I am just scared of picking the Ravens given if their opponents can put up a TD it becomes worrisome. Plus I had to pick Philly at some point and against the Jets is as good a time as any.

I wouldn't be shocked if that is it for Boulerice. I would be surprised if they can hold a roster spot for him with trying to whittle down Downie's games, having to bring back Upshall before long, and the fact he really isn't good enough (at playing or fighting) to deserve it. And would any team really want a 29 year old FA mediocre fighter that would be a dead roster spot for two months.

But how often are any lines above 40? Even powers against the Temples of D1 usually don't break 40, so I doubt playing against the best DII team it would be any worse than a Temple. I am not saying I agree with the idea. I just think that a case can be made and it not be the stupidest idea ever.

Haven't they said that the Stanford-USC was actually the biggest upset going by the betting lines. I believe they were either +41 or +39, which apparently is the biggest underdog to win. So you could make the arguement for it. And trust me, backing Skip Bayless is below shooting myself in the face for things I would want to do.

I can't believe that little rat Briere is making me like him. He is playing like Forsberg in those two or three weeks that he was healthy as a Flyer. The first unit PP with Richards and Timmonen on the point has been incredible so far.

I don't get it. It looks like Green is completely in front of him there (Johnson's hips look squared up to Green IMO), so he is well within his rights to go low for the block. Could he have been further in front? Sure. But in front is in front. Johnson needs to man up for not having his head on a swivel.

Sadly, the Phillies being successful would shake things up more than the D'Backs.

To be fair, who else was there to use? Condrey? Six Finger McGee? After using the big three yesterday, I doubt any were available for a two inning stint.

It solidified my opinion on Andy Reid too. The guy's an idiot. When you let your QB get sacked 12 times, you as a coach aren't doing something right. That's not even their biggest concern though, when you give up 12 sacks to a team that came into the game with 4...let's just say those linemen have a lot of running to do at practice. His strong point has never been in game adjustments, but last night was honestly the worst coached game I have ever seen this team have. At this point you just have to assume he is way too stubborn to ever deviate from his own gameplan, no matter what the defense shows you.

Whoever thought to put all of the games on one station should be shot. 3pm for both weekday games (this Wed. and Thurs.) for the Phillies?!? I get one game was going to be during the day, but why fuck over the Philly fans both days. Guess I'll take a half day to watch Game 1 but have to just follow the second game online.

One question I do have though, is are we going to put a limit on how many times you can keep the same player (i.e. if you have a rookie who goes on to All star status, do you get him for a 20th forever)? I think we should put an at most, 3 year term per keeper (not including people brought from last season since it would be a mid-franchise change). Going forward I think a 3 year limit would be fair, you get the benefit of a smart move but don't get to ride it for eternity.

Al is just screwing around. He should know considering how hard it is for many fans to spell out the 6 letters of Eagles in unison, there is no chance of a Phillies chant in unison.

By the sounds at the ends of the Mets game, I think Jose Reyes is public enemy number one in NY right now.
