That's idiotic. After how bad Gigli bombed, the last thing the studios should do is set it up for a bad opening week. Then you will get a full week of Jersey Girl bomb jokes, sabotaging the wider release weekends.

And how the fuck did you not know it is next month? You posted the poster in the one Brock Lesnar thread. -

At least Bushido is airing all 11 matches for $20 as opposed to UFC's 5 or 6 at most for $30. But I agree the delay is what puts it behind the list after UFC47. GP is April 25th - first round. -
Boxofficemojo only predicts Jersey Girl getting approx. 1500 screens. I really can't see it making that much money on the limited amount of screens.

Reminder: Pride Bushido 2 airs tonight. With UFC 47 and Pride GP next month, I am going to pass on this one for the sake of my bank account. -
::glares at Hunter for getting in the way of signing Ghandi::

Easily. That is one of the reasons it was a great place. Visiting teams literally feared for their careers just stepping out on the field.

Raiders sign Warren Sapp 7 yrs/ $36 mil with a $7 mil signing bonus?!? The market has been dead for him, the reported offer he was getting was 4yr/16 mil, and he has been declining as a player the last few years. Throw in the fact that the Raiders, who were ancient going into the offseason, have now added Ted Washington and Warren Sapp. Wow, just wow

I think all of the major stations (CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox) are covering it. As well as Comcast, who I think is having a two hour Vet retrospective afterward.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense that the agent did not get the paper work in. February 24th was the deadline for team's to franchise a player. As long as TO was still under contract on Feb. 24th I would imagine the 49ers could not franchise him. So why get the paperwork in early and even face the remotest chance that he would get franchised if you have until March?
-
Wasn't there a remote possibilty that if the Niners came to agreements with Plummer and Peterson, they would franchise TO? The 49ers ended up franchising Julian Peterson on 2/23. Maybe the agent wanted to make sure that Owens was not going to get franchised before worrying about filing the paperwork.
-
"Philly is shaky enough with their fans?" What does this mean? Trust me, the philly mentality right now is "Can he catch a football? If he can, I don't care if he eats babies and pushes old ladies." And I believe Andy Reid would deal with any TO problems in a heartbeat. He isn't going to be allowed to pull the shit he did in SF.
-
How have they fucked themselves? They got Terrell Owens (at worst a top 5 WR) for: - Brandon Whiting (he would be lucky to make the team this year) - 5th round pick (oh no, don't break the bank like that) - and for about 1/2 as much as he would have cost on the open market ($10 mil bonus is nothing) By no stretch of the imagination am I a real fan of TO. But to say anything other than the Eagles made out like bandits is just silly. I wish I would fuck myself as much as they have done this offseason, getting the premiere playmaker on each side of the ball that was available.
-
I don't get this. I don't see it as whiny TO gets what he wants. Paint me as a biased Eagles fan if you want, but the way SF came out of that meeting yesterday and scrambled to get the same piss poor package they turned down a couple weeks ago leads me to believe TO had a strong case.
-
Owens to the Eagles, Brandon Whiting to the 49ers, and a 5th round pick to the Ravens

The only extras they have are highlights and a history of Pride segment. Around 16 or 17 they started to put in a fighter photo gallery, but nothing worth buying the DVD for if you didn't want the event. -

Yeah, I got Championship Chaos. As you said great show top to bottom, save for the Gracie/Ohara abortion. I am surprised they did not include CroCop/Takada on the DVD since they included the unaired fights on the Cold Fury DVD. -

RRR, are any of the Prides 1-8 worth picking up outside of 2 (Sak/White) and 3 (Sak/Newton)? Is Igor/Bueno from Pride 8 the one they always use in the Igor highlight video, that alone might be worth 10 bucks? I picked up Cold Fury 2 over the weekend as well. Igor/Overreem was a fun match with an out of nowhere finish, a Ninja/Andrade (I am enjoying watching the first few Ninja matches, he is always moving forward), and a Takayama match (I just mark out seeing the ugliest person in the world). -
Teams obviously ranked in relation to the league, not each other. 1. Mixed League - Love my lineup with a pitching staff that has a very high ceiling 2. AL - Again I like my lineup a lot and a staff ace in Vazquez 3. Head to head - Couple questions in the lineup in Roberts, Burrell and Phelps, high ceiling pitching staff again 4. NL - Worst pitching staff of my four, like the lineup, high potential, but also a lot of questions. Johnson, Wilson, and Bay haven't shown anything through a whole year yet.
-
I'll be keeping two.
-
Well, if the first episode is a sign of things to come I'll be picking up the DVD next year when they release the 7 aired episodes along with the 6-8 eps they decide not to air. William Sadler's 30 seconds were gold. I think we will find out the mother knew about the sister, hence why she seems nicer to Jaye than you would think (trying to "salvage" one of the two?).
-
Puh-leaze. You shall all bow to the greatness that is Oliver Perez.
-
I like my offense again. I have enough OBP to cover Preston Wilson and Mike Lowell in that area, but I can't live with Gonzalez if he throws a sub-.300 up there again. :glances at rotation: :decides to keep walking by rotation:
-
I can't help you there then.

It will say in a yellow box, the league is now drafting. "The league is now drafting" is the link to the draft.
