Fucking awesome night in Chicago. There were seriously maybe ten thousand Red Sox fans there, at one point we started a HUGE "let's go Red Sox" chant. When we were down 4-1, these guys in front kept turning back and laughing at me, and I just didn't say anything, but I definitely had the last laugh tonight. POTG= Joe Crede.

Well, guys, I'll be heading to the Cell in lovely south-side Chicago tonight to see the Red Sox. Hopefully I won't get shot or kidnapped.

Apparently Ronny Woo Woo has been listed as a missing person.

Since Clement will have the most rest, he's Terry's guy, and reportedly he was upset by not being chosen by Terry initially, does anyone think Clement could start this game? That would make five Red Sox starters.

The best part was when Anglesault said teams that are "for real" win the division, not the "consolation prize." Then that team that he said wasn't for real beat the Yanks in the World Series, and one year later another team that made the playoffs through the "consolation prize" beat the Yanks in the ALCS. And IIRC, weren't the Angels the WC team in 02? I miss Anglesault.

If this week's Indians/RedSox is anything like last week's, we've got some really exciting games from Fenway coming up.

OH, I thought AAAA was teams like Pittsburgh, who send all their best players to contenders midseason. At least, that's what I thought in 2003.

Dusty says Prior might be back by Sunday to face the White Sox, and Wood only needs one/two more rehab starts in AAA.

During the Whtie Sox post game tonight, he totally backed down, just kept saying "What's the big deal?", and eventually said "you know, I don't know, but I hear stuff from people around the league, you know." And he said he doesn't want Greg Maddux calling him.

He said it was a Cubs pitcher who's been successful for years, and who has great movement.
