What's that sketch on the commercial for the "best 50 ever" where it's 4 people, one of which is Will Ferrell, dancing in blue sweatshirts. They each have a letter on their shirt, an "F" a "U" a "C" and a "K" and keep dancing around, teasing shit. Was that any good or just as predicted? Haha Comedy Central airing MAD TV on New Years Day, ALL DAY MARATHON. Fucking idiots, Mad TV blows. -

1. U.S. Title Match: The Rock pinned Batista in 8:02 to retain the title. Special referee The Hurricane intercepted a chair that Triple H threw into the ring, The Rock snatched it, cracked Batista, and delivered The Rock Bottom. Postmatch, Triple H threw Hurricane fro the ring and helped Batista pummel the U.S. champ. Hurricane is now free from being the reluctant member of Evolution. 2. Ric Flair defeated A-Train by disqualification when Edge interfered at 2:12. Postmatch, Chris Benoit came to the ring, seemingly to watch Flair get pummeled, but turned face by attacking Edge, as Flair cleared A-Train out of the ring. Flair and Benoit shook hands afterwards, and seemingly were on the same page. 3. John Cena defeated Sean O'Haire with the F-U in 4:34. Decent stuff, O'Haire's debut was kind of bland, and he played heel. Cena's gaining more and more fan support. -Chris Jericho cut a promo, promising to make Undertaker look like "an undead assclown" later in the evening. 4. Hour #1 Main Event: Brock Lesnar pinned Shawn Michaels in 15:10 after an F-5. Very good bout which picked up in the middle. Michaels was pusted up hardway, and Lesnar used a variety of sneaky tactics. -Backstage, AJ Styles asked Christopher Daniels about getting a title shot at his friend's belt. Daniels looked reluctant, as Eric Bischoff entered and said next week we'd determine a challenger for the belt at the Rumble. Christian entered the room, and said that was a great idea, since he'd need 2 weeks to prepare after he wins tonight. 5. Cruiserweight Title Bout: Christopher Daniels pinned Christian with a roll-up in 10:10 in an excting TV bout. -Backstage, Batista demanded another shot at The Rock at the Royal Rumble. Bischoff said that next week, Batista would face The Hurricane, with the winner getting the Rumble title shot. 6. TV Title Bout: Randy Orton and The Big Show fought to a no-contest when John Cena interfered at 3:57. Show gained the upper hand and chokeslammed both men, however, and dropped the title belt on Orton. 7. Kane pinned Booker T in 7:10 with a tombstone piledriver. The undefeated Kane looks to be one of the favorites heading into the Rumble match. 8. Elimination Match: World Champion Bill Goldberg, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam defeated Triple H, The Undertaker, Tajiri and Chris Benoit in 22:15. Eliminations were: -RVD pinned Tajiri with the five-star frog splash. -Triple H pinned RVD with the pedigree. -The Undertaker pinned Mysterio with a chokeslam. -The Undertaker and Jericho were both counted out. -Bill Goldberg pinned Triple H with a spear, after HHH and Benoit got into an argument. Benoit low-blowed The Game to a pop, and he walked into the spear. -Bill Goldberg pinned Chris Benoit after Evolution jumped him at ringside. -Postmatch, Brock Lesnar attacked Goldberg, and Orton & Triple H worked over Benoit, until Flair ran to save him. ROYAL RUMBLE LINEUP (thus far...)(early January) -WWE World Title Match: Bill Goldberg © Vs. Brock Lesnar -WWE U.S. Title Match: The Rock Vs. Batista or The Hurricane -WWE TV Title Match: Randy Orton © Vs. John Cena -The 2004 Royal Rumble match (Winner gets World Title shot at WrestleMania XX) There are 2 matches still to be added. A blockbuster upper card match is rumored, as well as Christopher Daniels defending the title. -

No Mercy. The storylines change/progress with my match results. The backstage/interview stuff if all my creation. No EWR. Check out the shows I did, lemme know how ya like them. -
You mean battle royal?

Booker T rumored to be the Raw Champ after WrestleMania. Haha.

I sure think it'd be cool if Scotty 2 Hotty and Shannon Moore did the boy band gimmick and feuded with a young face team, like London & Spanky. We'd like that. Instead, "IT'S THE BIG KEESH! STINKYFACE ON DOUG BASHAM! HAHA! YOU'LL ONLY FIND THIS ON SMACKDOWN!" "IT'S THE WORM! WOW, WHAT A GREAT MOVE! OH NO, THE BASHAMS SWITCHED, ILLEGALLY...1.2.3. THEY WIN AND RETAIN THE WWE Tag Titles! DAMNIT!"

The Shane McMahon Vs. Kane Survivor Series match did not have camera "glitches". The backstage segment with them fighting was pre-taped. Thus, WWE intentionally put the "static, blackout" "we've lost the camera man!" stuff in. Note it happens exactly when they go backstage, and exactly when they appear fighting right in front of the curtain on the way out to the arena. My funny moment... Storm & Venis picking up the "good, Mormon girls" backstage and assuring them they're in good company...when Hurricane/Rosey run past them in pursuit of the midget in the famous "Capture the Midget" match. I liked it.

As one of the biggest fans of the two Coreys, I sure hope you aren't badmouthing them. Ric Flair's one of the greatest talents ever to wrestle...duh. But, uh, NEStory has a point, he is a piece of shit. Ask Foley, Austin, etc. Or at least he was, when trying to keep NWA/WCW afloat. Not really fair to bash Sting since we've never seen how WWE would market him. But he's one of the most excting talents to ever step in the ring. Over the hill, though. John Cena isn't THAT over, don't kid yourself. The Smackdown fans just have no one else to cheer but a decent guy with a stupid gimmick.

Buy WWE Bad Blood 2003 and then hang yourself for thinking about buying an "Angel" DVD set.

Well to be fair, this is a "fan-selected" Marathon. CC.com laid out little highlights of every episode up til '01 and had people vote, so it looks legit with all the work they put onto the site. Today I saw some classic X-Presidents stuff, the Tracy Morgan "Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier" thing, the REAL Pesci & DeNiro attack the "Joe Pesci show" so I'm happy. I'd like to see a classic episode or two...stuff like "Jeopardy 2000" or Buckwheat, Gumbi, etc. from the 70's. Mostly mid-90's stuff here. GOD that Norm McDonald as Letterman stuff sucked. "Eh, Got any gum?" LAME. There's lots of little good skits in this 90's ones, tho. -
Just use a scratch-remover for the disk rather than buying a new Madden, or get a professional to replace the plastic casing.

Well, I'll be picking up Mania 19 tomorrow, I suppose. Is it boring? The sound/graphics look pretty great...will it keep me busy?

barron, it's the best we can get, what with no SNL show DVD sets coming anytime soon that'll be unedited. They usually air the best stuff, anyway. My God...#37-36 are hosted by Downey Jr. and now JON LOVITZ. Yuck. Mena Suvari was pretty good, but the skits were pretty lame. Anniston did a cool "Sex in the City" thing where she took home Mr. Peepers from a night club. -
SEXUAL HARASSMENT PANDA. Sorry, just wanted to type that. Got season 3 today. Oh, yea...crippled people are extremely jealous of other crippled people, and must fight.
-
So far I've found the one on now, #36 to be pretty damn funny. Robert Downey Jr. hosts, and the real-life Bob Dole confronts Norm McDonalds (in Dole gettup) and real-life Evander Holyfield in a segment. Also, from #47...Weekend Update 1995 Norm: "Research has shown that SLEEPY TRUCKERS are responsible for nearly 1,000 deaths each year. Coming in second place was O.J. SIMPSON, with 2 deaths per year." Post which ones ya've gotten a kick outta!

A question: as someone who is SO used to the No Mercy-style and controls...which new game would I best like? I do NOT want a game with the awful WWF Warzone/WWF Attitude controls. (Multi-button combos and such)
-
Having not played HCTP, I feel obliged to at least defend No Mercy, and point out some flaws. It gives you a pretty huge battery space for saving CAWs, 4 per character, actually. No lucha masks, tho...ugh. The best you can do is create Mysterio in a white outfit, give him the white Aki-Man mask, and give him white hair. It looks pretty good. Inability to edit the established characters moves & entrances. I've got Test, etc. looking exactly like they do now...yet, Test still comes to the ring with Trish Stratus. Sigh. Whoever complained that HCTP doesn't give the jobbers/cruisers a fair shake against the big-guys...well...isn't that pretty realistic? No Mercy easily outshined Revenge. C'mon, the "tap up on analog stick" thing is just pathetic. The different moves each CAW can be given is pretty neat. You can easily make most people with a little effort. Great game. Any knocks on it are just b/c of the new technologies that have came out since it's release.
-
She was also on the earlier years of Baywatch. That show actually had a few neat episodes/concepts.

What other stereotypes have been obtained...? Lately, we've had: Canadians are a divided people, some dancing around like idiots in the street, with mimes begging for wine, stupid mounties on horses, flapping heads, beady eyes, and no control over government... Wait that one is pretty much true. Mormons are "dum, dum, dum, dum, dum"... hehe

Dear RVDMARK420, We don't need more ridiculous lists like this posted every 3 months by people like you who seemingly cream their pants at attempts to post them. By posting this, I take it you're trying to "show up" mark magazines like PWI. That's very hard. Here, let me try. I'm going to rank 2 wrestlers: 1. Japanese worker 2. A U.S. worker we KNOW sucks, already This bullshit list, for reasons already noted by the aggrivated posters, should be in the "fantasy" folders because any attempt by you to get us to take the British publication seriously is indeed, a fantasy. Your delight at the inclusion of independent wrestlers is also a joke, with placing them either 1) too high (Samoa Joe over Jericho? Buwahahaha...Jericho's been the top American RAW draw and wrestler all year...or 2)Silly and low, as the Danielson-lovers indicated. Taker? The handling of foreign stars is equally as laughable. So please, end your homosexual remarks like "Shut up, silly!" when people tell you to move your shitty list and go compile a list of other lists that are just as bad as this one. Thank you.

Been fun, folks, off to Futurama!
-
Haha, they pretended like Goldberg's title reign never happened.
-
Defense A: Bret was never WCW World Champ during The Rock's title reigns. Defense B: Russo's idea? Really, or is that your opinion. Also, I just watched SSeries 2003 clips...Russo didn't book that.
