Rico lands on his feet in All Japan

Clearly I see Nagai crying behind them and Honma looks spiritually floored, Kawada must be cutting his thighs in the back. But did he really have to wear the pussy pants? and his face now kinda reminds me of Jerry Tuite (Buch's AJ partner for the most of 2003 FYI).

    Sorry LA peeps

Maybe they'll consider a name change now like Anthrax did for a year and people again won't give a fuck. This is one of the cases where the name of the band is more bad ass than the music they play.

So this kid in my dorm died last night.

As long as his roommate won't start (necro) cybering with his screen name then having the dead guy online could be for the means of an online mortuary where his friends and relatives can stop by and drop a few farewell lines like "hey dude so I guess I don't owe you that 20 anymore, peace."

    King of Colosseum II

I like playing with Tenryu as well but damn is it hard sometimes to hit his 53 years old finisher, especially on difficulty 7. Same problem with exploder suplexes, which were easier to execute in KOC red and green.

Rico lands on his feet in All Japan

I call it shit. The Love machines winning the titles would be more fitting, hell Nozawa and Mazada even more since they signed and have been teaming for years. It doesnt make sense how Buchbananan and Rico even got nominated as the challengers. I never liked Rico's ring presence, look or overall talent (have seen his OVW matches) and he is 6 months away from being a great grand father to Lodi's and Lenny's poster child. I guess that's all that Muto could find when he said he wanted to bring a young hoss from the States.

    It's a farewell

It stills beats the working and living in the same place routine that I have endulged myself in for 2 years. But getting up in the morning and driving or train hopping to work now that I hate without remorse. Personally when I'm not working I either feel like a cookie monster and or get annoyed the fuck out by people asking me what I do and if I found a new job. I guess most people havent heard of a 6 month vacation in America.

    Wild Pegasus vs. Lionheart

Why, to bring back the toothless agression era along with it signs? If anything Benoit should go back to the pre-WM self where his snot was dominating and ending each RAW.

    What are you watching

I've been feeling nostalgic towards tournaments lately, so I planned to start a G1 marathon, hopefully finish it completely so I can finally decide which one is my favorite. The feel of interpromotional matches is what's missing in the tournaments in general these days.
  9. Dinner Rush - 8/10. A film that I always watch whenever it's on IFC.

    Serious thread.

I'm pretty sure this is a Russian site we have witnessed here and it should be protected by the strongest or the dumbest Russian porn and MP3 laws that usually either state that the children used in the program have be given consent by their parents to do so or have been abducted by Chechen rebels (then taken to a lavishing studio) who are out to poison the nation while their children are out living more productive lives, like learning how to self strap a homemade bomb and possibly take out 70% of Moscow's gay population at the next T.A.T.U. concert. Do you smell the teen spirit?

    SAY SOMETHING

Ah what the hell, I just bought two 2nd row tickets to ROH in NYC and since there is no one at this point for me to go with I'm highly considering taking my grandmother to the show. Now she was into WWE in the peak years but I Purofied her right after the HHH/Steph marriage. I think this could work. Spanish Harlem here we come.

    Ultimo Dragon...

The more I read this post, the less sense it makes. Are you drunk tonight Sin? I think I have finally reached the Lynchian postmortem stage here at the boards. Read it again and this time without imagining me sitting there in all my pretentiousness but instead try to depict each sentence separately and apply your upmost imagination to it until it makes sense, preferably only yo you.

    Ultimo Dragon...

I'm pretty sure Vince hasnt seen his face. It's a Mexican thing and Vince clearly respects the culture. This could make Sakoda look like a hot rod he never was.

    Shibata Leaves New Japan!

It finally happened, Shibata has decided to leave NJPW after the 3rd negotiations took place, and failed. Obviously a very young and talented worker whose carear was just starting to take off. Personally it was a nice surprise, after all the teased negotiations someone other than Yasuda actually left the company on his own terms. Where would you like to see Shibata go? Because I dont see any company not wanting someone young and somewhat known in the sport. If he decides to spring into MMA, Big Mouth (Uei's and Maeda's new project fed) could be a place he could go, but most likely he'll work all over Japan as a freelancer. It was evident that Nakamura and Tanahashi were NJ's more favorites but did Shibata made a good choice? could he gain more fame by having this freedom to work anywhere? This just made me care about Shibata more than I ever did while he was in NJ.

Guy tries to kill himself, but decides to live...

What a way to not die. Clearly if he survived self stabbing in the chest that alone should have made him see the guiding light.

    Bad 80's martial arts movie

Ninja please, everyone knows that AN 4 was the best. Terrorist Ninjas? it had my mind running in loops of excitement.

    Sin City trailer

Finally a film where Rourke is not playing a pussy. Btw Robert Rodriguez is directing it and frankly something reminded me of Kill Bill, I wonder why. I didnt like Once Upon a Time in Mexico, but this film might have a fair ground to balance out the usual RR silly plotting since it looks like a fantasy. Minus the abercrombie and fitch kids (which is 70% of the cast) this might be a fun little flick.

    Bad 80's martial arts movie

this reminds me of American Ninja, now the closet favorite of many teens from the 80's ... sorta like the Power Rangers were/are to the kids of the 90's. Movies like that make me appreciate Chan even more.

    1/4 Dome Show Results

    2. Liger is fine by my standards, maybe because I always liked him but since he turned heel he was able to hide some of his more visible flaws by mainly being a stiff brawler who rarely takes it to the air and even uses chairs outside the ring. His hyped-up single matches are still very enjoyable. 3. That's Tiger Mask 4 who was trained by the original TM and Great Sasuke. Debuted in 95 and joined New Japan in 2002. Does great justice to the Tiger Mask legacy but sometimes (like many other juniors in New Japan) suffers from lousy booking. 4. One reason why Nagata might have been awful in the States is because he didnt have that many talented people to work with. Outside of Ultimo Dragon all his other WCW matches were worthless. I would say that his isnt the same as he was in 2001 and 02 obviously but Nagata is still very good. If you wanna see a recent crazed Nagata watch his bloodfest against Sasaki from last year. 7. I dont know why Waterman was let go by WWE since he was 10 times better than all of their big men. Might have been his age. I'm guessing Nagata was booked twice so he could lose to Waterman with people feeling that he was somewhat tired from the previous match with his bro. 8. 3 way matches arent common in NJ, maybe more common in Osaka Pro and other indies. Chono is pretty banged up, had forgettable - to - crap matches at the last year's G1. 9. U-30 is an under 30 years of age concept title created and held initially by Tanahashi who with Nakamura is billed as the future ace of the company. Nakamura is a shoot lover while Tanahashi is short of amazing with good all roundness and look.
