Haha! The Packers almost gave me a heart attack, but after blowing the 14 point lead, Longwell nailed a field goal as time expired for their 4th straight win to move into first place. The packers have won 4 straight and the Vikings have dropped 3 in a row... It's deja vu all over again.

Nothing in Los Angeles? if not, I guess I'm S.O.L. There has to be something, though...

Well, who didn't see that coming. At least now the tabloids will have to find something else to devote entire issues to. Now it's time to turn on the news and learn more. P.S. LJ- Call me, dammit.

For the first time in almost 4 years

I didn't know about the TNA special... fuck. Oh well, at least Smackdown was decent tonight. -
Drink your Thanksgiving dinner this year

What, no deviled egg flavor? Seriously, the only flavor on that list that might be halfway decent would be cranberry. -
Damn, man... I never thought I'd see the day when you'd sell your videos. What could you possibly want so badly that you would do such a thing? I know you don't need the cash since you have no expenses. Anyway, I would have loved to have bought the tapes, but of course you waited until 2 days after I moved away and spent most of my extra cash on an Xbox and games. Fucker.

I could probably find out myself pretty easily, but I want to browse the boards and I won't be getting off my ass (or this site) soon, so I was wodnering- how much does the League Pass cost? I get plenty of Bulls games on WGN, Fox Sports Chicago, and I think Comcast Sportsnet is showing some, but I don't get to see many Timberwolves games in Illinois. I'm still sticking with the Bulls even after 6 years of suck, but the T'Wolves are my favorites and the only team I like that can provide any sort of entertainment. I'd also love to see some of the teams whose games I never get to watch on TNT and TBS.

Well, I had played the game on an in-store demo and I liked it, but after trying the full version, I realized it wasn't what I was expecting. The game, by the way, is SVC Chaos for the Xbox. I got it at Toys R Us. I have the receipt, but one time when I had to exchange a defective game at that store for another copy of the same title, they removed the wrapper before handing it to me. That's why I wanted to find another store that I could do this at. My cousin had suggested Wal-Mart, and I also have an EB Games in the area. I may as well try both of those. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

Today, I picked up a used Xbox from GameCrazy. That store has always sold me great products and I had never had a single problem with anything I'd purchased there... until now. I got the first of their 2 Xbox systems this morning and brought it home. I tried 5 different brand new games on it. It would not read any of the discs. Frustrated, I went back to the store to exchange it. The clerk tested out the other unit for me in the store to make sure that it was in working order, and things seemed fine. Happy in the knowledge that I would soon be experiencing many hours of gaming excitement, I amde the trip back home. I plugged in the console and popped in ESPN NBA 2K5. I heard a slight popping/fizzling noise, but it stopped as abruptly as it began, so I thought nothing of it. Shortly thereafter, the Xbox shut off for no apparent reason. I checked the cords, turned the power back on, and I both saw and heard a spark on the inside of the system, which was followed up by a puff of smoke arising from the 'Box. I quickly unplugged the unit and placed an angry call to the store, where the clerk acted 100% nonchalant about the whole ordeal. My home could have burned to the ground! They say they test these systems, but that is obviously not the case. After getting my money back, I will never again shop at that GameCrazy, and if possible, I will make a strong complaint (or hopefully something more effective) to their corporate headquarters. Has anyone else ever experienced this type of event, or even so much as heard of it?

I keep hearing about people returning opened video games, but I have never heard of a store that has such a policy. I need to exchange a new, opened game that I have. I don't want money back, just another game of equal value. Is there any place where I can do this?

I'm getting an Xbox finally and I need some game recommendations. Any type of game will do, as I can find something I like in every genre. However, I just got a few sports and fighting games, so I don't need more of those. I went to Toys R Us and took advantage of their buy-2-games-get-1-free sale, but they didn't have a lot of the games I wanted, most specifically Street Fighter Anniversary Collection (delayed?) and Ultra Bust-A-Move. Regardless, here's what I got: Mortal Kombat: Deception SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom Guilty Gear X2 #Reload: The Midnight Carnival (will be exchanging for another $20 game) ESPN NBA 2K5 ESPN NFL 2K5 Ultra Bust A Move and Halo should be in my possession soon. Otherwise, please recommend away.

I'm surprised that no one has started a topic on this already, but I could have missed it seeing as how I've been gone for the better part of 7 months... On Sunday, I played Donkey Konga for the first time. Although I love music and video games, I never really played any rhythm-action/music games (except a little DDR). However, Donkey Konga had me intrigued from the moment it was announced seeing as how I love all things Nintendo and they have a knack for making very fun, very innovative games. I was all set to buy Paper Mario 2 until Konga came into my life. My cousin brought the game over and played a couple songs. Since he only had the 1 controller that came with it, I just watched him play. Speaking of controllers... for the uninitiated, Donkey Konga is meant to be played using the DK Bongo drum controller. Notes roll across the screen in the form of barrels, and you are prompted to hit the left drum when you see yellow, right when red comes up, and both drums for a pink barrel. You also do the occasional drum roll. The bongos even have a sound sensor that acknowledges the sound of you clapping. You use these simple yet effective controls to play allkinds of songs ranging from Devo's "Whip It" to "Bingo" (which actually is great with the clap sensor). This all may sound stupid to some, but it is highly addictive. This game seeps deep into your soul, latches on, and won't let go. How addictive is it? Just hours after playing for the first time with my cousin, I went out and spent $50 on the game. Now I can look forward to the multiplayer bongo battles that will surely commence on many (possibly drunken) nights in the near future.

Dammit, Jordan from NFG lied! At the Warped Tour, he said his band would be coming through St. Louis with Green Day. I see no date. Green Day's my favorite band, but I've never seen them live. I also wouldn't mind seeing NFG and/or Sugarcult again. Hmm... maybe I can make it to Chicago.

I was just coming on here (after an extended hiatus) to post regarding this subject. I was fat til last year- 175 pounds or so at 5'8"- but I got down to 125-130. Now I'm trying to add muscle. I just got a gym membership a couple weeks ago and am doing well, but these routines could definitely help me out.

I forgot all about the Easter eggs. Can someone list how to access them? I've watched all 3 discs at least 5 times but I have never seen the "wooooo" segment.

Even though I've moved back to Illinois, I'll definitely have to visit my family and friends in California next March to see this show. I've been to WCW TV events, but only house shows as far as the WWF/E goes... No TV tapings, no PPVs, and certainly no WrestleManias. 21's my lucky number, so hopefully I can attend with LJSexay.

I just moved from Moreno Valley/Riverside, CA, back home to Springfield, Illinois, so I kind of know what you're going through. However, I don't know the Chicago area, and I'm too high to explain anything right now, anyway. Get me some more pancakes and we'll talk. Otherwise, it'll have to wait til I sober up, and I've still got a while to go before that happens.

Yeah, it can be like a smark sitcom! Every week, we have a new zany adventure where we get in unbelievable amounts of trouble, fail horribly while attempting to pick up women, and refer to everything in smark talk. Then if all else fails, or even if it doesn't, we can get really drunk, break things, humiliate ourselves, give away the results of our upcoming WrestleMania title match at a bar, and then wake up the next day not remembering a thing. (EDIT: Either all that, or something a whole lot funnier that I'm not creative enough to think of at this time of night) Actually, that wouldn't be too different from college.

After a month and a half, the California experiment is over. While I love the weather and the area in general, I am being goaded into violent arguments with my mom and stepdad almost daily where they go out of their way to be brutally evil and attack me regarding subjects that are very personal, which I am very sensitive to. There is no way I can deal with that bullshit every day. It would be fine if I could get a job and rent an apartment as I had planned, but even the cheapest apartments here are $750-800, and the jobs I've interviewed for don't even pay enough to cover that despite the minimum wage being $2 higher than in Illinois. I was planning on taking my dad and stepmom up on their offer to move in with them in Mississippi, but they claim that money is tight right now and that there's no room, which is kind of true since they live in a mobile home- A nice one, but still limited as far as space goes. So now I head back to Illinois. I'll probably be a nomad, drifting from place to place like I did around this time last year until I find a job. Once I find work, I'll only have to save up for roughly a month to be able to pay for one of the several apartments I've checked out that were in the $400-500 range. I won't have most of my stuff for a while so I'm not sure how much net access I'll have, but I know I'll be able to at least get on once a week, although it will likely be more. I just wanted to let you guys know about this since 2 or 3 people might care if I'm gone. I'm leaving in 7 hours and will arrive in Springfield this afternoon. I'll try to get back to posting within the next few days. I'll see you all then.

It's even worse down here in the southern part of Cali, Mike. $800 is apparently a bargain for a 1 bedroom apartment. That's what's going to force me to leave the area. I can't stand living with my parents, nor do I want to, but it'd be impossible to afford my own place here at the moment.
-
I'll probably be back in Illinois by then, so I'll either be ordering it with friends or fellow wrestling trainees (if a group of them orders the show) or, if they're broke like me, we'll all go down to Hooters just like every other month. Either way, I'm not missing WrestleMania. I missed it last year due to girl troubles, but no fucking way am I missing WrestleMania XX.
-
That actually would've been a hell of a match if it was pre-surgery Sean Waltman. Anyway, I need to go back and watch that tape. I know I have the show on tape somewhere, because it was the first PPV I ever ordered myself after seeing the shows for years at various friends' homes or on tape.

I've enjoyed a lot of Big Show's work ever since he got traded to Smackdown, but the fact is that he has done nothing with the US Title aside from 2 meaningless defenses against Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly, and the US Title isn't right for him anyway. I've been a huge Cena fan since his Prototype days. I even marked for him when he was the "Vanilla Jobber", and right now, he's the hottest he's ever been. A victory at WrestleMania with Show dominating the beginning of the match and Cena coming back with (maybe) a chain shot and finishing with an FU for the pin and the title would get a HUGE pop. The only way he might get a bigger reaction is if they had waited and not had him hit the FU on Show until WrestleMania.

Yes, it's big, but as I said- It doesn't stretch the page. However, if enough people are bothered by it, I will change it. Normally I wouldn't use an image that big because I don't often like when other people do it, but I love this graphic in particular.
