I'm starting to fear that Slutty Trish just might win Babe of the Year again, unless the WWE really wants to push Torrie again
-
You'd think with three Canada natives opening the show, the crowd would be hot. Yeah, this should have been 10 o'clock main event.
-
"A native of WinneTOBA, ManiTOBA, Canada." It was a fuckup, but I was laughing more than cursing.

Al Snow wasn't an active wrestler, and WWE allowed him to wrestle in other promotions. So my theory is that they had him wrestle Tajiri on Monday so that he would be an active WWE wrestler, and thus, bar him from wrestling anywhere else. Now, what I want to know is how far in advance the WWE knew about the interpromotional match, for I think they made Snow wrestle very close to the match (two weeks), just so they can pull the rug out from under CSWF and TNA for the sole reason of hurting their businesses.

I think it's sad that at this point we are making all kinds of fun of a man who supposedly just fell to his death on national TV.

When Torrie ends the show, BAD things happen. Remember that god-awful lesbian tease a couple of years ago. As far as Angle getting his skull cracked, it doesn't matter in the sense that WWE violence is nothing more than a bad joke that is supposed to make us care. Seriously, if a guy were to be really "busted open" with a pair of brass knuckles or just fists, the whole face would be so puffy that he couldn't look in a mirror for weeks. But no, in the WWE, it's a simple quarter-inch cut that means nothing. I also can't stand the fact that WWE waited for Smackdown to suck this bad that they would actually attempt to "kill" off its top heel for ratings. Like it was said before, this far into the game, I can't take "death" angles seriously, even with the fake blood dripping from behind Angle's head. Kane should have died in the dumpster and the car crash last year, instead, he comes back exactly one week after each incident, looking like nothing happened. The same thing when Triple H got dropped with the car. He was back the following week, so fit and healthy that he kicked Austin's ass. Rock got put in an ambulance and run over by a freakin' 18-wheeler, yet he's back in two weeks with just some novelty tape around his waist and some over-selling. And yet we are really supposed to think that Angle's bit the big one. My intelligence has been so insulted that I should just skip Smackdown this week and not bother. Thank you, WWE, for once again completely de-sensitizing me to something that should make me say "Oh my god," yet now I just say "Oh please." No wonder they support the troops. Watching their programming at this point is like basic level training in trivializing violence.

I have a better idea. Let's stop having rematches of WM main events being the main events of the very next PPV. WM 20 was supposed to be the ultimate blowoff to the Triple Threat feud, and here we are, right back where we were 6 weeks ago. Personally makes me feel a little jaded that I paid 50 bucks to basically see HHH tap to Benoit. Not jaded enough to make me regret watching the match, though.
-
Yeah, he also said Benoit was going "home" to Edmonton, when he's supposed to be from Atlanta...

Again, Eugene is "unintentionally" funny, and Regal has to apologize. Next week he get annoyed. I'm sick of this angle already. Not only does it make light of mentally challenged people, but it's OLD.
-
I think Benjamin vs. Christian could be the best midcard rivalry on Raw if it happens.
-
Now I'm buying evil Trish, even if the whole turn was contrived. Her talking smack to Jericho was pretty funny. I'm guessing I'm not supposed to be seeing this whole thing as a comedy act, but at this point, it's the only reason I can enjoy the angle.
-
Ugh. Ugh. BS.
-
See, there's Eugene, being "unintentionally" funny, and Regal having to apologize. And hence, the predictable absurdity begins.
-
I thought the guy was fired for trying to take drugs across Canada.
-
As bad as Eugene is, people are talking about it, so in the WWE's eyes, this is a success. It won't help Dinsmore. I mean, they completely stomped on Gowen when his story was gold. Because the idea was originally Dinsmore's, I think he was stupid to come up with it, even if he knew that WWE would take such an idea. But I place more stupidity on WWE, for not only letting the idea fly, but also for having nothing for him in the first place. The WWE e-mail is a cookie-cutter response, basically they are telling you how you are supposed to react to the story. Anyone who got that e-mail should send it back and rip it apart. The very idea that we are supposed to see Eugene, as a hero after he was basically comic relief in his debut is a good place to start. WWE seems to forget that the stereotype is that mental illness is a joke and something to be laughed at, when in fact it is NOT a joke. Teaming Dinsmore with a heel like Regal only foreshadows this act becoming comic relief with Eugene doing something funny "unintentionally" and Regal getting mad, impatient, or whatever until the fans start booing the hell out of it, or Dinsmore is run out of the company. Seeing as how Goldust and Gowen were given disabilities and then promptly shown the door, I am not looking forward to this angle in the slightest.

I never got to comment on the battle royal, it was so badly booked I tried to forget it for two days. I mean, when they open the show with that as the only announced match, I thought for sure it would be the 10 o'clock main event. Certainly with it basically being Lita vs Trish. Instead, it was some filler between two Triple H beatdowns. Then the royale itself just stunk, but everyone has said that. The rules were contrived, and it was a bunch of dead weight eliminated during the facade of a commercial break, as well as the T & A factor for the most part, especially anyone wearing wedgie-inducing short shorts. I mean, would it have been that hard to put in Jackie and Ivory, two women who could work a little? Then having Trish lose is criminal. Unless they are saving evil Trish and psycho Victoria for some big feud later, what's the point? Lita still sucks. One reason I keep hearing for the quick eliminations is time limitation. Well, would it really have been so hard and thought-provoking to sell Benjamin in the main even again, run the match a little longer, and incorporate the two beatdowns into one? That way, we get the same booking result, but it takes less time. Whatever.
-
Well, we all saw HH going over twice coming, so to be mad at this point would be silly. Whatever.
-
I'm betting that Benoit, HBK, and Foley come down separately, and then Evolution beats the snot out of them one by one.
-
Here's a site you might like: TardBlog I don't like WWE making fun of VERY serious conditions like Turret's and OCD. Especially with steroids looming over their heads and shrinking brains everywhere.
-
Nidia, Stacy, and Gail Kim all had the better ass-revealing pants tonight. So taking a commercial break in this case to get them out of the ring and rob me of that experience is CRIMINAL. Sure, they all suck, but I would have liked a close-up of Gail landing on her face.
-
THANK YOU. Enough of this putting Benjamin over garbage. Four white guys beating up another black man. I mean, Rock got his in 2000 (half-black). I hated the post-match. So because all of Evolution happens to be white and Benjamin happens to be black they can't do what's been done in wrestling hundreds of times before with the heel group beating the face down post-match? When was the last time 4 black guys beat up a white guy on Raw? Equality in ass-kickings, that's all I ask for.

"Randy's Gay" Were those smarks...?

Flair is much better at ring announcing than Lilian.

I thought Shelton was from Minn, Minn.
