Actually the WWE may make references about the Raw title holding the WCW lineage, however that is not the case. In WWE's official records (as well as their old program guides), the Raw title's lineage began the night Triple H was awarded it. Hence HHH is truly the 1st champion of the Raw World Heavyweight Title. I have this confirmed.

No. The writers are encouraged to come up with ideas (which they write scripts for prior to approval), then get them pitched. Vince then picks up the ideas he feels suits the shows the best and runs with it.

Ring the bell. That is THE main reason why I cannot stand the character or the show. He's written, basically, as a poor man's Sherlock Holmes. Quite frankly, I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan, and the imitation doesn't live up to the real thing. The Sherlock Holmes gimmick is exactly why I like Goren. And that is exactly what Dick Wolf was going for, according to the small booklet that came with the Season 1 DVD set. It's my favorite show and it tears me to hear D'Onofrio possibly not lasting long on the show due to this.

I just killed USC, Georgia, LSU and OKLAHOMA (In Norman, no less) by scores over 50 each time and allowing ZIP. So in the game, Oklahoma ain't going to the Orange Bowl WHOO! (But then again, neither is USC)
