Aren't they paid well in New York? Assemblymen and Senators make $100K, but you make peanuts everywhere else. But as someone who deals with this people on a daily basis, it's just not worth the grief. And hey, if that gets Hillary out of New York...I'm all for it.

But how does Christian coming in and immediately winning a C-level belt help him any good? I don't think he'll ever be a main eventer, but give him a chance on RAW or Smackdown before shipping him off to ECW.

Current Events is supposed to have mostly hands-off moderating anyway.

Not really. ECW's a C-level brand, and Christian winning that title would brand him as a midcarder

You kind of do though, since the reason they started not making the shows all about elimination matches is because the novelty wore thin.

Taker winning his 100th title and Kane winning a meaningless belt would not be something that WWE uses to replace the Benoit/Guerrero moment.
