Sure, but you can fault the referees for allowing the punt on 4th down to go, whistling that play dead, and then deciding to challenge the preceding play. The snap of the next play is supposed to nullify any opportunities for throwing the challenge on the previous play, right? Or did Belichick really get that flag out there before the punt and I just missed it from the broadcast? EDIT: They lobbied for it during the TV timeout that followed the punt? Are you fucking serious? They challenged the punt. That was the play where the Giants had 12 men on the field. The Patriots had until the Giants ran their (got it right that time!) next play. Nothing to complain about at all there. Oh, fuck me. That was a bad time for a mis-type.

Seriously. What is that shit? Well, they had a TV timeout to see if they could get the play overturned even though it probably should've been a little late to do so, and then they got it. I didn't even think you could challenge that. Oh well. Luckily for New England, they're coaching staff has a full understanding of the rules.... Side note, nice Dead Milkmen quote.

I think that Jack and Hurley are both part of the 6. The Oceanic 6 is a name that would probably take off from the beginning of their return, and not as a way for them to separate themselves from Jack. I think that there must be some deal struck where they don't mention that anyone else even survived the plane crash, as Hurley didn't mention that Ana Lucia had been on the island with him and then died.

I thought that they were both pretty good episodes. I'm glad that Chuck got picked up early, as I think that the writers strike will kill some shows that didn't have Chuck's early momentum. Also, I love Yvonne Strahovski oh so much.

Yeah, I agree with the newspaper scenes, but I'm giving them time. I originally didn't like the dock worker scenes in Season 2 either, but eventually those became pretty good. Hopefully the newsroom builds to something.

I think I need to give it a few more listens, but I like it just fine for now. They seem a bit like an indie version of Paul Simon, which isn't as good as I expected it to be when that inevitably happened. I think that leads to some of my disappointment. If that makes sense. Also, has any other band ever gone from pretty much underground hype to mainstream MTV hype in less time?
