  1. I like McMullen as well, but once he dropped that first pass thrown to him (that wasn't even a good pass) he was done in Philly. He falls under the Brian Finneran precident. If you are a rookie you don't get even one fuck up.
  2. I saw that rumor floating around somewhere, I think it was the 2nd plus Billy McMullen. I would be thrilled with that deal as McMullen is never going to get a chance in Philly after getting in Reid's doghouse and it is a low 2nd rounder.
  3. Bruins aquire Michael Nylander for 2nd round pick in 2006 and future cons. The Caps have the potential for some insane drafts in the next few years.
  4. I wonder if anyone had the brass ones to put a different answer.

  6. It isn't D, dummy. Obviously it is a trick question, because the right answer isn't on there. If a field goal is 2 points, then a 3-pt field goal is worth three field goals, so 2 x 3 = 7. And 7 is not an option.
  7. I see no reason to change it. Looking at this in the whole "real team" concept, 1250 IP makes sense. Look at the Cubs staff from last year, the starting pitchers and the top two relievers combined for 1168.2 IP and they had four 200 IP. I seriously doubt anyone in this league will have 4 pitchers who go to 200 IP considering there were only 22 in the AL who did it last year. But even if you have a staff on par with the Cubs you still have 80 IP to add in an extra reliever who ride an extra starter on a month long hot streak.
  8. If I were the Raiders I might consider trading down for Phillip Rivers, but that entails a bit of risk since he is starting to move up a lot of draft boards. But if you could get an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder it might be worth it.
  9. With the no.2 pick in the 2nd round they should be able to get a very good WR as there are about 8-10 legit WR prospects.
  10. Redskins signed Cornelius Griffin and have apparently reached an agreement with Shawn Springs cnnsi.com
  11. Next up on the Raiders old-timer checklist....Troy Vincent. Do the Raiders even have cap room or are they old and cap strapped?
  12. I had LeCroy ranked highly because I liked his catcher eligibility, but with Pudge drafted he lost a lot of value. I think Phelps is ready to explode on the league. I actually had LeCroy next up on my list when your autobastard took him. Worked out well though that I essentially got him in the 15th round instead.
  13. His health is certainly an issue but they need to take a chance at some point. BTW, they had 7.5 sacks this year from DE (5.5 from Kalu, 2 from Whiting).
  14. And they really needed to add pass rush to help out Sheldon Brown and Lito Sheppard.
  15. The Eagles had ZERO pass rush last year. Their leading DE in sacks I think was ND Kalu with around 3 sacks. I will hold off judgement of this signing until the rest plays out. If they still have the cash to fill the other holes with quality then I really like this signing.
  16. Where did you see that BPS?
  17. ::head explodes::
  18. But in reading your quote, my post would be read. Interesting dilemma.
  19. It isn't two passengers who board the ship. It is two passengers on board the ship. So it could still be River and Simon. I wonder if we will finally get to see some Reavers. They have to have at least one scene with them. BTW, I found out a fun fact last night. I was talking to a friend online out in LA and mentioned to him that Firefly had taken over the spot as my new favorite show. Then he says that the place he works at manages Joss. That was pretty cool
  20. Didn't we have a whole Jericho/Trish Dawson's Creek flow chart thread? Or was that for Matt/Lita?
  21. I think the K.C. Chiefs were media darlings for most of the year. The national media wanted to think that they had finally had their defense turned around, when in reality they just got in a turnover run for the first half of the year making them look good. Once they stopped getting turnovers you saw what their D was really like.
  22. Yes the media hated OU. Everytime they came up for air while sucking off the Sooners they blasted them. Seriously, they were putting OU in the pantheon of all time greats. I don't see how you could say they were hated.
  23. I am happy with my team. Swiping Phelps late allowed me to address my biggest concern (Catcher, thank you Yahoo for giving al two catchers) and that leaves my biggest lineup hole as Bobby Crosby. If he is my Pokey Reese I can live with that. In Vazquez I have an ace for my rotation, I see no reason Kim can't be an elite level pitcher, and if Affeldt stays healthy he should produce for me. Throw in one closer and one possible closer and I have saves covered. #4-#5 SPs concern me, but they are going to be a concern for most teams. Plus, I picked up Duchscherer to stash until midseason. I am disappointed that I threw away my last round pick thinking I had noone left I wanted, but hopefully my waiver request resolves that problem. But I doubt I will get him.
  24. I am really happy with my team now that I got a catcher. I like that there are only 24 people left that qualify as a SP.
  25. If you would rather do that I am up for it
