What was the deal with Pride 9? I saw some people over a Sherdog completely ripping that event as well. Did they not book good fights or just have decent fighters having bad fights?

Collision Course is Pride 13. I went looking for the one last week, but it was gone by then. I figured I might as well pick up Sak/Silva part 1 since I have parts 2 and 3. The other events that are on DVD with a name instead of a number match up like this: 9 New Blood 10 Return of the Warrios 11 Battle of the Rising Sun 12 Cold Fury 13 Collision Course 14 Clash of the Titans 15 Raging Rumble 16 Beasts from the East 17 Championship Chaos 18 Cold Fury 2 19 Bad Blood The only ones that haven't been covered that I have are 2,3, and 16. 2 and 3 are both one fight cards, along with an interesting side show on each card (Cikatic/Kerr on 2 and Takase/Yarborough on 3) And I liked 16 as Nog/Coleman and Ninja/Matsui were good along with a Frye/Yvel sideshow.

I am a big fan of his. I love the way he will pull ridiculous references out of nowhere (that is what my friends and I do) and I like the way he seems to be an actual fan of his team. He knows his stuff, so his fandom doesn't get in the way too much. Plus it is an entertaining read, most importantly.

Season 2 comes out March 16th.

I would have said Veronica in a romp, but not after seeing the Gauntlet to the Inferno preview. Either she got hit in the face with a frying pan after the Inferno ended or she just hit the wall. I'd call it a push with neither of them doing much for me.

This season is starting to let me down a little. I don't give a flying fuck about Chloe and/or anything related to her, I still want Kim to die, I don't care about the president's brother sleeping around, and I don't see why we are supposed to care about Millikin getting his since I don't see him as a bad guy (wow, a lobbyist wants someone who nailed his wife off the president's staff. I wouldn't lock in the Bengals yet, a few more people who participated last year might want to chime in on that one.

The Flyers might actually have to make a goalie trade that we have needed for years now. As Esche got hurt last night and Hackett is still suffering from vertigo. They are just waiting on Esche's MRI results at this point to see how long he will be out. Any extended period and they'll have to do something.

If the Eagles could get Clayton at their pick I would do a happy dance. Of course it is likely that there is going to be at least one receciver at that pick that would satisfy me since there are about 7 of them.

Lets look at a little more than points and boards Kirilenko 16.3 pts 7.9 boards 3.3 assists 44 3pts 2.07 steals 2.8 blocks Randolph 21.5 points 11.0 boards 2.3 assists 0 3pts .83 steals .5 blocks I wouldn't complain if Randolph went over Kirilenko. A case could be made either way, but to throw 21/11 to 16/8 out there with out bringing up the assists, threes, steals and blocks is not right.

if the team intents the ball to go out of bounds, it should be where the ball first goes out of bounds. I disagree with that. It isn't like a punt where the punter is under pressure making it a big skill to get a coffin corner kick. The kicker has no rush, no one in his face, and no time constraints hurrying him up. So if you gave every kicker in the league a chance to kick it out of bounds, they could all kick it out behind the 15 at worst.

You know what amused me from last year's draft. In the third round, I gave the Panthers......Ricky Manning Jr. I feel like I jinxed my Eagles.

I look at it this way. A normal return will put the ball between the 25-30 yard line. So your punishment for punting it out of bounds is really a 10-15 yard penalty. I think that is fair. Edit: This is why I like the rule as is, because it assumes a normal return plus 10-15 yard penalty.

I think it would be fair to have anyone who did it last year, have first crack at their 1 main team (since many were drafting for mulitiple teams). I call Eagles. (just in case)
