Akio "catching" London with the knee to the groin when London came off the top came off as awkward and sloppy/botched. No dropsault. No 450. No dancing "cave man" dance. And Akio got basically no offense besides that kick that sent London to the outside. They had some really good Velocity bouts before, but this match had no psychology, no build, NO HEAT, and was bad. -

Check out the Wildside website. Apparently someone stole the new title belt for NWA Anarchy at the last Wildside show. Not an angle. It's missing. Ah...

Greatest overall booking time periods

Quote: "RR 2000-Judgment Day 2000" I hate it when people do this. Just because KOTR 2000 wasn't a very good PPV, they claim "WWF was great in 2000 from Rumble to Judgment Day." The booking/shows was still very good at this time, after KOTR. - We had Benoit given a main event push to face Rock. - Angle ruining Taker's bike and riding the scooter around. - E & C Title 2nd reign begins. - Right to Censor begins, and it was a hot angle when it did. - KURT ANGLE KISSING STEPHANIE MCMAHON. - A very underrated T & A Vs. Hard Boys feud. Great feud. Why? Led to a very good mixed six-person tag at Fully Loaded. Got Trish a lot of heat and face time on TV. Put Lita over more, and she was mega-over back then. Through a passable power team in their with quick over face team, and they worked good matches together. - Big Show gets sent to OVW. - Triple H "training" Trish, caught by Stephanie repeatedly. - Val Venis given push as serious IC champ. - Jericho and Benoit go at it again, 2/3 Falls match buildup. - Raven brought in at Philly PPV. - Austin returns storyline. - Steve Blackman: Hardcore Champion was over. -
One Night Stand To Receive Little Promotion by WWE

You what's going to suck? When the DVD comes out and the WWE inserts their terrible "replacement" theme music, ala the Rise & Fall of ECW DVD. And damnit, I want to see one thing and one thing only: bWo Vs. Corino & Victory & Rhyno -
I thought that Essa Rios worked really soft at WrestleMania 14 (his kicks were weak and the execution was just third-rate compared to what Nitro's cruisers were pumping out). So my first look at him made me dissapointed. However, as Essa Rios and his LHW Title run, I thought he was pretty good. He wasn't super, but for the WWF, which always was never associated with high-flying cruiser-types, he was good. I remember liking Essa/Eddie and enjoying the Essa breakup when he moonsaulted Lita. Plus he had a few other good matches in there. In NWA-TNA, I found him to be sloppy and slower. I just wasn't entertained. Who knows, though. I saw one of Mysterio's first WWE matches in Atlantic City (Smackdown! TV Taping dark match, the one where Rock returns with Busta Rhymes, Cena/Taker V. Jericho/Angle main event). Mysterio wrestled Funaki and I found Rey to be unexciting. And look at the awesome stuff he pumped out just weeks later. Maybe Rios' work in TNA was seen as poor (in my opinion) due to his opponents being green, unfamiliar, or not able to keep up with him. I say sign the guy for a few appearences and see how he does. Couldn't hurt.

I had an idea when watching Pacers game. Could the Indiana Pacers hire Ron Artest and his rap group he produces or whatever to perform during Game 3 in Indiana against Detroit? I think it would be a big morale boost for the team and would give the NBA an edge. If Artest is going to be a bumbling, fighting lunkhead, at least further exploit him for television ratings and increase interest, I say.

Congratulations to Reggie Miller whose Pacers stomped the Boston University Terriers on their own court tonight. From a 76ers fans, see ya next year Boston, when we can once against compete for the worst division in the league's title.

JBL wrestled for the NWA when it lost national respectability in the mid-90s. After a stint with thew GWF as John Hawk, "Bradshaw" did NWA work and even won the NWA North American Heavyweight title. A title he'd later challenge for in 1998 against Jeff Jarrett during an awful WWF angle. -
Randy Moss will ever win anything.

In theory the "Chamber of Horrors" match was probably designed by the evil heel team to murder one of the faces. Except Abdullah went in the chair, and everyone knows Abdullah can never die, so it nullified the effects. -
I've got a lot of neat stuff going up. I'm a college student, as well, so it became hard to update the site. Most of the content is down to be added back shortly. With the summer here it will be easier. Thanks for the interest, I'll post when the site is officially re-upped!

Quote: NWA/WCW, it was the same thing when they had the belts. No it wasn't. "World Championship Wrestling" was the name of the program put on by the NWA. The Road Warriors held the NWA World Tag Team Title belts on the show. -

Torrie: "That Dawn Marie! She seduced my father and then literally put him in his deathbed when she fucked him too many times! Then she broke a lamp over my head at his funeral!" Jackie Gayda: "I know! She totally started fucking my Charlie Haas after we were engaged. Eventually, he wound up dumping us both!" Dawn Marie: "Hi, I heard you." All three, plus nameless Divas: "DANCE PARTY!!!!!!!! John Cena's new CD! Look at the dog, awwwww!" Excellent WWE writing staff at it again.
