I was watching the Piper/Valentine chain match just now, and found myself yelling at the ref for activiley interfering in a NO DQ match. A testament to how good it wsa, if it was able to suck in a smark like me.

I'm not goign to bother reading the whole thread, but everybody who hated this angle, consider this- it isn't the first time they've tried something like this. Not 'terrorists', to be sure, but the Arab heel using his religion and ancestral heritage to get heet. They did the same damn thing back in the 70's early 80's with the Iron Sheik and Ayatola Blassie, right around the time Americans were being held hostage in Iran.

Exactly. The guy wanted to persue a dream. He did, it failed, and now he wants back in. He's not the first person to do it- see also Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and probably more that I can't think of right now.

Picked this up yesterday after the Walmart I went to told me they wer out of the Roadwarriors DVD. They only ordered 5, damn them.\ Anyways, this is pretty good stuff. Much more enjoyable than anything they put on today on Raw. And I especially loved the Steamboat interview, when he tells everybody that he and Savage went out there to steal the show.

I'm suprised they let the Dudley's go, though it makes sense. There was nothing more for them to do. I'm also shocked at Janetty being released, as he seemed to earn a new contract with his performance. Why bother giving him the contract if they were just going to release him anyways?

Which means he'll go to Raw. WWE logic...

Dr. Doom would fry Vader's circuits. And a Jedi could easily kick a Klingon's ass. Especially Worf, as he was the most ineffective chief of security EVER.

I'm suprised they got rid of Maven, seeing as he was a real home-grown (sort-of) star. As for the others, no big shocker.

This is a difficult one. Voldemort is supposed to be very powerful, and held his own against Dumbledore. On the other hand, Yoda is old, powerful, and can bounce around like a pinball on speed. In the end, I'd give this to Voldemort- all it would take is one well-placed killing curse, while there is no gauntee that he would stay dead if Yoda killed him. Another close one. I'd give it to Dumbledore, as it would seem he is more powerful than Palapatine (or at least holds more tricks up his sleeve), but his hesitation to kill Palpatine would lead to the Emperor frying him like MAce. Winner: The Emperor. And I'm[?b] a damned loser...

Depends. Is the Federation crewman wearing a red shirt? No contest, I'd give it to the Jedi. With the weapons, the Jedi could turn the phaser beam back at the crewman. Hand to hand, well- Obi-wan held his own against Jango Fett. So unless the Jedi was fighting Sisko, the Federation guy wouldn't have a chance. God, I'm such a dork. A draw. Both pull out their guns and shoot each other at the same time.

The only reason that happened was that Trips wasn't aware of the fact that he was going to be sent to Smackdown and, when he learned about it, he bitched to Vince, who put him back on Raw. See, Paul was telling the truth when he said that Trips doesn't like to work Tuesdays.
