I don't know if it was a ratings hit or anything but it did just fine. CBS decided that a CSI rerun was cheaper then new programming. Assholes -
Chavo was definetely the 6th man then. The matches always seemed to die off a little bit when he was in the ring, where as Edge more then hold his own against Eddy in their MOTYC at Unforgiven

I think that's evident with CSI:NY. CSI:NY did well, but I don't think it did as well as CBS hoped, and the buzz started to wear off on it pretty quickly. -

CBS pilots not picked up: 3 lbs Medical drama revolving around a group of brain surgeons in los angeles (This had Dylan McDermott from the Practice) The Commuters One-hour dramedy about three couples in the suburbs, the husbands of which all commute together each day on the train to New York (I thought this show would be the one to bump Joan, it had David Arquette, Jeri Ryan and Christine Taylor) Conviction Legal drama about a team of lawyers (headed by sally field) who prosecute major cases Love Monkey Drama which follows four male friends at different stages of life and love as told from the p.o.v. of a single, thirtysomething record executive (tom cavanagh) Old Christine (This one they couldn't come to terms with) comedy about a 35-year-old divorcee and business owner (julia louis-dreyfus) who lives with her brother (hamish linklater) and tries to juggle all the things on her plate, including the challenges coming from enrolling her kid (trevor gagnon) in an exclusive private school Ready, Fire, Aim comedy about two strangers who impulsively decide to marry Stoller Wars comedy about a couple (tiffany thiessen, darren ritchie) who are forced to grow up when they have kids of their own Three comedy about a newly single guy (zachary levi) who suddenly finds himself the third wheel in the relationship between his best friend (james van der beek) and the friend's wife (jama williamson) A Bruckheimer show- comedy revolves around three adult siblings - two brothers (jonathan silverman, reid scott), one sister (katherine waterston) - doing their best to deal with their eccentric, newly single father when their mother leaves him Untitled- drama which revolves around the lives of a sports agent (john leguizamo) and his wife (claire forlani), a magazine editor, as they juggle parenthood Susie Essman show- comedy stars essman as an urbanite who becomes a newlywed and stepmom in suburbia Washington Street- comedy revolves around the tenants in a modest apartment building who form a family led by a nurturing single mom (cynthia watros) -

CRIMETIME SATURDAY is probably a hell of a lot cheaper to make. Of course it is - it's a rotating wheel of CSI:X, Without A Trace and Cold Case repeats. NBC does the same thing with the three Law and Order shows on Saturdays... Wait a minute. REPEATS? If I want to watch repeats I'll wait for the DVD releases. Dumbasses. Whether you liked Joan of Arcadia or not (and I did), you've got to think being cancelled for fucking repeats is a bullshit move. It was cancelled so CBS could directly ripoff Medium, but with Jennifer Love Hewitt and celebrate as they attempt to lose the tag that CBS is for old people. What I'm saying is that they have two hours of TV of just reruns and since they are making so much money, and Joan has a very loyal and devoted fan base, why not give it another season and see what they can come up with. The world does not need CSI 10000 times a week -

"I think talking to ghosts may skew younger than talking to God." - CBS chairman Leslie Moonves Whether of not "Joan of Arcadia" deserved to be renewed, the quote above illustrates a complete disconnect between the entertainment industry and mainstream America on matters of faith and spirtuality. It's appalling. CBS is getting way too cocky. Last season, they cancelled the Guardian even though that show was doing well. They did the same thing to do the District too. I think CBS' reign will end in about 3-4 years when CSI and Without a Trace start showing their age, and people in general start getting tired of procedurals. -

I visit the futoncritic and mediaweek everyday. What can say, I'm addicted. CBS is making ridicilous profits on everything right now that adding two hours of original programming wouldn't hurt its bottom line at all. -

I missed the first half of season 2 where I heard things got bad and I agree, bringing in Annie Potts and killing Joan's friends and the suing Kevin storyline do sound stupid. But the episodes I saw starting with The Rise and Fall of Joan Girardi were all really strong episodes that made me love the show and seek out the Season 1 DVD. 3 out of the last 4 episodes (save for the transitional Spring Cleaning) were amazing. -

Joan got replaced by a show that's a direct rip-off of Medium. They ignored a 7,000 signature petition, and a massive write-in campaign from devoted loyal fans. The show ended on this big cliffhanger that's never going to be resolved. I already miss it. :-( -

The ratings for Joan weren't that bad. It always finished 1st or 2nd in its timeslot, was one of the best shows on TV, and Amber Tamblyn was the best actress on television. It's a real shame -
Khalil Greene singles on a line drive to left fielder Brian Jordan. Brian Giles scores. Ramon Hernandez to 3rd. Sean Burroughs to 2nd. Hey Al- what's wrong with Kolb?
-
Time to look for a new closer, it's obviously Kolb isn't cut out for it

But two-year drama Joan of Arcadia and six-year drama Judging Amy have been canceled. CBS this month ends its third consecutive season in first place among all viewers and has made surprisingly strong gains among young adults, where it is just behind Fox in an extremely close race. Although Joan had a loyal core audience, ratings plummeted this season as the show's focus shifted. Both Joan and Amy were among CBS' lowest-rated series among the younger viewers so sought after by advertisers. Unable to score with softer dramas such as Joan and this season's failed Clubhouse, CBS has drafted new shows that are heavy on crime, despite three CSIs, Without a Trace and Cold Case on its returning lineup. Les Moonves can go fuck himself. -
It's still not a real life tragedy. Nobody died or got crippled or anything.

Not only do we have to deal with CanadianGuitarist, we have his dumb friend too!

Saying his full name really does emphaise your point more

SVU is going to destroy it. CBS will either counteract with Juding Amy (hopefully that show doesn't get renewed) or a new drama. Joan of Arcadia is coming down to the wire. I hope CBS makes the right choice -
It's not so bad, it's just starting out so give it some time. The CE folder though is much better then at TSM
-
Saying she can't draw though is a stupid argument to make. She's never been put in a position to draw except for two RAW main events. WWE could get rid of many people and not skip a beat, just like Lita. Lita gets instant heel heat now, you might as well capitalise on it

I know it's stupid to keep arguing this, but Mike wasn't banned for what he did in CE.
