  1. I rank them- 1. HHH v. Rock 2. ROH 4-way 3. Brock v. Angle 4. HBK v. Bret Brock v. Angle has way too much stalling in the beginning but the last 20-30 minutes is amazing stuff that had me out of breath watching it live
  2. I enjoy really long matches- there's a lot to look for and analyse. Of course sometimes they will end up being dreadfully dull (Xavier v. Daniels from ROH is an example) but there are long matches like War Games 92 and Angle/Benoit v. Rey/Edge that just seem to fly by and don't seem to be 20+ minutes
  3. I love Rock v. HHH and I totally agree with you Zsasz. The last half hour with all the different finishers was brilliant and everyone wondering when/if HBK would turn was a nice backstory. Jerry Lawler also showed what he can do on commentary when told not to act like a horny old man. He was focused on the match itself and put over the match and Rock/HHH thanks to his commentary.
  4. You don't think seeing Dunn and Marcos win for the first time is must see? I see your point- I loved the 4-way, the title match and the main event. I thought AJ v. Sabin and Raven/Daniels v. SCS was a bit of a letdown. I think going to Philly is pretty stupid- they're just going to burn everyone out like they did in 2002 with the Philly wars. The West Coast seems to only have PWG and I think they would do well there even though airfare would be a bitch. I can understand them being a bit miffed- (the website stuff is stupid) but what promotion hasn't lifted stuff from another one? I just think calling for a boycott is a tad silly since you'd be hurting a lot of the wrestlers who work ROH. I know Jack is cool with everyone but isn't everyone going to want to beat the holy fuck out of Teddy the first chance they see him
  5. I liked Wrestlerave a lot Rob. Homicide v. Acid is awesome and top to bottom it's a great show. The crowd was hot all night and nothing sucks. I can understand ROH being a bit upset but they just have to accept and deal with competition. The only reason I'm pissed about the MLW thing is I won't be there to see it
  6. Marcus is a really cool guy but I disagree with him here. He's a major ROH shill though so it's not surprising
  7. I agree with TC- I think taking away post counts wouldn't really do anything to stop the stupid shit that goes in Hardcore Folder.
  8. Green Bay Miami Chicago Houston N.Y. Giants Cincinnati St. Louis Indianapolis Carolina Baltimore New Orleans Seattle Denver Kansas City Tampa Bay Tennessee Giants: 20 pts
  9. Yes- The OC is OK. Stan Hooper was preempted last week because of the OC
  10. Fully Loaded 2000- lots of main events on RAW and SD! I'm sure he's more over then he was when he came in- the increased visibility helped. Well he got a t-shirt out of it I wouldn't wear 99.9% of WWE's shirts. Well given that they had played hot potato with the title leading up to Fully Loaded putting the title on Benoit would've been stupid anyway. But they did what they could to make people think Benoit had a chance. Better position now. When he debuted he was a midcarder feuding with Too Cool and Rikishi. Now he's being prepped for a Brock feud. Storm has never been put over the way Eddy was the last time SD! was in Philly. I liked the Val Venis feud and the Radicalz feud It happened around Summerslam- wasn't memorable or anything but I liked it. He also got a Cheat 2 Win shirt and other merchandise from WWE. Until he ran into Big Show they were doing something with him. October 2003 really killed him. He went to SD! and put on great match after great match before finally being rewarded- until he ran into Show
  11. It kinda did though. It was a RAW that focused on in ring wrestling for the first time in a while. They were pushed to a main event feud against the Power Trip but injuries to HHH and Benoit kinda mucked it up. Well they did get good pops. Benoit doesn't count since he was hurt. Again- Benoit got hurt. Jericho did eventually break the walls down by winning the title and being put over by Rocky until HHH and Austin wandered in. It's not their fault that the WWF cut out the legs from under them right before the PPV. I will hail a WWF show if for 2+ hours it entertains the hell out of me and produces some great wrestling. Just like I'll hail TNA if they do the same. And many RAW and SD!s have been leaps and bounds above a TNA show. I'd say so- Also factoring in the price of a TNA show and the price of a RAW and SD! WWE isn't perfect- But I was very displeased with many of the TNA shows I watched over the summer.
  12. The show is airing once in December. Simple Life, Billboard Awards, Anatasia and Arrested Development are pre-empting it
  13. The feud with Y2J over who had the better submission hold- and I enjoyed the Rock feud, He had the Victim of the Crossface shirt. They did stack the deck against the Rock to make people think Benoit would win, They've done a lot with him. They've done some poor things for him but there are times when they do push him correctly I think the fact that he was a huge drug addict kind of hurt a lot of his pushes. I liked the Val Venis feud and the Radicalz feud The Latino Heat shirt. Again- The fact that he was injury prone and not sober probably hindered any push he had. I remember that match against the Rock he has in 2002 where he had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Great stuff
  14. Wow- Choken is more optimistic then me
  15. The undercard featured- A great Matt v. X-Pac match Great promos from Stone Cold and Jericho A funny segment with Kurt A solid tag match with Dudz v. Hollys A hot tag match with Eddy/Jeff v. E-n-C match The main event match was more then solid. It was fourteen minutes of flawless tag team wrestling that put Jericho and Benoit over HUGE. With Jim Ross having a heart attack at ringside and the crowd going bonkers- they truly looked like world beaters. It's not their fault that the WWF cut out the legs from under them right before the PPV. And many RAW and SD!s have been leaps and bounds above a TNA show. The September 26th, 2002 SD! for example Or the May 24th SD! and it goes on and on
  16. Benoit got a main event slot at Fully Loaded 2000 and Unforgiven 2000. He was put in a high profile match at No Mercy. That's long before 2003. And Eddy is not a good example because of his drug problems. And please learn how to use the quote button
  17. MIKE JOHNSON PRESENTS THE TEDDY HART POP QUIZ by Michael K Johnson II 11/26/2003 4:06:00 PM Ah, Teddy Hart. The greatest high flyer ever. The man who will go to WWE one day. The man who has already made a million dollars in wrestling (He said it, not me!). The man who sells his tights on Ebay for a cool grand. Hart has put the entire wrestling Internet community in an uproar with his poor man's Brian Pillman act, but more importantly nearly the entire crew of his former co-workers in the Ring of Honor locker room have been angered as well, to the point that 100% of those who have commented have spoken out against Hart's actions and torn him a new sphincter in the process. In case you missed out on all the fun and action, here's a quick quiz to bring everyone up to date on Teddy Hart, he of many concussions, backflips, and clothing changes: 1)Teddy Hart did the moonsaults off the top of the ROH Scramble Cage without telling anyone who was going to catch him ahead of time, injuring one worker, and upsetting others because: A) No wait, he had a concussion.... B) Er....He does it for the fans.... C) He does it to honor Uncle Owen's Memory D) All of the above, since he said all three versions in different statements/radio appearances since. 2)Teddy Hart's first reaction when he realized he was in trouble with ROH's management and locker room was: A) Claim to have a concussion, minus the bump or glassy eyes. B) Have his father and/or Dave Penzer call ROH numerous times in the days afterward to pitch a "Loose Cannon" character out of the situation. C) Send out an apology statement using one of the above answers as his reason for the moonsaults. D) Go visit MLW's office in NYC and do his "Loose Cannon" character there instead when the collective efforts of A,B, and C fail to get him back into ROH. 3)Teddy Hart was so concerned about the state of Azrael, who he hurt hitting a 450 moonsault without calling the spot, Hart: A) Ignored him after the fact. B) Didn't apologize for hurting him. C) Claimed everyone in the match was concerned more about Hart's condition than anyone else. D) Referred to him as the "130 lb. Mexican" in an online interview. 4)Teddy Hart's excommunication from the locker room didn't really happen, according to Hart. We know this because: A)His bags didn't really go flying out of the locker room. B)Samoa Joe and the Carnage Crew, among others, weren't screaming at him. C)The entire roster wasn't still angry over an hour later after the show. D) The ultra-classy AJ Styles wasn't among those blamed by Hart, especially since he had nothing to do with the situation. 5)Teddy Hart was quick to blame Steve Corino for all the problems in ROH, since Corino, after all: A) Wasn't involved in the match or the incident. B) Stayed out of the backstage situation. C) Grabbed Samoa Joe away from Hart and yelled at Joe to worry about the next match- theirs- instead of Hart. D) Didn't comment on any of this until Hart made Corino a scapegoat for something he wasn't involved with during a radio appearance. 6)Teddy Hart also outed CM Punk's alleged drug use. This happened because: A) Punk had nothing whatsoever to do with the match or the situation afterward. B) Hart wants the legimately straight edge Punk to clean up his wayward ways. C) Punk, unlike Hart, has a regular gig in NWA TNA. D)Punk ripped apart Hart completely to shreds after, like Corino, Punk was pulled into a situation he had nothing to do with, by (you guessed it) Teddy Hart's comments on a radio show. 7)Ted Hart's latest antics include offering to fly Steve Corino and CM Punk to Canada for a shoot fight because of Hart's credentials include: A) Being the Grandson of the late, great Stu Hart, who "never stretched Ted", according to Ted. B) Punching a heckling fan in the crowd (Hey, he spit at me) at a Calgary Stampede wrestling card. C) He's a Hart....er....Annis...er.... D) The ability to do backflips when he has a concussion. 8)Teddy Hart wants to call himself the "Loose Cannon" now because: A) Brian Pillman did it and made a name for himself, on national TV and PPV, as opposed to the Internet. B) Brian Pillman created a bidding war for himself, during a time when there were two national companies, as opposed to the one left that has no interest in Hart. C) He watched that movie about Andy Kaufman. D) He suffered another concussion. 9)Teddy Hart is going to WWE. We know this because: A) "If God wants it to happen, it will." - Teddy Hart. B) He was booted twice from development deals. C) Hey, Bret and Vince ARE talking again. D) He wasn't allowed backstage last time WWE was in Calgary. 10) In 100 words of less, describe Teddy Hart's first reaction when he steps into a locker room with CM Punk, Steve Corino, or a host of other wrestlers he's upset with his brash claims, offers to shoot, comments about their signifigant others, and their alleged drug use. 11)EXTRA CREDIT: Using a stopwatch, properly estimate the amount of seconds before the phrase "It was only a work, fellas" is uttered during the conversation. 18. Tonight's Stan Hooper- (from fakenews.net) Writen By: Michael Lisbe & Nate Reger Directed By: Jeff Melman Stan goes along with the boys on the traditional Waterford Falls turkey-hunting trip. Much to Stan's dismay, Molly, a creative but terrible cook, volunteers to help cook Thanksgiving dinner, locks herself in the pantry and Chelsea cooks the meal herself to ensure a great turkey dinner.
  19. Pete Myers- Isn't he the guy who replaced MJ when he retired for the first time?
  20. He also had to take a non gimmicked guitar shot as one final FU to him
  21. It's their fault for not having their affairs in order before a PPV. Jarrett had every right to do what he did and I don't blame him for it at all.
  22. Jarrett didn't hold them up for money to drop the title. His contract had ended so he could do whatever the hell he wanted to. Blame Vince and JR for being careless
  23. Not that I remember- I know he talked about how sad he was about Liz dying
  24. He has the bookend and the axe kick and occasionally the hangover
  25. Well that's because Ray's an ass. You can have an argument on good v. bad worker if you present your argument in a good way
