  1. The last scene sucked, totally unecessary. I really enjoyed this film, and thought it was a lot of fun. Seeing Ramona from Big Bang Theory topless was a nice touch. And Darcy from Darcy's Wild Life gets
  2. I'm not posting to get a reaction, I'm posting the truth. Florida and Duke? Come on. Unless you have family connections to both schools, that might be ok
  3. Wow, Cowboy Numbers is terrible.
  4. Now THAT'S the Tigers I know and love.
  5. Doneal Mack!!! I love that guy. DUCK DUCK DUCK GREY GOOSE!
  6. I didn't read most of your post, because of my hatred for lowercase posting. It was originally supposed to focus more on the actual behind the scenes of a sketch comedy show, with the skits playing a heavily emphasis on the show. But with Studio 60 also premiering, they decided to scale back on the skits. Originally the skits would be featured on the website, which is one of the reasons they hired Rachel Dratch to play the Jenna role. Jack Donaghy was only supposed to be a reoccuring character, but they refused to give the pilot a greenlight without Baldwin. The first half of season 1 was a workplace comedy. It was usually Baldwin meddling in Tina's show, and her attempting to do the show, while dealing with his meddling and Tracy being insane. And it was really funny. Then they moved to Thursdays and just got desperate. That's when the cameofests and out there plots began, and I lost interest. 30 Rock tries to do these story arcs that are usually so bad, since I just don't care about the characters or what happens to them. The whole Cleveland storyline, Floyd, Tracy being investigated by some black group, Elaine Stritch, the who runs GE storyline, the Geis family, Will Arnett, Matthew Broderick and the Dick Cheney mess- terrible. They have a lot of funny lines that individually make it seem like it's this great show, but actually watching the show can sometimes be a chore. I don't mind Jam, and it seems like since the Super Bowl they've curbed the weekly breakup tease. Jam's given us some great moments throughout the years. Andy and Dwangela was great, simply because of Ed Helms. They've explained numerous times why Michael has not been fired. While he's an idiot with the attention span of a child, he's shockingly great at his job, which is selling paper. The Scranton branch is the top branch in the company, and he's shown himself numerous times to be an excellent salesman. Thus, the company puts up with most of his antics. Remember, they were going to close the Scranton branch, until Michael lucked out when Josh Porter bailed for Staples.
  7. I always wanted a stand-up comedian to play my funeral and do really offensive and uncomfortable jokes.
  8. As I've said before, I liked 30 Rock when it was more of a workplace sitcom, instead of turning into a place of celebrity cameos and outlandish plots that serve no purpose. Like the Larry King episode, which was just bad. Or all those episodes they spent on Don Geis and Donaghy trying to run NBC- it's just cringeworthy bad at times. The show has gotten funnier, and I've enjoyed some episodes recently, but it's nowhere near the level of The Office. A lot of those episodes just seem like they're throwing random jokes and plots at the wall and hoping they'll stick
  9. The match is decent, but watching 68,000 people sit on their hands while TRIPLE H'S CAREER COULD END IN AN INSTANT BAH GAWD just kills it. Watching some of Rock v. Hogan again today, everything from the first Rock Bottom to the end is perfection. That's what wrestling is all about.
  10. I don't think Dwayne has put WWE in the past. Why should he be associated with them anymore? Wrestling is such a scummy business and he's trying to make it as a leading man. I wouldn't come back if I were him.
  11. I know people who left X-8 after Rock v. Hogan. It was all they wanted to see. All my friends left after Rock v. Hogan too. I agree that if HHH v. Jericho didn't involve a dog, maybe it should've gone on last but still, Rock v. Hogan is a match of the century. JR going into JR hyperbole mode for HHH v. Jericho was hilarious since the crowd was dead
  12. I have to disagree with you Kamala on the title match going on last. Even before Wrestlemania X-8 it was obvious that Rock v. Hogan was completely above anything else in terms of buildup, especially Jericho v. HHH. There was no reason for Jericho v. HHH to go last, except for Triple H to have his moment in the sun. Given that they laid out Rock v. Hogan weeks in advance, they had to know it was going to be over huge. Look at the ending, with Rock and Hogan walking to the back and Rock having this look of amazement on his face. That's the perfect way to close the show. What?? HHH being really fucking good has nothing to do with it. There was no reason for him to win the match or to have the McMahon clusterfuck that closed the show. I agree that HHH was awesome at this time, but him winning the match just killed the show for everyone. I remember the next day, everyone was shitting on this show. Why? HHH won.
  13. And in the DID YOU KNOW department, Jericho was originally supposed to be the final person Brock eliminated, but the injury to his eye halfway through the match caused concern in the back and they called an audible to have him eliminated. The original final four was going to be Jericho, Brock, Kane, and Undertaker. If I remember correctly, Brock was going to get taken out of the action by Kane and Undertaker with a double chokeslam. Kane and Undertaker would then have a big brawl and then both guys would be dumped by Jericho. Brock and Jericho would go at it for a little bit. Brock would get the better and dump Jericho with a clothesline, only Jericho would hold to the bottom rope and only one foot would hit the ground. Sound familiar? It’s the Shawn Michaels ‘95 finish. Brock’s music would hit, he would celebrate, Jericho would get back into the ring and shove Brock out… only Brock would hang on and F5 Jericho out of the ring. That would have been an awesome finish, but Jericho’s goosebump above his eye was deemed to dangerous to allow him to continue. Too bad. And again, it didn’t look that bad. Anywho, that’s the story behind the lame ending to the Rumble.) Someone wrote that at SK's blog. Is that true?
  14. I don't see how X-8 is overrated, since the consensus is that it's a medicore show with Rock-Hogan blowing everything away.
  15. Damn, Steamboat was jakked.
  16. I love Cena and all, but he needs to shut up. I know he's just parroting the company line, but he comes off like an idiot
  17. 1. Goldengreek 1. cabbageboy 1. RoHo 2. Enigma
  18. With the amount of years he's gonna have to keep playing, that record is unbreakable.
  19. 30 Rock is too hit and miss. Some of their episodes (The Larry King one off the top of my head) are just awful and cringeworthy. The Office delivers a consistent outing week in and week out, with gems being thrown in like last week's episode and the Super Bowl episode
  20. Why should they give them a chance? Maybe because one of them almost broke his neck for their entertainment only the year before? I shouldn't be surprised. Wrestling fans do tend to have a "What have you done for me lately?" mentality when it comes to giving a damn. But the audience knew both men were leaving after the match, the match itself had a terrible build, no one likes Goldberg anyway. Why should they care about a match that was 100% meaningless? I don't blame Lesnar for quitting or Goldberg for leaving, but I also don't blame the crowd for crapping all over the match
  21. No, it really hasn't. Not by a longshot, especially with how amazing The Office was yesterday. Yesterday's episode was decent. Tracy, Jr. went on for too long, and Tracy wasn't as funny as he usually is. Jon Hamm's reaction to losing at tennis was great
  22. I'm down for next week's roundtable, if you need someone. Why should they give them a chance? They knew both guys were leaving, it was a terrible feud, and MSG's not going to root for Goldberg. I was at this show, and thumbs in the middle is absurd. I agree that it was WAY too long, but the main event is just perfect.
  23. Haha, Tennessee always disappoints in the tourney.
  24. Luongo got his first shutout since he came back from injury. Finally!
  25. Tie Domi fucked Belinda Stronach, he must have a big dick
