What I find is that New York sucks vs teams that has a good passing offense. Exhibit A: New York vs San Diego. That was a rout. I think San Diego, with the exception of Indy, is probably one of the most high-powered offenses that could rival Cincy's. If New York got killed by San Diego, imagine how bad of a loss Cincy would hand them? Before you try to say that New York beat Denver, Denver is a run-oriented offense that has a better chance of being shut down with a good run defense that can play the play action/pass defense as well.

That's really funny. No way does New York "hang tough" vs Cincy. It'd be like 42-17 at worst and 35-24 at best.

What's this W.W.E.? Seriously though, I don't even watch Raw anymore, because after I watch How I Met Your Mother, I usually just play video games or let the wife watch TV. I also oftentimes forget Smackdown is on Fridays, which is a good thing I guess.

I hate people who chant the name of another team in the area for a specific sport. I hear about the Philly fans chanting "Eagles" at the Phillies and now Detroit's fans. It's not "classic", it's disrespectful. Big difference.

The "team can't win when it's a certain temperature" thing is such bullshit it's not even funny. Know why the Bucs had a piss-poor record when it was cold? Because they were a horrible, untalented team for 2 decades. Know why they lost on Saturday? Because Williams couldn't get a decent run off & Simms was under attack by a front 7 that dominated the Bucs OL. Not because it was too chilly for the Bucs. And RE: the Pats chances of going to the Super Bowl ... even most die-hard fans admit it's unlikely. But I personally think that they're going to be favored versus Jax in the wild card game, and will likely win (although not cover, for the gamblers out there). You ask how they're going to beat Jacksonville, I say by stopping the run and putting it all on a young QB to beat them. And if it happens that they win by "some Vinatieri FG in the last 2:00" ... you don't get extra wins for winning big. Winning by a FG in the closing seconds is good enough for me. And I can't help but remember last year's postseason, when both the Colts & the Steelers were supposed to destroy NE. How many points did Indy's record-setting offense put up last year again? Not enough to win. Is there a chance that the Pats could go into RCA and get destroyed? Yes, there's a very good chance. But is there a chance that the Pats might actually beat the Colts? Yes. I don't see why the Pats can't beat the Colts. Seymour is back, isn't he? Colvin is doing well for now and the defense seems to have gotten rolling again. I'm also pretty sure Belichick would love to knock Indy off again to pad his "GENIUS!!!" status.

I think what stopped Vick from running more was the fact he was getting drilled badly by Urlacher and co. Trust me, against the Bears, it's much safer to try to stay in the pocket, and even then, it's not all that safe.

You can't say that about Dallas and the Giants. Giants beat the Broncos and Chiefs. Dallas beat the Chargers and Kansas City. You can't really say the Giants or any NFC East team can't beat the Bengals or Steelers because the NFC east didn't play that division. Both the Cowboys and Giants took out 2 of the top 3 teams in the AFC west. They were missing Antonio Gates big time. The Philadelphia loss is inexcusable however...

The offense looked more crisp with Grossman back, so let's hope he stays healthy longer this time around.

Let's not forget that Tampa Bay is undefeated in cold weather games.... oh wait.
-
He has a ton of talent and potential but he needs a disciplinarian(Czech will tell me if I spelled that wrong) type Head Coach. For a late first day or early second day draft pick the Chargers really couldn't go wrong here. San Diego has Vincent Jackson who is pretty good. If Detroit accepts a 3rd rounder and a scrub for Rogers, I will laugh at the Lions for giving up a 1st round pick on him only to let him go for a later pick. If that's the deal Lions is looking for, then perhaps that's a good idea.
-
Dude... just...no. San Diego's better off staying away from bong boy.
-
So yeah Bears might as well put Grossman back in, because I sure as hell don't want that bastion of suckiness to lead the Bears to a possible playoff run.
-
Eh Washington couldn't roll over and die, could they?
-
After looking, Carolina is 3-2 in division, so at the moment they are the prime candidate, though I have to say no one is the Padres of football. None of them are in danger of finishing 8-8 (of the division leaders).
-
The Bears are undefeated in division play too. So if the Pats aren't it due to that, then neither are Chicago.
-
If they lose tonight they have a case for it. If they win though, then that honor goes to New England (record-wise).
-
To be fair, Mike Williams hasn't been in football a full year. No matter how well he trains himself for a year, he wouldn't be ready for NFL. Give him a year or two in the NFL and he should be better.
-
I would add I don't see Bears losing all 3 of their remaining games. This would require a meltdown of epic proportions by the defense. I would also like to add that if Orton doesn't do jackshit tonight in the first half, they need to get Grossman back in.

Just got to have one more pick to win and then I'm going to 9-5... edit: And I get it done. 9-5 baby!
-
Not quite. They would have a two game lead with two games left. If they beat Minnesota next week or whenever they play again, then they would clinch. Their remaining games are Green Bay and Minnesota, both on the road. Minnesota has Baltimore and Chicago. I think a win against Green Bay clinches it regardless because then even if they lose to Minnesota, they have the better division record. I think. They would clinch because Minnesota would then be two games behind with only 1 game left. I thought the Minnesota/Chicago game was next week, my bad.

Right now they're battling both Pitt and KC for the final Wild Card spot. Here's how that looks... San Diego: 9-5 Week 16 @ KC Week 17 vs Denver KC: 8-6 Week 16 vs San Diego Week 17 vs Cinci Pitt: 9-5 Week 16 @ Cleveland Week 17 vs Detroit In order for San Diego to clinch the second Wild Card spot they have to win out and hope Pitt loses one game. In order for KC to clinch the second Wild Card spot they have to win out and hope Pitt loses both games. In order for Pitt to clinch the second Wild Card spot they really just have to win the next two games. KC is eliminated with a loss to San Diego and a Pitt win @ Cleveland next week I'm aware, which is why I called it a big hurdle.

Or SD in an encore performance though getting to the playoffs is a big hurdle for them.
