to your computer + Open up in MS Paint + increase size = readable. I= never thought of that= thanks.
  12. This is just insane. I cannot believe this has happened. I'm hoping I didn't really just wake up and I'm still dreaming. Never in 43 million years would I have expected this. I won't lie and say Pantera was one of my favorite bands, but I have been a fan of theirs since probably 1996-97 and I still listen to their music to this day, especially when I need to vent my anger and frustration. In fact, I popped in Vulgar Display of Power after I read Tugboat's list of favorite albums. Darrell was one of my favorite hard rock/heavy metal guitarists of the last decade because he played balls-out and had an attitude to match. I've even had 2 pictures of him on my "Guitar Heroes" wall in my bedroom at my old house. I obviously don't kow him personally, but I'm sure that he has many friends and family who will be devastated by the loss, not to mention thousands of Damageplan fans and other Pantera fans who are mroe devoted than myself. This is a sad day. It's just so fucked up... I truly hope that Darrell can get his hands on the dude and have his justic in the afterlife. This all may sound disjointed, but right now I'm only halfway awake and very shocked. I hope this doesn't sound disrespectful, but I'm gonna go burn one for Dimebag Darrell and put on one of my Pantera CDs.
  13. Bad eeysight +ridiculously small print + large black spots over 1/4 of the words= nearly unreadable.
  14. Are there any sites with archived Wrestlecrap articles? I know that when RD stopped hosting the full site, he had some CD=R's of the site that he included with tapes he was selling, but do any sites have all the entries? I remember discovering WC and reading every entry in one night. I'd like to re-read those as well as the one I missed this year. It would also be cool if there was an archive of his mailbags, but I'm not expecting that at all. Can anyone help me out here?
  15. Maybe they figured that the Hiroko/Torrie Bra and Panties match was a bigger draw than the tag title contest, so they decided to have the tag match on Smackdown and save the big attraction for Armageddon.
  16. Thanks. I was just about to request these. Some stuff looks good. Kidman vs. London should be fun even though they're wasting a good blowoff match on Velocity AGAIN. C.W. Anderson~! 'Buff said. The tag title match should be good and it will be nice to see if Jesus can be a miracle worker in the ring ( ) despite his injury.
  17. The Village, definitely. I expected it to be very good, but it was pretty shitty.
  18. It's in LA though, and he almost always appears at shows in LA and Anaheim (along with Miami, of course). And if I am somehow able to secure a ticket to the show, I want to see The Rock, dammit. Anyway, if they go with HHH/Batista at WrestleMania, they should have Randy Orton beat The Rock. I figured that's what they were planning on after WMXX last year since they didn't do the logical thing and have Orton pin Rock at Mania in the handicap match before beating Foley at Backlash. Rock/Cena, Rock/Michaels, and Rock/Edge would be great as well.
  19. Yes, Marvin, I agree. Gameplay is the most important thing. But if developers can match up graphics of this quality with good gameplay... wow. Besides, we already know that the Madden and Need For Speed games feature really good gameplay.
  20. I'm disappointed that Cal got screwed, but at least my allegiances won't be divided in that game now. I would've rooted for Michigan regardless, but I like Cal as well. Now they can both get bowl victories.
  21. Consider this- These are concept images from (I presume) development kits. The first generation games, once completed, could look even better and by the time we get a couple years into the systems' lifespans they will have figured out how to get the most out of the hardware, thereby improving things further.
  22. This is great. I just got the season 1 DVDs, but I had been wondering when season 2 would come out. Season 2 was the better season in my opinion. I have half the episodes on tape, but having them all in condensed DVd format along with those killer extras is going to be awesome. This is going to be a loooooooooong two months...
  23. www.insidepulse.com has posted the following: "Electronic Arts has just released two conceptual images to demontrate what the graphics of next generation console systems will be like. Neither of these are official games, but rather a preview of what may potentially come. In other words, frivolous fluff; but still fun to imagine the possibilities and look at." These screenshots are incredible. I had seen shots of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for PS3 and Xbox 2 in Game Informer and those were amazing, but this Madden shot tops those. I didn't think they could improve this much on today's console graphics. Here are the links: Next Gen Need For Speed Next Gen Madden Enjoy.

    NFL Week 13

Atlanta/Tampa is airing out here. I haven't seen either team play this year, so I might as well check out this Michael Vick fellow I've been hearing so much about while waiting for the Packers to shock the Eagles. EDIT: Just went back to page 1 and saw the thing about Green Bay on ESPN Classic. Fuck the Falcons/Bucs game. EDIT 2: God dammit, that was yesterday. I need to pay attention to the post dates. I can't believe I missed it. Falcons/Bucs it is, then.
  25. It figures that as soon as I leave Illinois, the Illini get really good. I never much cared for them (Michigan fan here) but it would've been cool to see some good Illini/Wolverines action in Champaign. I went to Champaign every other weekend anyway. I'm very happy to see Wake Forest doing so well. I jumped on the Wake/Tim Duncan bandwagon when I started watching college ball in the mid-90's and I've stayed on as a fan ever since. I hope they fuck Duke up but good. I love Coach K, but I can't stand Duke. I wonder if UC-Riverside is playing anyone good this season. That's the school I'll probably end up going to and it's 5 miles from my house, so I could catch some games. I'm all excited about the season now. I've always preferred the NBA, but this year I am a lot more stoked for NCAA hoops for some reason.
