  1. But that would piss off the entire ROH fanbase, which is not something Gabe should do. Daniels' promo was really stupid as well, and really hurt him.
  2. That would be one of the dumbest things Gabe could ever do.
  3. No one thinks it's a shoot. And anyone who thinks people thinks its a shoot need to slap themselves. And actually, it was a pretty terrible swerve since Austin Aries looks like a major bitch. No one knows if Punk is coming back, but dicking the fans out of seeing Daniels v. Punk pissed off a lot of fans.
  4. I was at the show. The Punk thing made no sense to anyone and left a really bad taste in my mouth. That said, Lacey spit at me and some guy yelled "Camel toe!" right as the women's match was about to begin, so I got my money's worth.
  5. Will the spoiler tags be brought back?
  6. Didn't you start a thread like this a month ago? http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...1&st=&p=entry
  7. Batman Begins led the box office on Friday with an estimated $15.2M in its third day of release pushing its total to $39.4M. The Friday tally came in lower than last Friday's $18.6M launch of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, although the Caped Crusader debuted on Wednesday pulling much of its fan base out on Wednesday and Thursday. For the Friday-to-Sunday session, Batman Begins might collect $42-46M givng Warner Bros. $66-70M over five days. By comparison, openings for the last two films in the franchise were $52.8M for 1995's Batman Forever and $42.9M for 1997's Batman & Robin. Both bowed in June on a Friday.
  8. No. It was v. The Godfather on Jakked
  9. No, the Jeffersons was an All in the Family spinoff.
  10. It's not a Chris Rock Show. It's a show based on Rock's childhood, narrated by Rock. Will they be showing it after 10?
  11. I don't know what to make of that Astroboy thread. Happy birthday though
  12. Ebert's told to use star ratings, it's probably just the Sun Times Review policy.
  13. What the hell are you talking about?
  14. If Raise Your Voice can do 4 million, this can do at least 6. Universal is using the same counterprogramming that Warner Bros. used last year when they took on I Robot. Disney also did the same thing in 2003, opening Lizzie McGuire v. X2. It won't be #1 but it should be a good alternative for mothers and daughters who don't want to see Batman
  15. Batman's due to get his ass whooped. :-) Disney pushing Herbie's opening up to Wednesday and then adding a sneak preview on Sunday is pretty petty. You would think they would've gotten over the Lizzie thing by now. I'm just hoping for at least a 13 million opening and I'll be satisfied.
  16. A PSA of $3,000 isn't very good.
  17. I didn't think it would do as well as it did, b/c a lot of movies that have tabloid scandals (Eyes Wide Shut, Gigli, Proof of Life) seen to disappoint. Hell, BoxOfficeMojo is blaming Cinderella Man's steep decline on Crowe's arrest. And who here thought Honeymooners would be a hit?? Hopefully, Perfect Man does at least 13 mil next week
  18. The OAO Wrestlemania XX thread and a lot of RAW threads were deleted.
  19. I did love how Joey Styles was basically admitting it sucked. I admired the honesty
  20. I don't think Rudo goes a week without mentioning that he didn't like Benoit v. Guerrero at Vengeance
  21. One thing I loved even more about Awesome v. Tanaka was that Mike Awesome had never impressed me, ever. I thought except for one match v. Kanyon in WCW he was overrated as hell, and his WWE tenure was beyond terrible. But holy shit, he let it all out tonight. Someone was looking for a job.
  22. I thought the final brawl was really weak and they really should've focused on Tazz v. Angle more. Awesome v. Tanaka was MOTN for me. We were all laughing how Tanaka wasn't selling anything and was taking such a shitkicking. Greatness.
  23. And Barron - even if they took control of TNA. I dont care. I want those two to build a number 2 promotion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But neither have enough money to do it, so it would never happen. Yea, Angle's horrible delivery of that line and the fact that he's so uncool, made it really awesome. Orlando Jordan's hair was the highlight of the night for me.
  24. Given that Heyman doesn't have much money and RVD isn't a billionaire...they really can't do that. Sorry. That said, I kinda hope this was a one time thing. It was cool and the show was a lot of fun at times, but I think this might get old real fast.
  25. Considering I wasn't there, that's pretty interesting.
