Polishuck retired a few years back unless he came back this season w/o my knowledge. Really cool guy though. This one guy named Chris Schliffman used to post LONG ass reviews. I don't care for the Twins much either but come on- that's an awesome story and it would be an awesome series. You can't not love that. Yankees v. Cardinals is such a boring predictable series. I don't see the Dodgers beating the Cardinals. Twins v. Yankees will be interesting. The Yankees pitching is not at all what it once was and having to face Santana twice in a 5 game series is going to be a bitch. But then again the Yankees always seem to get it together in October- should be interesting. Red Sox v. Angels is going to be tons of fun. Atlanta v. Why no interest in Twins v. Braves? That'd be a great story. One team left for dead three years ago making it to the World Series on a limited payroll. Another team expected to end its dynasty remarkably piles up another 95 win season after watching almost all their stars go away somehow makes it back. It's a rematch of what many people consider to be the best World Series ever. If that doesn't hold your interest then you shouldn't watch baseball.

They have to beat Oswalt twice and someone else once. But the Astros have to beat Jaret Wright, John Thompson and Hampton. All three of those guys have been streaking lately and will be tough to beat. I think the Braves match up better offensively and if the starters can be solid- they can toe to toe with the pen. Who is hurt though? Chipper didn't need X-Rays and is good to go. Thompson's back is troubling but their starting pitching is deep enough. Apparently Hampton is fine too. Alfonseca and Smotlz were very good and they have Colon and Cruz. Ortiz, Byrd and Ramirez are awesome coming out of the pen if needed. I'm fucking pissed at Houston and the 'stomach virus'

Uhhhhhh but why? Friday Night Lights will do well but it has a lot of competition with the postseason and football. It's going to build through word of mouth and as football excitement rises. And I don't get why you think Raise Your Voice will do so badly. Hilary's new CD and John Corbett's retirement are a lot of free press for the movie and I think it should open around ACS. It won't do 6 million.

Cox is obsessed with going 3 man rotations which I never get. The Braves don't sweep series anymore. At least go with Wright, Thompson, Ortiz and Hampton. He also overmanages and uses his bench way too much
