    48. Hugs.

I was actually thinking more in terms of being the huggee than the hugger. I only started getting fat a few months ago, and I'm a long way from thinking of myself as a 'big' guy yet. If anything, I think of myself as someone who's going to lose 40 lbs. this summer and return to peak physical condition.

    24: Season 5

I've gone out of my way to avoid anything that might spoil next week. I didn't watch next week's preview (for about the first time all season) and I'm pumped. They've got a pretty good story going and I want to see how they wrap the whole thing up in two hours.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Phoenix sucks. They have no chance of getting to the Finals. Honestly, I'd give the Spurs a better chance of coming back from 3-1 then I would of the Suns/Clippers winning from 0-0. Going into the playoffs, we knew that there were 4 real contenders for the title and that hasn't changed. The only thing different is that one of the real contenders is on the verge of getting eliminated by one of the other real contenders who only has to win one out of three.

    48. Hugs.

This only works if you're an attractive female. If a big sweaty guy comes up and hugs somebody, most people will just want to punch him in the face.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

I saw that. That was great. You know that guy's going to be telling all his buddies that he single-handedly won the games for the Mavs by making Parker miss those two free throws.

THE DALLAS MAVERICKS ARE GOING TO THE NBA FINALS!!!! HOLLA!!! Honestly, there's no way they lose now. You can take it to the bank.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Wow, I am officially on the Jason Terry bandwagon after that shot. Up until this point, I always thought of him as a decent placeholder until Harris matured, but I changed my mind right now. He's a hell of a basketball player.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Wow, this is a great game. I have to say, Duncan in the post scared me a lot more than Parker at the top of the key would have, but now that they're in OT, I really think Dallas gets the job done.

    46. Rest of the lists.

Come on Leena. I'm trying to act unaffected here, but I really am kinda wondering how I ended up #1 on your bad list. I tend to agree with you more often than not on the forums, and I would have thought I'd be more likely to end up on the good side than the bad side. Was it that silly PM about the arcade a month and a half ago? For the record, I was only interested in that for about three days, and the PM was as much a joke as anything. How about either a simple "yes, I really think you're the worst poster on TSM" or "you're the first thing that popped into my head at the time, and I wanted to get you back for saying I cheated at computer games and making fun of Dama".

    WWE Power 25 Rankings.

This comment amused me: Between the SummerSlam commercial shoot and "officially" advancing to the King of the Ring finals, it has been a busy week for Booker... But not good enough to help him move up in the POWER 25.

    Tomorrow will be MY DAY....FROM...HELL!

I still work 12 hour shifts with no overtime sometimes. Of course, long hours are a lot more palatable when your only job is playing poker.

Wow, how on earth did I make it up this high on the bad list? I said Damaramu was a stupid troll on your blog comments which is pretty accurate, but that's about all I can think of. If I was #2 behind EHME or something, it wouldn't be that noteworthy, but #1? I'm kinda curious how I made it that far.

    NHL 2006 Playoffs thread...

Go Sens go. They actually looked like they outplayed Buffalo a little in that first period, as toward the end, the Sabres hardly got any scoring chances at all. I still believe.

    42. #9 in the countdown of boredum.

Whoa whoa whoa. You got Damaramu on the good side? Come on now. I guess I can appreciate the unintentional comedy, but he never says anything intelligent and he gets awfully annoying when he really goes off on something. I'd say that I get annoyed after about 70% of his posts that I read. They're always "well, I'm right because I think I am even though I don't know anything about the subject".

    The OAO RAW Thread 8/5/2006

God damn it. I hate it when the smarks attach themselves to the most boring workers on the roster and pretend like they're good. The Spirit Squad is boooooring. No one cares if they win their matches, because if they win it's "oh well, it was 5 on 2, it doesn't count any way" and if they lose, it's "oh well, they're jobbers facing main eventers". And to add to that, they've been in the main event of Raw three weeks in a row. Just think about that. Three weeks in a row, we've had boring jobbers vs. all the main event faces be the highlight of the show. Does anyone really think this is a good formula. I don't care if the live crowd gets into it, the TV crowd is bored to tears. Of their three main events, the only one where I didn't start falling asleep in the middle was the one where HHH was the referee, and that's because he distracted from what was going on in the ring. If you think the guys involved are good workers, fine. Branch them off into two real tag teams and give Doane a singles push. You could even have them be an actual "frat boy" stable (instead of this stupid cheerleader BS), and have them be cocky heels that wrestle 2 on 2 and develop their own characters. The way they're booked now though, is beyond X-Pac heat. It's "oh, the Spirit Squad's main eventing again? Maybe I'll just skip Raw altogether".

    TSM Fantasy Baseball 2006

Wow, I didn't see this coming. Oh wait, yes I did. The Cranky Old Men are up where they belong in first. No time to let up though, as I'm facing the Kings of Crunk this week who are only one game behind.

Who here supports the current administration?

I'll definitely be voting libertarian in the upcoming election. I'm a fiscal conservative, and I hate the move to try to make every country socialist in terms of instituting 50%+ income taxes on the productive members of our society in order to make sure that drunks don't have to work, and people don't have to pay for health insurance. 50 years ago, I would have been a Republican. But at this point, I just hate what the party's become. Instead of focusing on the important economic issues that the party was founded on, they spend all their time pandering to Christians about ridiculous non-issues like gay marriage and protecting embryos from stem-cell research. Also, the war is a complete debacle. We had no reason to go over there, we sent too many troops, we're staying too long, and since we moved in, stability in the region has gone down by about 800%. Honestly, I think that a lot of the Muslims in that region are so crazy that they almost need an iron-fisted dictator like Saddam to keep them from blowing each other to bits. Oh, and Mexico's got it right on the drugs. It doesn't do any good to waste all the resources of the police and the prison system on non-violent offenders. You can steal $100,000 from your employer, and they probably won't even make you pay it back, but if you sell a few ounces of weed, they're going to lock you up and throw away the key.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

...but they won't win four times? Duncan's like an old man now. By game 6, his knees will be creaking loud enough for people to hear them in Mexico.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Fuck, what's up with this early morning bullshit? I wake up a little late, and I'm thinking I might have missed the first quarter of the Spurs/Mavs game, but figure I'll still see the important part. No, I missed the entire game. Since when do they put the Western Conference game on before the Eastern conference game? I don't remember that ever happening before. I guess I'll have to start checking the schedule the night before on these wacky weekend games. On the other hand, watching the Mavs lose by 2 probably would have just torn at me anyway. I guess as long as I see all four wins in the series, it doesn't really matter.

This better be the change right here. If Smush Parker plays another minute in this game, it's going to seriously tarnish Phil Jackson's legacy as a coach. When you stubbornly stick with a player who's lost all confidence in himself, and is now completely unable to make a shot, that means you're being a bad coach.

This is why I hate Skip Bayless. After going through the predictable trite argument about Kobe costing the Lakers Game 6 by taking over the scoring when they were behind, he actually argues that Kwame Brown should have been suspended for an elbow, but that Raja Bell shouldn't have been suspended for clotheslining Kobe to the ground. Apparently, swinging your arm backwards has more impact than than tackling someone by their neck.

Anyone betting the race? I'm taking Keyed Entry just because he's a long shot with good post position. The race starts in about half an hour.

    LOST

I was starting to think that maybe Henry's actually the leader of the Others, kind of like a Kaiser Soze character. Nothing he said about his background was true so far, so who's to say that it was true that the leader would kill him for failure. If he really was worthless to the Others, I doubt that they would have gone to all this effort to have Michael free him. Maybe the reason that he knew the Others wouldn't trade Walt wasn't that they didn't value Henry, but rather was because he already had this massive contingency plan in place with Michael in case the Lostaways didn't accept him. And if he was there to decide who were the "good" and "bad" people in the camp, then that would explain why he put so much effort trying to get inside the psyches of Locke, Jack, Ana Lucia, etc., etc.

Just to remind everyone: Phil Jackson coached teams are 44-0 when they take the lead in a playoff series. I really can't see him letting them lose tonight. Smush is gonna be riding the pine, the Laker role players are going to get involved, and Kobe's still going to get his 40+. I say Kobe hits a buzzer beater and the final score is: Lakers 108 Suns 106

What cold bastard would root against the Clippers? I would. Kobe's tight, and I'm going to enjoy every minute of him fucking up the Clippers. Well, I know at this point Phoenix looks like they have a good shot to win the series, but I don't see them getting by Mr. Kobe. I'm pretty sure that when the series is on the line, Kobe's going to come up with 60 and the Lakers are gonna get the job done. Oh, and for the record, when I say Mr. Kobe, it's like Mr. Koab. It rhymes with robe. It's just a cute way to say it. I know his name's Kob-eee Bryant, but I think Mr. Koab's a hell of a cute nickname.
