  1. Updated to "Smackdown! Sprint Part 2"
  2. "If the Colts score 31 points on the Ravens defense (all points on the defense, not counting Colts possible defensive scores, win or lose) then I'll quit TSM for good and you'll never see me again." Fuck that, 31 and you're gone. You made such a big-time defensive argument that you just had to have a loophole. 31 is 31. 31 means "Seeya later!" big shot.
  3. Thanks God those two shitty announcers aren't going to wreck the Eagles game again. Between 5,000 shots of Shockey on the sidelines and Joe Buck sucking off Tiki, it was awful. "WILL THEY BENCH REX, OMG!" (not likely, Bears will blow Seahawks out)
  4. Changed my picks, no way is Baltimore winning. Their defense isn't good enough to win a SB, their run game will be swallowed up, and their QB isn't as good as Peyton, so I go Colts 31, Ravens 20. COLTS EAGLES BEARS CHARGERS
  5. Looks like a dude, perfect for WWE. "The funny thing is Vince has no idea that Punk's catchphrase when he first came into ROH as a heel was "Straight edge means I'm better than you!". " Why would Vince care about an ROH angle? He's in the business of making money, not watching indies. Punk in WWE is 100% different than his ROH character.
  6. Did you get permission to use that music?
  7. We're getting five or six ***** matches, so it's a must buy, but personally I would've replaced the **** 1/2 Survivor Series tag for the **** 3/4 DX Squashes Haas, Viscera, Cade, & Murdoch handicap match from Raw. Still, a must buy and hopefully they put the rest of DX's new classics like "HHH tears his Quad (redux)", "Orton wears a really gay blue shirt", and Michaels Vs. Rated RKO (**** 1/2 easily for sure) on the next DVD.
  8. I marked for Foley & Snow's Pattycake Elbow. I was there for their tag title win, what an atrocious match that Foley himself shat on in his 2nd book.
  9. After Lesnar walked out on WWE following Taker putting him over in Hell in a Cell and the '03 Rumble, I can safely bet that the last thing Taker wants is to drop his streak to another guy who will probaby be out of the business in 2 years. Orton or Edge will not win. Edge is a great heel and keeps Orton out of shitty PPV matches by osmosis, so no splitting that up. Finlay isn't over enough with the mainstream crowds. Just workrate fans. King Booker had his run. Booker/Batista at 23 would be worse than Triple H/Batista at 21. Umaga and Kennedy won't be in it. Test and RVD will likely be in a 3-way. (Wow, 3 "World" title matches on one PPV...?) Matt and Jeff are nowhere near title contenders, though both are working GREAT matches lately, they'll settle issues w/ MNM at Mania/No Way Out. Benoit isn't a World Title draw, he had his run. Punk and Carlito are stuck in such great feuds with...Holly and Masters. Leaving: Michaels Taker It'll probably come down to those two, Edge, Orton, and Finlay. Is it going to be 10 each from ECW/Raw/Smackdown? That would SUCK. A LOT of jobber/deadweight material if that's the case. "Here comes Kevin Thorn!"
  10. That would require Kennedy to bully someone out of their number, and only Angle is crazy enough to bully someone out of their number. Plus, with ECW being involved, the chance of a "tiny weakling" entering the Rumble is significantly lower this year. Kennedy is eating Batista Bomb.
  11. The DBZ game is awesome.
  12. I for one am happy that ESPN got it right for once, as Tom Brady is the best NFL QB since Joe Montana.
  13. Shawn's video is on his "From the Vault" DVD. So I guess I'm a God. "Clocks" is such a lame song for an ass-kicking machine like Kurt Angle. But then again babyface Kurt Angle was lame so the song was fitting.
  14. I just watched Kane's "See No Evil" for the first time and really liked it. Better than average horror flick with a cast that wasn't super annoying like most so-called horror flicks in the 90's/00's, some GREAT gore scenes, excellent pacing, and a couple of "Oh Shit!" moments. From the DVD extras you can tell the director is a big horror fan and deliberately put some great touches on some scenes. Not a perfect film, but had some really neat parts, again, GREAT pacing once they get to the hotel, Kane was awesome in it (and Kane the wrestler bores me to tears), so good job WWE Films. Plus the lead cop's name is "Frank Williams".
  15. Jeremy Shockey reportedly told one of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, I forget which player, that he'd "love to play in Philadelphia one day". - 610 WIP News While Shockey's locked in NY 'til forever, I agree, Shockey definately would fit in a lot better with the Eagles than on the Giants.
  16. "The one single game that puts PS3 ahead of the other next gen systems. The greatest fighting game ever made." Wii fans laugh at PS players and their "button pushing" fighting games. Kids.
  17. If Hulk leads an army to Earth and kills several major heroes, including one of the Illuminati, I'd be very happy.
  18. I'm watching Great American Bash 1989 (regarded as the best NWA/WCW event ever, btw, get it!)... Dynamic Dudes Vs. Skyscrapers Crowd, as usual, is shitting on Shane & Johnny. Sid's doing his cocky "on one knee" gesture with both his hands asking the crowd to bring the noise. They go crazy for the young Sid. Is it because they hate the Dudes (see heel Freebirds, Havoc '89, probably the loudest pop ever for a heel win)... Sid tags in Danny Spivey. Crowd lets out a HUGE "BOOOOOOOOOO...." followed by "WE WANT SID! WE WANT SID!" I have NEVER heard a crowd react so negatively to the "less popular" partner being tagged in. Spivey hits some moves and they just sit there, pleading for Sid to be tagged in. BTW, Sid and Spivey also dominate the 2-ring "Triple Crown Battle Royal" that starts off this show. 19 battle royals were held. 14 winners (some won more than one) met in a two-ring, throw-the-guy to ring 2, then to the floor style match. Sid wins Ring #1, last eliminating Brian Pillman. Spivey wins Ring #2, last eliminating Steve Williams. Manager Teddy Long (WITH HAIR!) decides they'll split the prize money. TON of talent in the ring for it. In all there was: Sid Vicious, Dan Spivey, Steve Williams, Terry Gordy, Scott Hall, Ranger Ross, Ron Simmons, Mike Rotunda, Kevin Sullivan, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, Bill Irwin, Brian Pillman, and Eddie Gilbert. (Which leads one to wonder...How the hell did Ranger Ross and Bill Irwin, as well as the young jobbers Scott Hall and Ron Simmons, win a battle royal on the Bash tour?)
  19. Stat Boy sucks off whoever gets the most points between that and his worthless PTI appearence.
  20. The WWE Bling Bling Belt is beautiful while the X Division looked like a toy made out of rusted copper.
  21. I remember London led Feb-Aug of '05, if I'm not mistaken.
  22. Andy Reid confirmed Monday that the Eagles will be without Pro Bowl cornerback Lito Sheppard when the team travels to New Orleans to face the Saints in the NFC Divisional round. Sheppard dislocated his elbow Sunday and will be replaced by nickel corner Rod Hood. - Eagles site NOT GOOD Also, this is Stallworth's first game against his former team. He missed the one earlier in the season.
  23. "That got TNA some positive mainstream attention." Made no ratings impact whatsoever and aggitated TNA marks. Plus, AJ Piercizski and his little shitty X Division Title looked so bush league standing next to John Cena and his ultra awesome WWE Title on the ESPN show. "Impact" for best wrestling show?!?!?!?
