  1. For the most part, McCain has gotten positive coverage. As its been stated earlier in this thread somewhere, that people are hoping Hillary gets the nomination because she's an easier opponent for McCain to defeat in the general election.
  2. Val Venis is a lifer, he's not going anywhere unless he does something incredibly stupid.
  3. This is bringing back memories of that special Nitro in 1998 when Ric Flair returned.
  4. Federation: 7 for pure nostalgia, but 8 is right behind. Attitude: 17, followed by 18 Entertainment: 20 for obvious reasons, 19 is very close second.
  5. What a slow month.
  6. Federation: 11 is easily the worst. The only good match on there was HBK / Diesel. Everthing else was a borefest. Attitude: 16 just sucked so bad. Entertainment: 23 goes here, but that's only because I thought 19 - 22 were better.
  7. With all the cool false finishes in Edge / Undertaker, I actually thought Edge might have had a chance of ending the Streak. It was great booking really. It was fitting that Orton was the one, who pinned him since Orton had never defeated Cena by pinfall until tonight. Orton's victory was historic because not only did he win without McMahon's help, but he was the first world champion to retain in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania and he won clean!
  8. I take back everything bad I said, this was one of the greatest Wrestlemanias ever. Edit: Also, kudos to WWE for putting Edge / Undertaker as the main event since A.) They wanted to see fans leave the show happy given Orton's victory and B.) To make it up to the Undertaker for last year's bullshit of taking him and Batista out of the main event spot for no good reason
  9. Edge Vs. Undertaker has been the worst booked main event feud since Jericho Vs. HHH
  10. Samoa Joe HAS to win this time!
  11. Meet The Spartans was another case of all the best things from the movie being shown in the trailer. So its another one of those "I honestly have no idea what the fuck is going on here, but I'll just go with it" movies? Gotcha.
  12. I thought Obama had this election in the bag until his pastor had to open his fucking mouth and embarrassed Obama's campaign (although I understood where he was coming from, but you don't say that kind of shit when its being recorded / televised when you're associated with a Presidential candidate.) THANK GOD Hillary got caught red handed lying to the American people about the Bosnia thing. McCain might win this though if Iraq is not the primary issue.
  13. Page talks about it in his book, Positively Page, if you can find a copy of it.
  14. Matches I'm looking forward to: Edge / Undertaker Michaels / Flair MITB IV Finlay / Layfield
  15. As another poster stated, the Flair retirement angle would have been far better if he made the decision to do it and not being forced into it by Vince McMahon. Also, the perfect ending to the angle should've been the classic Career Vs. Title spot. Michaels / Flair will be the best match of WM 24. I would've liked it better if Flair had stayed in a managerial position as he did with HHH instead of being JTTS. He'll be back just like everybody else that's retired from the WWE. Savage / Flair WM VIII, classic storytelling start to finish. A bit overrated, but he does belong in the Greatest Top 10 category and I appreciate his overall contribution to the business. Yes, but it would've been nice if he had one more title win. Yes, honestly he should've retired years ago either at WM 18 or at the 2003 RAW in Greenville, but I did enjoyed his Taboo Tuesday cage match against HHH and the TLC match against Edge for the WWE Championship.
  16. Rocky Field of Dreams Remember The Titans Varsity Blues Friday Night Lights Glory Road Gladiator
  17. I'm calling it right now, 50 CENT is going to interfere and help Mayweather win the match!
  18. I'm fine with them showing Benoit, just make it easy and show the matches where he gets his ass kicked instead. The only exceptions would be the 2004 Royal Rumble and WM XX since Benoit won the most important match.
  19. J.R. will be inducting Solie, he confirmed it in his blog.
  20. HHH - He's lost THREE Wrestlemanias in a row. I don't see it happening again. The Undertaker - Predictable, but I don't mind. Mayweather - I wonder if they'll even remember this whole feud was over Rey Mysterio in the build-up video? Michaels - It would be hiliarious if Flair had Michaels in the Figure 4, but Michaels reverses by turning over and Flair gives up. Has that spot in wrestling EVER be done?!! Jericho - His comeback was heavily anticipated and hyped, he got a world title shot on PPV right away, he won the IC title again, and he hasn't won at a Wrestlemania since 17 in 2001. He definitely deserves the win although I think Kennedy deserves a second chance. Either way, Jericho or Kennedy winning would be historic (First current champion to win MITB or the first guy to win MITB back to back) JBL - He's not losing his return Wrestlemania match, I guarantee it! Batista Kane - ECW is crap, but it'd be nice to see Kane AS world champion once again a whole decade later. However, either Orton and / OR Edge should win their respective matches as it would do wonders for their careers as one of the other posters mentioned. Orton or Edge retaining would be the greatest heel victory / upset win since Chris Jericho won the Undisputed Championship. Either way would be historic. Orton would defeat both men he has beef with in the same match and become the first heel champion to walk out of Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion from a triple threat match. And Edge beating the Undertaker would automatically put him in down in the pages of WWE History as The Most Hated Superstar Ever (no ------ jokes please)
  21. Record time, the event hasn't even happened yet.
  22. I totally agree with a Sgt. Slaughter cameo, it's a must!
  23. Team USA Vs. The Foreign Fanatics is still one of my favorite old school fun main event matches.
