Where has that got them? Still haven't won a Superbowl yet. My opinion that will not change this season either. Exactly. You can go 16-0 for a decade and it won't mean shit without a Super Bowl ring attached to any season. Though it'd be hard for an undefeated team to NOT win the NFL title.

Hey I just want everyone to know the strengths of my team. On top of that I think they have like 39 sacks on the season. How many times has Leinart been sacked? He may not be used to the pressure. You could say the same about Jason White. USC's D-line has been even better than that with 46 sacks. That's the battle that will be the most interesting to watch. Thanks Chris. I was looking for that stat. I knew USC had more sacks.

In a perfect world, I'd have Bills and Jaguars take it in the AFC and New Orleans and Panthers in the NFC. It's too bad Panthers and Saints are playing each other and one WILL go home.

It's too bad that LenDale White isn't 100%, because if OU forgets him like you apparently are, then it would bite them in the BUTT big-time.

That may be so, and I do think the Eagles COULD beat the Steelers the next time around, but they do have some work to do before being declared the best defense.

I didn't say charisma. I said talker. Hogan's promos are very basic, while it fits his time period, wouldn't hold up against any of the Rock's heel mic work or some of his face mic work.

I don't think this will be the high scoring shootout everyone thinks it is. I think the D on both teams will step it up. It may be a 28-21 type game. Still will be about outscoring the opponent. It doesn't necessarily have to be a 42-41 game. As long as you outscore your opponent, you win. It's universal.

Philly doesn't have too good of a run defense. Look at the Pittsburgh game. Or any game practically (except Green Bay... that was just a drubbing on the part of the Eagles).

Are you sure you can be objective? USC is very good. Oklahoma is excellent. I see it coming down to whether or not USC can outscore OU. I personally think they can.

Well the sports announcers saw a #3/#4 team defeat a #2 team in the Big 12 South/Pac-10 matchup. Using that logic, they probably came to the conclusion that we would expect the same from the Orange Bowl. Honestly I agree with them. OU IS too physical for USC. However USC can still win if they string together some scoring drives. And USC's defense is decent enough to hang with OU's offense. Though I see it coming down to Bush/Leinart vs the OU defense and Peterson vs the USC defense. I don't see OU passing too much, probably to get Peterson used to having the offense being revolved around him next year.

Maybe an easter egg would be a clip of Saget doing his bit on the Rodney Dangerfield B-day Bash special...

No way OU doesn't win both polls when they win on Tuesday. This analysis of the Orange Bowl is confusing me. Before the hype of the week all the ESPN guys and sports writers could talk about was how USC was going to win a close game. Now they've all changed their tune and are saying that OU is to physical for USC and that OU will win. Why the sudden change in attitude? Why can't they make up their mind? They saw the Cal/Texas Tech game... nuff said.

Next thing Jason would be telling us is that Hogan is a better talker than the Rock.

I'm not saying its in their nature to blowout by 30 or more. I'm just saying I doubt Auburn will let VT score. So the game will likely be a shutout or a very low-scoring affair on the VT side. Still won't be enough for the AP or anyone to consider them over USC or OU. If they didn't in the season, they won't now.

Well the boys on TV always credit the coaches if the team doesn't have a real distinctive player. For example, USC has Bush, Leinart, etc and OU has White, Peterson, etc. So it is easier for them to say "Wow USC won because of Bush!" or whatever. Texas... has Vince Young, who prior to the game was a blip on the radar. Has Cedric Benson who WAS a blip on the radar in the game. So they say the coach. Just my theory.

Why would they? OU is ranked #2 by the AP I believe. If they beat the previously ranked 1 USC, I don't see how the AP would go, "Ok so the #2 team beat the #1 team, let's give the title to a #3 team who beat a #9 team!" I think it's the Orange Bowl winner that takes it.
