  1. She hated the hockey game we went to yesterday, so I told her she was stupid and does not deserve to breathe the same air I breathe. I didn't make a great impression.
  2. I talked to a girl who was a Yankee fan yesterday, who said she should be commended for sticking with the Yankees after last season. Yes, that actually happened.
  3. You're not disproving my argument, goldengreek
  4. I had a lot of cake on Sunday, I'm totally in it to win it.
  5. Palumbo's pretty good, and was a solid midcard hand. I really enjoyed his feud with Noble and his mini-feud with Finlay.
  6. Hockey and basketball have been four round playoffs forever. Football went from 5 to 6 teams in 1990, but has had 3 rounds for a while. Because that's the ultimate goal. That's the big payoff. That's why you suffer through season after season of getting your heart broken- in the hope that one day, a payoff comes in the form of a title.
  7. It's a harmless opening match gimmick.
  8. Everything al wrote is absolutely not true. I'm proud of my teams after they have good regular seasons, but winning the championship means everything.
  9. I think he's one of the funniest people of all time. His Tom Arnold impression kills me. Also: John Hancock? Everyone knows it's Herbie Hancock.
  10. Islander games are so hilariously depressing. It's like watching a funeral at times. I sat next to a long suffering Islanders fan, and we were laughing at some of the stuff they did out there.
  11. I don't get why we get a day off for being mean to black people
  12. Oh man, Caps v. Isles today was awesome. Such a great game to attend live. And Hilary Duff was there! Alexander Ovechkin, Jesus Christ.
  13. No, that's called professional wrestling. And goldengreek, as always, should kill himself.
  14. Nothing beyond SNL. Tommy Boy is one of the funniest films of all time. And his cameo in Billy Madison is amazing. NO YELLING ON THE BUS.
  15. It was only on 1600 screens. Once I heard that, I knew it had no chance.
  16. Dana White wasn't the owner of UFC then, and the UFC of today has nothing to do with the UFC of the mid-90s. Vince did allow Spike to air The Ultimate Fighter, which did help UFC reach its current popularity.

  18. Because Starrcade 85 was at 2 venues. They haven't done it again, because it was a logistical nightmare, and Wrestlemania 2 sucked.
  19. The fact that it was 49 minutes is kind of wonky though. And GLF didn't even time the match! They should do a match with a 60 time limit draw and fight to another draw, setting up the no-time limit third match. Just like Punk v. Joe.
  20. I just think they didn't expect ROH fans to know how to tell time. Which is a fair assumption. I wasn't at the show, but based on the timing of the other matches, you could tell they were going time limit draw. Nigel v. Black in NYC next time will be huge.
  21. But it would never ever happen, and UFC fans would shit all over it. Too many logistical nightmares. Explain this idea further. How would WWE working with any promotion boost ratings? There's only one other promotion that has TV and PPV, and there'd be no incentive for WWE to work with them. Just because it's a "surprise" doesn't make it a good idea. Dreamer winning the Rumble might seem like a nice visual, but it's such a stupid idea since Dreamer's a jobber and ECW's a third rate brand. People like Tommy Dreamer, but not in the let's shoot him to the moon kind of way.
  22. Provided the questions are not science based, I usually do pretty well on Jeopardy!.
  23. Awesome, way to go Israel! That's Persian Gulf war level ass-kicking.
  24. http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/smason/2...orious-shootin/ Chris Rock was right about going to see a movie the first week it opens
  25. The one where he broke his neck
