Anyone else think the Rumble will go on before HHH/Orton?

Booker T challenged for the (WWE) World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series 2002 and WrestleMania 2003. He challenged for the WWE Title at Survivor Series 2004 and Armageddon 2004. No dice.

I was SHOCKED when Yoko won, as a young mark. I didn't realize the limited winners. I was going with the "Fat Guys never win it" thought.

Pillman lost a Lser Leaves WCW match to the Horsemen in 1991. He began appearing as The Yellow Dog, a horrible masked entity. He tried to "prove" he wasn't Dog (of course he was) by having others dress up as Dog. Horrible gimmick. Eventually dropped.

The title stipulation was first added in 1993.

Hey, I just hung with my two very drunk friends to watch: ROYAL RUMBLE 94 1, based on it being 1994, thought Bret had to win. 1, based on it being 1994, thought Luger had to win. I made them agree "Which *1* guy do you think wins this thing?" They were both SURE of the winner. I made them chug a beer if they were wrong. Interestingly enough, one picked the final 4 as: Bret, Lex, HBK, and...shit, someone NOT NAMED HEADSHRINKER FATU... So impossible. Meaning this year we get: John Cena, Batista, Shawn Michaels, and Mark Jindrak

Cawthon: Diesel was referring to Michaels. Diesel was a quasi-heel at Rumble '96. Not a face. Not a heel. But *NOT* a tweener. To the 7-12 year old mark watching, he was an asshole jerk who had a really popular friend named Shawn Michaels. He even had the dreaded "grey elbow pad of death" (wink). During the Rumble, Shawn and Diesel punched each other when they were both in there. The (very brief) interview) was the beginning of Diesel's "I'm turning heel, but not really, if you wear my glove, but none of you are, and I'm facing Taker, so naturally, I'm a heel" phase.

The WWE has now screwed over any chance of debuting a returning star other than Lesnar, Hogan, or Austin. If either of those 3 are the 30th man, they'll receive mega pops. If Matt Hardy, Sheik, etc. come out......expect groans.

Overrated.

I was at the movies with some friends a few months ago. This gang of kids were sitting several rows ahead of us. Their cell phones kept ringing, I guess they kept calling each other. The one phone had this rap song that would play everytime it rang. But the worst part was before the song, some rapper would yell super loud... "PLEASE ALLOW ME TO RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF!" This happened like 5 times before the obscenities and ice were launched at the little shits, silencing them for good.

In hindsight, how lame is it that HBK & Diesel forfeitted the tag titles because they "couldn't get along" back in 94?
