Someone told me that Dimebag Darrell had no talent and was useless. Yeah that pissed me off just a bit.

The jump from their debut to Toxicity was quite the gap. They somehow pumped out really catchy radio singles while still staying somewhat heavy and keeping their really really weird lyrics intact. Their first album was so much better though, and it doesn't seem like the SOAD of old is going to come back anytime soon.

Even though I am a huge Zakk Wylde fan, I agree that he puts out way too many albums within too short of a time span. It's time for him to take a little break from writing songs for a while.

I got into Pantera about 2 years ago and quickly bought all of their albums, becoming a very dedicated fan. I've been listening to them even up until now. Hell, I popped in Far Beyond Driven just a few days ago. Dimebag Darrell is one of my idols as far as guitarists goes, and I can't believe this happened. Fuck that guy, I'm just glad he wasn't able to hurt too many people. I'm pissed off.
