  1. Someone did that for Anne Hathaway in Get Smart. I'm up to March in my $1,000 PSA list. It's going to take a long time and be quite long Should I post it in here, or start a thread?
  2. Not really, given that it only fell 42 percent, despite facing a movie like the Mummy. All indications are that it will probably hit 500 million, but in the end, not beat Titanic. So that "snobby jerk" is most likely correct
  3. I really wanted to see the movie upon seeing the trailers. I love thrillers, and movies called Midnight Meat Train
  4. Skip was a homer, but he just came off like a guy who wanted the Braves to win. I don't think it muddled his commentary
  5. That's awful. I often listen to his call of the Braves winning the World Series
  6. I really want to see Hell Ride, but I don't know if it open around here. Bloody-Disgusting.com has been covering the Midnght Meat Train debacle. The closest its playing for me is 4 hours away. A bit too far for me.
  7. Yes, its half tounges/half understanding him. The crowd HATED Daizee so much that I couldn't even hear what she said
  8. Isn't the general concenssus [sic] that Flair regularly needs the money now? That's just things i've heard in passing of conversation. I think he's fine now, since I would hope he paid off all his debt to IRS and he settled his divorce. But Flair's not known for saving his money
  9. Flair will come back when he needs the money. I know ROH wanted to have him come in and shake hands with Kenta Kobashi. Flair can probably make a killing on the indy scene signing autographs and being a special ref and locking bad guys in figure 4s without taking bumps.
  10. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...d?urn=mlb,98079
  11. Midnight Meat Train opened to a PSA of only $331, though to be fair, it was playing at second-run theatres. If I have time, I'll try to compile 2008's list of under $1,000 PSAers.
  12. 43 million is second all-time behind Spider-Man. Adjusted for inflation- Titanic and Phantom Menace also beat it.
  13. Someone had to start it. 1) The Dark Knight, $43.8 million 2) The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon, $42.5 million 3) Step Brothers, $16.3 million 4) Mamma Mia!, $13.1 million 5) Journey to the Center of the Earth, $6.9 million 6) Swing Vote, $6.3 million 7) Hancock, $5.2 million 8) WALL-E, $4.7 million 9) The X-Files: I Want to Believe, $3.4 million 10) Space Chimps, $2.8 million
  14. It seems like he's been feuding with Sweet-n-Sour (or The Hangsman 3 or both) forever, and always seems to lose. His storyline with Daizee and Rhett Titus is cute. This was a great show though, Marufuji is the man
  15. The nWo-WCW angle would work a lot better if the WCW announcers didn't constantly point out how stupid WCW was and if Larry Zybysko wasn't the only guy in the WCW with balls
  16. I liked him more when he was a comedy figure. He seems to lose all the time now
  17. Domestically, but the movie was made to make a killing overseas. It will be fine
  18. Yea, those tits looked real nice in The Sweetest Thing
  19. No, there's no chance of Mummy being #1 next week, since it will fall by more than 50 percent, and TDK will not. Plus, Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder are coming out. Pineapple Express has a good chance, but Tropic Thunder will do it if Pineapple doesn't. And let's not Downhome words.
  20. Wow, 2007 was really the most profitable year for WWE? That really depresses me, since that year was horrid for the company, with the embarrassing McMahon limo angle, bastard son Hornswoggle, the Benoit tragedy, Cena getting injured and having Orton as champion. As for minor bad things, how about the bad luck Smackdown had last year, with Kennedy, Edge, and Undertaker getting injured while being involved with the MITB/title situation? It must run in the family or something. Orton's title reign was great, and I really feel they took the title off of him too soon and in the wrong match
  21. 2007 was the most profitable year in company history. The Rock did not have the kid friendly fanbase that Cena had before he turned heel, Rock was a guy they had to turn heel. Austin's heel turn was in an instant failure, since no one wanted to boo him or believe he was aligned with Vince.
  22. Pineapple might beat it, though opening on Wednesday will hurt its chances. If Pineapple can't beat, Tropic Thunder surely will
  23. I always enjoyed Titanic, fun movie. It'd be cool to see the record broken. I like tracking The Dark Knight's all-time gross adjusted for inflation
  24. Tough shit. This is a message board. You can have your opinion, and I can have my opinion that you're stupid. Everyone else on the board can share the same opinion and refute everything you say. Also, I was at the Rumble, and the pop for Cena's music and him coming out was probably the loudest of the night, for someone only popular because McMahon says so.
  25. I listed the roster to show a lack of drawing/ratings power. It had nothing to do with Cena. Pay attention. No, it still makes you wrong. And you've also never really defended the Cena argument either, since it was basically: You guys, they pipe the crowd noise. I swear. And look at this clip from ECW One Night Stand. RAW has Batista, Cena, Kane, Jericho, JBL, HBK, Punk and (probably) Rey Mysterio and Orton, when he comes back. Plus, they're trying to get over new stars as well. They're fine. If anyone is going heel it's Big Dave
