Who would've ever thought that HORSHU~! could ever become something?

It's a neckbreaker where Shannon does a front flip off the 2nd rope into the move. It's basically the same as the Buff Blockbuster or Hurricane's overcast.

Why is Franz Ferdinand hailed as "the next big thing"? They're just as horrible as, if not worse than, The Strokes, The Hives, and all those other shitty bands. Their songs are boring, repetitive, and uninspired.

He's hit it a fair amount, including in his victory last week over Akio. That brought back old 3 Count/Jung Dragons memories. Shannon Moore for Cruiserweight Champ!

Bumping for reference.

How is this the "official thread" when I started a thread about the game over a month ago that got several responses? http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=62442

A few weeks ago, I turned on the TV and saw a video for a Jay-Z and Linkin Park collaboration. It was a live version of "Encore/Numb". I thought it was really good. I saw later on that MTV had a half hour special, MTV Mash-Ups, showing several such collaborative performances where the Jay-Z and LP blended their songs together into a unique and quite entertaining hybrid. I found out that the album, Collision Course, is set for release on Tuesday, November 30th. I was really interested in getting this CD/DVD package. I really thought it had potential to be one of 2004's top albums based on what I've heard. I'm very disappointed, however, that there are so few tracks. I will still give them a listen on MTV.com's "The Leak" and I may get the album, but I'm having doubts now. Has anyone else heard any of this, and if so, what's your opinion? By the way, before I go, here's the track listing: Disc 1 01. Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying from You 02. Big Pimpin'/Papercut 03. Jigga What/Faint 04. Numb/Encore 05. Izzo/In the End 06. Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer Disc 2 07. Intro [DVD] 08. In the Studio [DVD] 09. Jay-Z Arrives [DVD] 10. Rehearsal [DVD] 11. Sound Check [DVD] 12. Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying from You [DVD][Live][Multimedia Track] 13. Big Pimpin'/Papercut [DVD][Live] 14. Jigga What/Faint [DVD][Live] 15. Numb/Encore [DVD][Live] 16. Izzo/In the End [DVD][Live] 17. Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer [DVD][Live] 18. End Credits [DVD] 19. MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups [DVD]

Yeah, I'm 5 miles away from UC-Riverside.

I'd probably go with one of the years when the NES had tons of great games released, but look at a few years ago- 2001. The PS2 had been out for a year and was starting to get into a groove. The Game Boy Advance was released with quality games. The Xbox and GameCube came out within days of each other. The Dreamcast was dying, but it still had quality software being released for it. The Nintendo 64 even had some excellent games in the form of Paper Mario and Conker's Bad Fur Day. I have no knowledge of PC games, but I'd say that's pretty impressive as far as the console side of things goes.

It was 68 degrees at that time. Ever since I got here 3 weeks ago, the temperature has varied from as high as 75 during the day to low 60s, and at night it's anywhere from as high as 50 to as low as 35. At any rate, 60's may be cold to you, but I come from Illinois where I'm used to sub-zero winters. 60 degrees is a picnic for me. Just as a side note- it's too bad you're not still around these parts. I love my marijuana and the Green Bay Packers (I'm wearing a GB sweatshirt now) so we have a little in common, heh.

I almost bought it just because it's $20 and I have always loved the VC/Sega Sports games. I must know some things, however. Is it different enough from NBA 2K5 to warrant a purchase? I don't want the same game twice. I alsow as disappointed with NBA 2K5. It's good, but not great as the Dreamcast iterations were to me. How's the new free throw system? If it's the same as NBA's,.... ugh. As much as I hate to do it, I always have to turn free throw help on (at least in mutiplayer) because the NBA meter is nigh impossible. I know they've always used trigger buttons to control free throws, but it worked well in older versions. This new game's system is too cheap.

I got one from GameCrazy a couple weeks ago after going through 2 sued Xbox systems from there, one of which almost blew up. My NCAA and Top Spin games also came on the same disc. I'm loving the system, but I don't have time to play all my games. Thanks to Toys R Us' buy 2 get 1 game free sale, I had several Xbox games before I got the system. In total I ended up getting 7 Xbox games (counting the 2 that came with it) and 2 Cube games in one week, with another Xbox purchase coming after that. Here's what I ended up with for Xbox: Halo Halo 2 Splinter Cell (haven't even played yet) ESPN NFL 2K5 ESPN NBA 2K5 Mortal Kombat: Deception NCAA Football 2005 Top Spn As you can tell, I love my sports games. I have a ton of great single player games for GC, so I wanted good Live enabled sports games for my Xbox. Still, I had to restrain myself from buying Madden 2005 for $20 today. I need to actually get value out of the games I have now first.

What's the difference between the 3 versions of the album I've been hearing about? Supposedly there's the CD, a Cd and DVD, and a CD/DVD with bonus tracks or something. I'm guessing that only the CD itself is on sale for $7.99, right? Regardless, is the sale all day long or just til noon? I can't make it out to Best Buy til after 5 P.M.

How long does it usually take when you order? EDIT: Post 666~!

What's the deal with shipping? They were supposed to send my available DVDs immediately via 3-5 day shipping and of course I'd have to wait on the backordered ones. Now The "available" ones are postponed indefinitely. Here's what my order looks like: Order Summary: Item Item Status Order Quantity Item Price Shipped Quantity Ship Date Subtotal HIGH FIDELITY BACKORDER 1 $7.48 0 ~11/30/04 N/A ECW-RISE & FALL OF ECW BACKORDER 1 $14.51 0 ~11/30/04 N/A THIS IS SPINAL TAP IN PROCESS 1 $7.29 0 N/A N/A THE SHINING (KUBRICK COLLECTION) BACKORDER 1 $9.50 0 ~11/30/04 N/A STAR WARS TRILOGY (WS) BACKORDER 1 $33.50 0 ~11/30/04 N/A WWE-HARD KNOCKS: THE CHRIS BENOIT IN PROCESS 1 $12.93 0 N/A N/A CLERKS 10TH ANNIVERSARY ED (3D) BACKORDER 1 $19.00 0 ~11/30/04 N/A WWE-CHEATING DEATH STEALING LIFE-E BACKORDER 1 $12.93 0 ~11/29/04 N/A CHAPPELLE'S SHOW-1ST SEASON SET IN PROCESS 1 $15.60 0 N/A N/A WWE-ULTIMATE RIC FLAIR COLLECTION, BACKORDER 1 $16.73 0 ~11/30/04 N/A Shipping: $4.95 Order Total: $154.42 Tax Charged: $0.00 Total Charged: $0.00 I thought my non-backorder DVDs would be here by now, but the ship dates are "N/A". I could totally picture goombas and koopas in old style 1920's uniforms. The goombas would of course be gruff, tobacco-chewing motherfuckers.

I was directly connected the first time, but i'm doing it now and am not connected. I'm pissing my pants in excitement because of the fact that my 56k is now working like broadband, and I'm used to ridiculously slow computers. For example, I couldn't get insidepulse.com to load at all before even after 10 minutes of waiting, and now it takes 5 seconds.
-
Czech- Are you the ChicagoLoop guy I have on my AIM buddy list from talking to like 8 months ago before I moved and was without net access?

http://www.insidepulse.com/article.php?contentid=29464 No information really, but a few screenshots. Just like Mario Kart and Mario Golf, this should be quite fun. I'm looking forward to it.

As much as I hate the cold weather, I love having snow around Christmas. It gets me in the holiday spirit. for the first 20 Christmases of my life (counting the year I was born of course) there was always snow on or around Christmas since I was in central Illinois, where the winters can be pretty harsh as far as midwestern states go. However, I now reside in Southern California, and it's 70 degrees and sunny outside. Palm trees line the street. I'm sure as fuck not going to complain, but I will indeed miss the snow.

Come on, Inc. Fess up. You slipped some 'cid in my Diet Cherry Coke, didn't you! This is seriously fucking with my head. I am already delirious from sleep deprivation, and no one here can figure out what's going on. This should theoretically be impossible.

We have 1 phone line here at my parents' house where I am currently at. I signed off AOL dial up so that my sister could use the one and only phone line, but I am still able to chat on AIM while she's on the phone. I am also obviously able to use IE, and it's as fast as cable! We have no cabel modem of any sort. This makes no sense, but it's wild.

I didn't like Vertigo at first, but it's growing on me. My cousin, who has similar tastes in music to mine, said that the album's great. I'll probably purchase it at the $7.99 price point.

I called Wal-Mart last night after hearing that they had it for the same price as Target and they told me that they had some copies. I picked it up for $27.84- well, exactly $30 after tax. If anyone else is planning on buying it, do it now. The regular tag price is $45, so if you get it this week you'll save $15+. I watched the DVD and listened to the first 15 songs (of 23) on disc 1. I'm loving it so far. It's reminding me why I loved Nirvana so much, and it gives me even more incentive to play my guitar again (which I just got back after a year, and haven't played in a year and a half total). You get 81 tracks total on 3 CDs and a DVD, 65 or so of which were previously unreleased. There's also a 60 page full color booklet included. The sound quality ranges from horrible-pretty good, but the actual song/content quality for the most part is top-notch. Question for others who own it- Did the cardboard thing with the track listings on the back fall off your boxes? The cheap ass glue didn't hold it on mine. I tried taping it on, but that didn't work too well either. I finally decided to just scrape the ugly glue off and store the cardboard thing inside the case in the pocket that holds the booklet.
