  1. But you say you think he should've banned- Yet none of the rules you thought up or none of the rules currently would support this banning. I think Dames is being way too hard on himself if he thinks at- The Diatribes are still top quality. I didn't mind Tim Cooke- He was very helpful when it came to ROH
  2. Okay- I misinterpreted that. I still don't see how ratting out dealers to Rob Feinstein is wrong. I think he would like to know. Here's an idea- Don't ban people for running to Rob Feinstein when someone in a TSM article plugs other tape dealers. Tim didn't do that. Tim didn't do that. The rules are fine as they are now Considering that despite being unemployed he's still paying for the site and he devotes a lot of his time writing his Diatribes I think saying he doesn't give a shit anymore is a bit insulting.
  3. Jingus didn't ban him. What did Tim did was scummy- it was not wrong. How is reporting to an owner of a wrestling federation that his tapes are being sold illegally something 'wrong'? Why do you think he should be banned? For breaking a non-exsistant rule? No there doesn't need to be new rules. People like Tim just shouldn't be banned for stupid reasons
  4. You just figured that out now?
  5. I agree with Ripper- Arlington Road left me numb and disturbed at the end.
  6. Good luck Flik- I hope for the best.
  7. Hah- thanks Bruj0. That thread owns
  8. This coming from someone who said they were leaving the thread a long time back. Guess you have such a great life as well.
  9. Because I think Tim's banning is a load of shit. What he did was kind of scummy but he all did was point out to Rob that there unauthorised people selling ROH tapes. So instead of attacking Jay on the board for what he did- he informed the owner of the company that's getting screwed by this. Because he did nothing wrong. I didn't know informing tape owners that someone was bootlegging their tapes is a bannable offence. Tim never broke one of the official rules and regulations- you just used one of the rules at the end
  10. Whether he did it or not- Tim broke no rule
  11. Considering the board has been around for less then two years- how has Jingus been a good mod for years? And anyone can say they have secret sources.
  12. You asked for post count back. You then said you were just kidding to reinforce a joke that was never funny to begin with and isn't funny now. Same thing Tim is doing (except for the unfunny joke part)
  13. Look, he got a message from someone about it No he didn't- where in the IM convo did he say he ratted out Jay to Rob? Read treble charged's post. I still want to know what rule Tim broke or where in that IM convo he said he ratted out Jay to Rob
  14. BPP- What rule did Tim break? Where did Tim admit to emailing Rob and causing Rob to send emails ShooterJay?
  15. I still don't see where Tim broke a rule in any of those points that would neccessitate a banning. Nor in any of those 7 points do I see why you would want someone DEAD Jingus
  16. Also- Tim never even admitted to ratting out Emo or Jay to RF. He just said that in general he rats out tape dealers to RF. He never specificially said he ratted out anyone Jay mentioned in his review or Jay himself.
  17. Yes. But many people argue that Rob is a very wealthy man and because of the strong gates- The bootleggers don't really cripple him
  18. Naitch- Jay did a review where he lashed out at something RF Video did and plugged some of his friends sites who sell ROH tapes. His friends get contacted by RF and have their stuff taken down. Jay assumes its Tim and uses AIM to prove it. There ya go
  19. I'll drop it after this- 1)No he didn't. ROB FEINSTEIN did. 2)Okay fair enough 3)I thought we had the rules and regs so people would know what they could and couldn't do. What's the point of rules and regs if people get banned for something not mentioned in them. 4)Yes he is, Yes he did. And Jingus is prone to overreacting and taking everything way too seriously.
  20. Who knows- but Tim just informed Rob that there were people selling ROH tapes "illegally"- I don't see how that amounts to a banning. Rob took it from there. Well that's your fault for being careless and telling Rob to go fuck himself. Tim's an asshole but he didn't break one rule. He did nothing "wrong" and shouldn't have been banned.
  21. Tim just told RF what was going on. It's not like Tim made him threaten Jay with a lawsuit
  22. Why should Eddy be punished? He's a recovering alcoholic who has very strong feelings about alcohol- and some asshole pours beer on him. In no way should he be fined
  23. No he doesn't. Eddy was in the right here
  24. The Rundown," a comedy adventure in which Johnson plays a bounty hunter on the run in the Brazilian (news - web sites) jungle, sold about $18.5 million worth of tickets in its first three days since opening on Friday. The $85 million film was released domestically by Universal Pictures, a unit of Vivendi Universal SA, which partnered on the project with Sony Corp (NYSE:SNE - news) (news - web sites).'s Columbia Pictures, which will distribute it internationally. The top 10 contained two other new releases, both from divisions of Walt Disney Co. . Touchstone Pictures' "Under the Tuscan Sun," a romance skewed to the female audience starring Diane Lane (news), grossed an impressive $9.4 million, tying at No. 2 with last weekend's champion, Sony's supernatural thriller "Underworld." Disney executives said they were "absolutely thrilled" with the bow, especially given that the film opened in a modest number of theaters -- 1,226 vs. 3,152 for "The Rundown." The film will add a few hundred theaters next weekend. On the other hand, Miramax Films' "Duplex," a dark comedy starring Ben Stiller (news) and Drew Barrymore (news), opened at No. 7 with a disappointing $4.6 million from 2,189 theaters. The actors play a New York couple at war with their elderly neighbor. Danny DeVito (news) directed the film, which cost in the $40 million range. OVERALL TICKET SALES SLIDE Rounding out the top five were two films released last weekend, both squeezed down two places by the new arrivals. New Line Cinema's family adventure "Secondhand Lions," starring Michael Caine (news) and Robert Duvall (news), dug up $8.3 million. Paramount Pictures' "The Fighting Temptations," a musical comedy starring Cuba Gooding (news) Jr. and Beyonce Knowles (news), tuned in with $6.5 million. Their respective totals rose to $23.5 million and $20.2 million. "Underworld" rose to $37 million, also after two weekends. New Line is a unit of AOL Time Warner Inc., while Paramount is a unit of Viacom Inc . The overall box office ended a two-week winning streak as sales for the top 12 films totaled $79 million, according to tracking firm Exhibitor Relations. The tally was down 12 percent from last weekend and down 14 percent from the year-ago period when the Reese Witherspoon (news) comedy "Sweet Home Alabama" was tops with $36 million. New releases next weekend include the rock 'n' roll comedy "The School of Rock" and the Denzel Washington (news) thriller "Out of Time." The $18.5 million debut for "The Rundown" was in line with industry expectations, although some pundits had forecast a possible bow in the $20 million range. It also pales against the surprisingly strong $36 million opening of Johnson's last movie, "The Scorpion King," in April 2002. That movie benefited both from being a spin-off from the hit "Mummy" franchise, and from opening in the early summer. Universal distribution president Nikki Rocco said word of mouth on the well-reviewed movie was "fantastic," and she was also impressed by its broad demographic appeal, with 47 percent of the audience aged over 25. The film co-stars Christopher Walken (news), Seann William Scott (news) and Rosario Dawson (news).
