No one is disregarding his heroics. But because he served 5 years in a POW camp does not give him carte blanche. In the example Mike CITED he believes McCain should grow thicker skin in the matter. It has nothing to do with Vietnam. What's with liberals and wanting to use Vietnam every 5 seconds to make a political point?
-
What does his service in Vietnam have anything to do with it? So because McCain served in Nam- Mike can't criticise him on anything? Warped logic there duder.

1) I'm 19. I turn 20 in about two months. I don't go to clubs or anything so dealing with bouncers should be no problem. 2) Thanks for the advice- I'll keep it in mind. 3) She's 15! Or 14. We're just friends. I don't think it'd work

I live near an arts theatre and every Tuesday they only charge $6 for a flick so I try and go every Tuesday to see it. Napoleon Dynamite is the only thing I'm interested in. All I know is that it did well at Sundance and it has Hilary's sister. Ebert hated it. (Gave it *1/2). So I'm sceptical. But at $6 and only 80 minutes- I don't mind checking it. Bourne and Collateral look to be the late summer sleeps. Those were two really good movies so I'm happy to see that. I saw Vanity Fair. It was very well done but you just can't turn William Maypeace Thackery's 800 page novel into a 2 hr movie. Character development was very week and the characters never aged. The acting was well done and they did a perfect job of capturing 19th century England- it just had too many problems for me to really like it. Vanity Fair is one of those movies that needs lots of critical acclaim to do well and it didn't get it. It won't make that much money

The one and only. I hate her- she has no actual talent and is just trying to do anything she can to make some money off Hilary. The two songs she wrote for Metamorphosis are the two worst songs on the album. She needs a nose job badly

Spiderman 2 will top out at #9. Not bad. I'm going to see Napoleon Dynamite on Tuesday. I HATE Hailey Duff but it's the only movie at my arts cinema I'm interested in seeing

My friend paid $500 for Mind Games since it was the last tape he needed to complete his collection

Also.... Why does my PI go down every week. The game doesn't tell me there's anything I need. It's very annoying

We met doing standby for SNL. We both enjoy going to improv on Sunday nights so I often see her there and that's where the picture was taken. Most of my NY friends are related to SNL. I know it's sad

So his matches are discounted because he worked with great workers? Watch the match with Eddy again- Brock pretty much carries the match and was the main reason it was a MOTYC. The three you listed can drag someone to a good match but it takes two people to get a ****+ MOTYC He also had good matches with Big Show, Chuck Palumbo and others. And in fairness to Brock he was pretty much facing Angle and the Big Show every week in 2003 so he didn't work against many people.

Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were moreover because of their DX association and saying naughty words. Godfather is nothing but cheap heat. Billy Gunn was injured most of 2000. And then he got the IC Title. Road Dogg was always a big part of the scene for the first half of 2000. T&A was a midcard tag team. Too Cool and Rikishi were very over- and good workers. Creative couldn't get the guys I mentioned over so they weren't used- period. What did he do in TNA? Well, he's over to start with...something he wasn't in WWF2000. Considering the buyrate and ratings info that I just gave you- you're wrong. Same thing...1999 it was McMahon/Rock vs. Austin. 2000 it was McMahon/HHH vs. Rock. That just filler- it never took up too much TV time. Wrong. He teamed with Taker and Rock to take on HHH and the McMahond. The feud was stupid but you're argument is that he was depushed. He wasn't. The buildup to KOTR was weak but the product picked up big time after that. The ratings and buyrates speak for itself. It was great because every week we were getting ***-**** matches. Who cares if it wasn't the best storyline ever? It had good WRESTLING on a WRESTLING show My bad..it was a shitty ending. A feud that could have gone on for 6 months ending like crap because creative couldn't do anything with it. And it fucking sucked and was pointless. I like Y2J a lot more today

No I wasn't at all. Had McEnroe been really nice to me it would've weirded me out

I said I liked his show or something like that. He was kind of a dick so I didn't get a chance to talk to him much. I was also still in shock since I had just met Tim Meadows. Meeting him had been a dream of mine since I was 12.
-
Ditto Lance Storm. Lance Storm didn't beat HHH. They had a match right after Judgement Day 2002 where HHH sold a lot for him and gave him a lot of offence. He still won though

Official: U.S. Capture of bin Laden Close Sat Sep 4, 1:38 PM ET By MATTHEW PENNINGTON, Associated Press Writer ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - The United States and its allies have moved closer to capturing Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) in the last two months, a top U.S. counterterrorism official said in a television interview broadcast Saturday. "If he has a watch, he should be looking at it because the clock is ticking. He will be caught," Joseph Cofer Black, the U.S. State Department coordinator for counterterrorism, told private Geo television network. Asked if concrete progress had been made during the last two months — when Pakistan has arrested dozens of terror suspects including some key al-Qaida operatives — Black said, "Yes, I would say this." Black, who briefed a group of Pakistani journalists after talks with officials here Friday, said he could not predict exactly when bin Laden and other top al-Qaida fugitives would be nabbed. "What I tell people, I would be surprised but not necessarily shocked if we wake up tomorrow and he's been caught along with all his lieutenants. That can happen because of the programs and infrastructure in place," he told Geo. Bin Laden and his top associate, Ayman al-Zawahri, are believed to be hiding some place along the rugged border between Pakistan and Afghanistan (news - web sites). Officials have divulged no solid intelligence about bin Laden's precise whereabouts, and it's not clear if they have any. Pakistan is a key ally of the United States in its war on terror, and Black's visit comes weeks after Pakistani security forces captured Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian wanted for the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in east Africa, and Mohammed Naeem Noor Khan, a Pakistani computer expert allegedly linked to al-Qaida operatives around the world. The arrests led to a terror warning in the United States, and arrests in Britain and the United Arab Emirates. Black attended a meeting of the Pakistan-U.S. Joint Working Group on Counterterrorism and Law Enforcement in Islamabad on Thursday and Friday. During the talks, Pakistan asked U.S. officials for more helicopters, surveillance and communications equipment to help Pakistani forces guard border areas near Afghanistan "more efficiently," a Pakistani official at the talks said. "We got a positive response from the American officials," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Pakistan has deployed about 70,000 troops along the Afghan border and conducted several military operations this year in its lawless and largely autonomous tribal regions against al-Qaida suspects and their local supporters. Black hailed Pakistan's efforts in counterterrorism — despite criticism from Western officials who say that elements of the former ruling Taliban regime in Afghanistan still operate inside Pakistan. "In terms of national programs and effectiveness, I would put Pakistan up against anyone else ... If you look at the arrests they have made, the information they have developed and the lives that have been saved, Pakistan is doing a great job," he said. He added, however, that, "you can always do more."

The same Brock that was turned face after he finally got over as a heel and then was turned heel a few months later after he bombed as a face, Lesnar the one dimensional pro-wrestler with the boring mic skills and flying on his own plane while everybody else was flying coach in a regular plane while buyrates and ratings were still low, yeah, Lesnar was a great WWE success. Considering he went from a green guy getting Goldberg chants to becoming one of the best workers in the company in less then 2 years- saying he was anything but a success is a pretty stupid thing to say. Brock was turned face in November 2002. He turned heel in August 2003. That's not a few months

Just curious- what's the source on all this?

Seeing as how Kerry got no bump from the convention- the Democrats plan of 'play nice' didn't seem to work. George Bush is running against John Kerry so I think they have to attack him and try to convince the American voter that he's not the man for the job

Zell Miller scares me. A lot. How is he a Democrat?
