  1. I'm just glad that Little Miss Sunshine did very well in limited release
  2. I'm surprised they didn't redo HBK v. Bulldog, b/c I think Bulldog lifted up his shoulder before the three count. I thought the match was good, and I love the rematch at KOTR
  3. The Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees have a tentative deal to send Phillies right fiedler Bobby Abreu and pitcher Cory Lidle to New York ESPN.com's Buster Olney reported Sunday. The teams had yet to decide which players or prospects will go from the Yankees to Philadelphia, Olney reported. Abreu is hitting .277 with 8 home runs and 65 RBI in 99 games. He has a career batting average of .301 with 198 home runs and 841 RBI over 10 seasons. Lidle, a right-hander, is 8-7 with a 4.74 ERA in 21 starts in 2006. In eight seasons he has a career mark of 78-69 with a 4.54 ERA. Abreu was in the Phillies' starting lineup Sunday but was pulled for Shane Victorino 10 minutes before their game with the Florida Marlins. I hate the Yankees
  4. Carlos Beltran- I hate that man
  5. Who knew a Braves v. Mets game would be so painful to watch?
  6. Already was posted, try again glenn.
  7. Excellent news about Reggie, glad the Saints didn't fuck this up
  8. From 12 back and without a soild hold on 2nd? Take care of buisness before taking tough If this was the other way Mets fans themselves would be telling the players to STFU Saying their goal is to win the division and they believe they still can is not talking tough. The Braves run their organization with the belief they will be playing deep into October. Even though I know the chances of us even winning the WC are a bit out there, I have no problem with the team beliving they can still win. Chipper got placed on the DL. This is why I didn't want them to trade Betemit
  9. I have no problem with the Braves talking about how their goal is to win the division. It should be.
  10. Swing and a miss
  11. She didn't deny doing the interview she said they twisted her words about her eating disorder. Looks like she needs to host SNL again so she can have her annual intervention
  12. naiwf's trash talking is funny.
  13. Hernandez already hit Giles early in the game.
  14. The Panthers already have Auld
  15. Because Chipper's always getting hurt, and Betemit was a more then capable replacement for him. His foot was buggering him again tonight, and I think Betemit will have been needed more then another bullpen guy
  16. What a stupid trade.
  17. And I only have the slightest inkling of who she's parodying. I think she's a fashion designer. The best stuff I can think of out of Sanz was the "Taco Hole" song and his Gene Shalit, and neither of them are very good. "Stop screaming science, you moron!" Hilarious. I can't believe you guys hate the Donatella sketch. It's been probably the best recurring character of the past decade on SNL with the Night at the Roxbury guys coming in a close second. No. Maya Rudolph never did anything remotely funny the 100 years (it seems like it) she was on SNL. Her post 12:30 am skits were awful and her leaving is a huge plus
  18. Do I lose geek points if I point out that I've never played Dungeons and Dragons?
  19. Now is your chance Spiff- Maura Tierney's Marriage Flatlines By Natalie Finn 1 hour, 8 minutes ago Sometimes there just isn't a cure for what ails you. After 13 years of marriage, Maura Tierney is looking to divorce her husband, actor-director Billy Morrissette. The couple, who have no children, have been separated since Mar. 7. The ER star--whose pregnant character, Abby Lockhart, was last seen collapsing in pain during the show's cliffhanger season finale in May--filed her petition Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In the beginning, Morrissette and Tierney shared a true Hollywood romance--they met after both being fired from a TV series that was to star Ralph Macchio (but was later scrapped, in case you were wondering). The duo tied the knot in February 1993. Morrissette, who as an actor had a number of bit parts in shows like Party of Five, Mad About You and Living Single, directed Tierney in the 2001 film Scotland, Pa. His missus played a Lady Macbeth-type villainess (named Pat McBeth, actually) who helps her husband configure a plan to murder his boss. Macbeth-style ironic tragedy ensues. After her ER shift ended this season, Tierney starred opposite Eric McCormack in the off-Broadway play Some Girls. The 41-year-old actress' film credits include Liar Liar, Primal Fear and Primary Colors, and she starred on NewsRadio from 1995 to 1999. She scored an Emmy nomination for ER in 2001. Per IMDb.com, Tierney also has two indie films in the works--The Go-Getter, costarring Zooey Deschanel and Jena Malone, and the coming-of-age comedy Diggers, with Paul Rudd and Lauren Ambrose.
  20. LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC's "The Office" is adding some new drones. Ed Helms, a correspondent on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," and Charles "Chip" Esten, formerly of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," have joined the cast of NBC's quirky comedy. Additionally, former "Boston Public" co-star Rashida Jones has landed a potential recurring role. Helms and Jones will play employees at the Scranton, Pa., regional office of the Dunder Mifflin paper supply company where the series is set. Esten will play Josh Porter, the regional manager at another branch of Dunder Mifflin. He originated the character in the "Valentine's Day" episode this past season. The stint on "The Office" reunites Helms with series star Steve Carell. Helms, who has been at "The Daily Show" since 2002, worked alongside fellow "Daily Show" correspondent Carell for three years before Carell left the hit Comedy Central series in 2005 to do "The Office." Helms also will appear in Carell's next feature, "Evan Almighty." Jones, whose recent credits include the TNT drama series "Wanted," also appeared in the feature "Little Black Book."
  21. The Milwaukee Brewers are trading slugger Carlos Lee to the Texas Rangers as part of a multi-player deal, ESPN.com learned Friday. The Brewers are sending Lee, minor-league outfield prospect Nelson Cruz and a player to be named later to the Rangers for relief pitcher Francisco Cordero and outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix. Both teams are checking for any medical issues before consummating the deal.
  22. A midget once threatened to kick my ass because he thought we were making fun of him. But he didn't, he just cursed me out. My friend was hoping he'd take a run at me since he thought it'd be funny to fight a midget.
  23. Never got my ass kicked once. No one really ever got beat up at my school. Plus I usually brought my lunch. With my mouth and the horribly offensive things that come out of it, people always say I'm going to get beat up one day. I'm still waiting.
  24. There's 2-3 different pics of me with a tampon in my mouth. I'm glad CWM appreciates my spelling.
