Great, if he sues Geffen, there will just be more delays for Chinese Democracy. Whoo Hoo! Fuck.........
-
If he doesn't release it, he is going to be in debt for around 10 million dollars.
-
If they don't perform any new material, it will be a waste of a concert anyways.
-
I still don't see why they didn't just release something, EP style with "Chinese Democracy", "The Blues", "Madagascar", "Silk Worms" and "Rhiad And The Bedouins" on it. Most of the hardcore GNR fans have already heard that stuff, as well as anyone who say them in concert in the winter of 2002. That would've shut me up for a bit. Or at least put two or three of em on the Greatest Hits. At least Axl doesn't seem to be at fault for this one. They are putting it out without his permission.

A great artist? Yes. Influential? Yes. But he influenced a whole lotta crap like Godsmack, who I liked at one point, but their 2nd album.....POOOOOOOOP. You know what pisses me off? And this is kind of a side topic, but Staley reminded me of it. It pisses me off when just because an artist dies, they are remembered as so much better then they actually were. Take Cobain. If he wouldn't have died, there is no way he would be as worshipped as he is now. The only thing Axl did wrong was live. If he died instead of Cobain, there would be a whole lot more people hanging off of hit nuts instead of Kurt's.

I'll have to disagree. Appetite For Destruction is, overall, probably in the top ten rock albums of all time. Even GNR haters have to admit that. But then again some people hate Led Zeppelin or The Doors too. As far as Chinese Democracy existing........well the crazy old bastard has to have done something in that studio for the past 8 or so years. And with musicians as varied as Moby to Zakk Wylde talking about how great the material is......why would they lie?

Just like Scott Hall.............sweet. Minus the clever mic-work and mannerisms, yes. Hey, I have some damn clever mannerisms. Like when I pretend to be drunk, or when I throw a toothpick at..........oh wait............damn it.

Here GUNS N' ROSES Fans Protest Release Of 'Greatest Hits' Collection - Feb. 17, 2004 A number of GUNS N' ROSES fans are protesting the decision by Universal Music to issue a GNR greatest hits album without, what they say is, the approval of the band's lead singer Axl Rose, according to Australia's Undercover News. The irate fans have started an online petition via the GNR fan site Here Today… Gone To Hell!, claiming the album's projected track listing is simply not strong enough and that it contains no new material. According to posts in the online forum discussing the release of the greatest hits package, fans also seem to be under the impression that Universal is responsible for holding up Axl's long-awaited new album, "Chinese Democracy", even though the label had the album publicly listed on their release schedule as far back as September 1999 and had to withdraw the release when Rose failed to deliver the master. Read what the fans have to say about the release at this location. As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" CD (view cover here) is scheduled for release in the U.S. on March 23 through Geffen Records. "Greatest Hits", originally due last November before being pulled from the release schedule for reasons that were never clarified, will contain the following track listing: 01. Welcome To The Jungle 02. Live And Let Die 03. Knockin' On Heaven's Door 04. Sweet Child Of Mine 05. November Rain 06. Patience 07. Paradise City 08. Civil War 09. You Could Be Mine 10. Don't Cry (original) 11. Yesterdays 12. Ain't It Fun 13. Since I Don't Have You 14. Sympathy For The Devil

Just like Scott Hall.............sweet.

The Sandman, just cause I always marked out for good ol Hak.
-
And that means you're cool? .....I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Driving drunk really DOES mean that you're cool. Sweet. What if i was all coked up?
-
Yeah, but I WASN'T DRUNK! THAT BREATHALYZER WAS RIGGED!
-
Alright DAD! Sike nah, I didn't even feel drunk. I think I blew so high because I chugged a beer right before I left.

I had to say "Fuck Valentine's Day" didn't I? Yeah so i got to hang out with the girl I have a big crush on. Yeah we had a great time bowling, and yeah I was laying on the sofa with my head in her lap afterwards. But my friend Shawn, was too drunk to drive them home, so the task fell to me. If you're wondering if I got pulled over........of course I did! And in a state where the DUI level is .08, I blew a .29 on the breathalyzer. Yet for some reason, I didn't get a DUI, they let me off with a "Careless Driving" as long as someone else came to drive the truck. By the time that happened, my chances with Cait were blown cause she got picked up by someone else. Fuckin Valentine's Day............
-
Well, at least I won't be too pathetic. Me and my friend Shawn are going to go bowling with Cait (see my thread in LSD) and a friend of hers. Afterwards, we're partying at Shawn's. Nice, nice........

I just cracked my first beer of the evening. And so it begins............
-
I concur. Although I will probably enjoy some type of cheap whiskey.
-
Yeah, there's gotta be some douchebag on here who's never even gotten close enough to smell a girl's perfume who is more bitter then me.
-
With all my other jackass friends whipped on girls they mostly JUST MET, and with me always happening to find the insane ones, I doubt I will be doing anything special tonight. I am very close to opening my first beer of the evening. Anyway, I just wanted to say a much deserved "FUCK VALENTINE'S DAY".
-
Don't forget his run as the Disciple where he basically just stood there and occasionally hit someone with a Stunner. That was probably good for another $400,000 a year.

Correction. Guns N Roses WAS a great band. I dunno. They have pretty good people in there. Vocals: Axl Rose (I think that speaks for itself) Guitar: Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails) Guitar: Buckethead (Beloved experimental guitarist) Guitar: Richard Fortus (Sought after session player) Bass: Tommy Stinson (The Replacements) Keyboards: Dizzy Reed (GNR, the Illusions era) Keyboards: Chris Pittman (Nine Inch Nails, I think) Drums: "Brain" Mantia (Primus)

GOOD LORD NO. That new song was cute the first couple of times I've heard it, but I'm likely to punch the TV if they play it one more time. Ugh, my friend plays it in his truck everytime I am in there to piss me off. "I loved the way you MOOOOOOOOVE" Lol.
-
God, I hope that is a joke.
-
Is Buckethead going to perform with George Clinton and P Funk?

Nuts to this, the Surreal Life is on.
