  1. Yeah, I had to just erase my legend, and just go on with Madden with a new superstar from scratch, that WR for the Saints.
  2. Because you have the CFL? That's really probably the only reason.
  3. No, if you imported a legend, you go in the 2nd round. The 1st round is completely set. As for the unrealistic aspect, I walked into NFL with Peyton Manning's football intelligence, Tom Brady's winning drive, Brett Favre's gunslinging ability, Peyton again's accuracy, and Michael Vick... no, better than Vick's legs. As a rookie, I was rated 99. That's not realistic at all. They should have taken away some attributes to reflect the transition from college to pros. p.s. thanks on the congrats.
  4. Just beat Tennessee in my first preseason game, 40-20. My WR had 2 catches for 18 yards and a TD, but his big achievement was running back a 97 yard kickoff return for a TD.
  5. Did Vermeil at least cry when he had to release Papale? Or is that part not even in the movie, out of fear of ruining a feel-good story?
  6. I don't think Hogan has any more "ultimate" put-overs left in him. Hogan was basically destroyed by Brock Lesnar. What more can be done with Hogan? He's already lost clean at Mania, tapped out clean, got destroyed...
  7. Dama, not to pile on, but there's realistic and there's cynical.
  8. Yeah the WWE couldn't capitalize on Benjamin because HHH brushed off the losses and refused to face him again, citing him to be "not in his league". Great job by HHH there.
  9. That's horrible Mole, unless you were a fatass lineman. My best time on Madden was 4.31. So I decided to start a Superstar, a WR, and got drafted to the Saints. If nothing else, the Saints are gonna have an explosive offense with Brees, McAllister, Bush, Horn, Stallworth and now me.
  10. It's not a necessity. I just like having little advantages here and there to help my Madden superstar. And too bad US History is for Qbs really, because that's like the best/easiest course to take in the difficult category.
  11. I had 4 years of my NCAA career to go. I didn't need to be in a rush and try to max out all my stats within a month as a freshman. This is why I like the difficult course thing, it keeps things grounded, and actually, from what I see, having a great education helps with your Madden attributes like awareness and IQ.
  12. My week: Position Drill/Meet With Tutor/Study or Social Activities (when Im too tired to study) Made the Dean's List 4 years in a row with that method.
  13. Even though I picked ND in my picks, I wouldn't really be all that surprised if ND lost to GT. Remember how everyone thought Tyrone Willingham's team would be a national title contender in their 2nd year?
  14. Nah, I prefer a difficult course. Bigger boosts. Plus I feel better knowing I graduated college with US History degree than I do NCAA Team Nicknames.
  15. If you want ultimate, have someone knock Taker out like Lesnar did all those jobbers when he first debuted.
  16. The weird guy in me hates having the big PPVs so close together, like BFG/TP and Lockdown/Slammy. They should designate two PPVs as their big two (the Mania and Summerslam). I'd advocate Slammiversary being #1 and BFG being #2. Then you have the sub major PPVs as the "turning point" of the storyline arc from 1 major PPV to the next (Slammiversary-> a sub-major PPV -> BFG). What do you guys think?
  17. Why is this thread still going? PK and Alkeiper gave their answers. It might not be the answers you wanted, but they were answers regardless. Leena's not getting banned (unless they get around to it for PBP reasons), EHME isn't, WP isn't. Might as well just put them on ignore for now and see how it works out.
  18. I was just arguing why entertaining the notion of Branch going to ATL was a bad one.
  19. You know the answer to that one.
  20. For what Branch wants, if Atlanta gets him, they'd have to pay him a lot of money just to run routes only for Vick to take off. Once Atlanta decides to use Matt Schaub or to change the offense so that Vick can make his passes from a shorter range, then Branch would be a sensible pickup.
  21. I meant the fact Sting's big rub would be to Jarrett. Though that shouldnt come as a surprise to anyone. I just cannot envision a circumstance where Sting won at BFGII considering his contract'd have run out by December, I think. And if that's the case, his big job would be at BFGII, to Jarrett.
  22. And actually in a twisted way, I can get WWE not wanting to associate the title with the public definition of a "belt". They probably wanted to make the title mean more than that, but that brings the question of how they keep ruining the credibility of said titles, but thats another story.
  23. I don't think it's that bad. Peerless played with the benefit of Eric Moulds on the other side. Branch probably wouldn't be the undisputed #1 anywhere else, but I can see him being a good #2 WR for a team in need of a final push to the playoffs.
  24. Because to formally ban words like: belt/strap feud shot (as in title shots) pro wrestling pro wrestler is quite retarded in itself.
