We'll agree to disagree on that.

Personally, that's how I think the folder should be.

So he must stay out of a folder that is anything goes and unmoderated. Okay, I understand.
  5. The guy is on the road nonstop promoting WWE and his various projects. That's what makes him a hard worker.

Point still remains, but feel free to ignore it. Why should we ban someone from a folder that has no rules and is supposed to be anything goes? from forum rules- This.

No, it's just that people don't have the self restraint to actually ignore posts from someone they don't like. You can come back EHME, but you can't ruin the quality discussion and excellent debates we have going on in that folder!
  8. USWA @ Memphis, TN - Mid-South Coliseum - August 23, 1993 American Eagle & Billy McCallahan defeated the Hawk & Leon Downs Miss Texas defeated Luna Vachon The Dog Catchers fought the Moondogs to a no contest Brian Christopher defeated Chris Adams; due to prematch stipulations, Christopher earned Toni Adams PG-13 defeated Jimmy Valiant & Super Mario Jeff Jarrett defeated the Vampire Warrior Jerry Lawler defeated Paul Neighbors in a stretcher match after hitting five piledrivers; prior to the bout, Vince McMahon & Pat Patterson came ringside, with McMahon cutting a heel promo on Lawler and his fans; Lawler and McMahon had several confrontations at ringside during the match; after the bout, as Neighbors was placed on the stretcher, Lawler shot a fireball in his face Lex Luger defeated WWF World Champion Yokozuna in a non-title match I met the Moondogs and Miss Texas. I didn't know King was a face in Memphis, so I got dirty looks when I chanted Burger King. I think he legally killed Paul Neighbors, who was doing a heel ref gimmick.

    Osmotic? Shut up, Czech
  11. They're starting LaBarbera tonight against the Stars. Kind of surprising since it's a big game in terms of playoff position, but Luongo's definately been looking soft lately. That was the right call. It's obvious Luongo is still tenative from the groin, so he shouldn't be playing the second night of back to backs on the road. Tough loss, but I hate Marty Turco so much. He's so annoying to watch when your team is playing him. Also, the Leafs play the Penguins again on HNIC. They just played them on the 31st!

The arguement that he made a folder called The Chocolate Socket unreadable is hilarious.
  13. Except made a lot of money. No, probably not. I'd imagine his downside guarantee wasn't that high, and since he was always low on the totem pole, he probably didn't get a lot of the cut of shows he worked on. Plus, there were times when he wasn't being used at all. Couple that with having to pay his rental care, hotel and other road expenses, and paying taxes and for health insurance if he had it, he probably didn't make out that much.
  14. Cool, Ravenbomb. I met the writer of the Wrestler and director of Big Fan on Thursday, really great guy. Talked to me for a bit about wrestling and some of the inspirations for the Wrestler.

    The NEW TSM

Huh, the things you miss when you see The International
  16. EDIT: Nevermind. London's always been a really cool guy who speaks his mind. I think he's just upset that he wasted five years of his wrestling prime in WWE and got nowhere as a result
  17. DDP debuted the week earlier
  18. Spike is happy with the TV ratings (which have held steady) and helps foot the bill for a lot of contracts. Panda Energy uses TNA as a tax write-off, and Dixie Carter seems very happy plunging money into them, especially with their recent signs of profitability. TNA is fine.

I always liked the rule that once you were banned, that's it.
  22. You need to face facts. TNA is NOT circling the drain, and they just came off a year where they turned a profit, or at least were very close to it. No. TNA has been in much worse financial shape then this, there were times when they didn't even have TV or were still doing the weekly unprofitable PPVs and Panda kept bankrolling them. Now they have Panda and Spike. They just completed a successful tour of Europe, and do decent ratings on Spike. The PPV buys aren't there, but they're in much better shape then they were when they started the monthly PPVs.
  23. Four wins in a row! No way they should've won the last two games either, this team just won't lose. Luongo's mediocrity is worrying me though
  24. I always thought Ferrell leaving was overhyped, as people had declared they were going to hate it before the season began. The Sarah Michelle Gellar show plays to near silence, but I thought a lot of the skits were hilarious. It did have that bad run, from end of 02 to early 03, but the last half of the season is very strong. Darrell in particular came through bigtime in 02-03. 02-04 is fine, but the show slipped badly in 04-05. Tina and Amy on Update was just wrong on so many levels.
  25. It's a work. Also, Jimmy was never the "guy" on SNL after Ferrell left. He mostly stuck to Update, had some impressions and the terrible skit with Horatio. Jimmy's really talented, but the shit with Horatio really overshadowed what he has to offer.
