When have I ever been rude to you? I don't recall ever making any negative comments about you, except maybe in response to one of your very first posts. And I can't even begin to fathom why anyone would find me the least bit pretentious, especially in the wrestling folder. I have never claimed that my opinion matters more than anyone else's, and I make an effort to get along with everyone unless another person becomes an instigator.

No shit? What shows did you see at Assembly Hall? Starting in 1998, WCW and the WWF started running Springfield again since business was booming, and I was able to travel to St. Louis more often. Thus, the only show I went to at Assembly Hall was on September 27th, 1997. It featured, among other things, a Bret Hart/Undertaker main event for the title, Owen Hart vs. The Patriot, Triple H vs. Mankind, Goldust vs. Brian Pillman, and The New Blackjacks vs. The Godwinns in a country whipping match.

I don't have a PS3, so my opinions will be limited to the Xbox 360 games. I had been a 2K devotee since the very first game in the series on the Dreamcast. In fact, the last Live game I purchased was the 1998 edition. But I bought NBA 2K8lastyear and sold it after 3 weeks because I hated it. It looked like NBA 2K7, which was a great game, but played like dog shit. After reading about all the features that were to be implemented in NBA Live 09, I figured it was time for a change. Then came the demos. I must state, first off, that the Live demo wasn't bad at all. There was just something kind of off about it. It was still above average. But the 2K9 demo was amazing. Great stuff. I'm a bit wary since I liked the 2K8 demo and hated the final product, but this one's much better and I don't think they could screw it up. That, combined with 2K's far superior online leagues, makes me very tempted to buy 2K9 this year. The only problem with 2K9 is that they need to bring back the free throw shooting system where you hold down the trigegrs to try to line up the arrows. ... Just kidding. How about the rest of you guys? I'm sure Ripper will be able to impart some knowledge into this thread.

Yes. He's really mastered the "bury everyone else on your roster and beat the guy you don't clean" method of being a face. Losing the match to the Champ isn't getting buried, the Champ isn't supposed too lose. Trips has only been the champ since Backlash. Is Joe burying people in TNA when he doesn't lose his title matches? Is Nigel burying people in ROH by not losing title matches? Jeff Hardy doesn't deserve the title, and you all know it. Jeff Hardy deserves the title, and it's about time for HHH to lose it. He's been the champion for 6 months, and while I like the guy as a heel, he's stale as a face champion.
