Between two episodes ago and last episode apparently. They opened last ep in the new place bought with the Clouds advance. I hope E turns out to be right about Walsh. I think it will be a lot more interesting if Medellin is a dud as opposed to everything coming up roses for Vince again moving right into another huge movie with Walsh next season. Either that or they have to get rid of E entirely since he will not be up to snuff as a manager and would just make Vince look foolish (which he clearly isn't) for keeping him.

PMs have been sent for the 8/27 draft. League setting were copied from last year's league (kudos to Yahoo for that feature). So no bitchin.

I figured we could get the draft date set before setting it up, instead of setting it up with the 27th then me forgetting to change the draft time if the day didn't work. If there are no objections through tomorrow I'll set it up tomorrow night.

Um...I have you as being in the one currently leaning toward the 27th to draft

Anyone else see the fantasy draft from a league of a group of NFL players on various FSN/CSN affiliates? I got through the first round and couldn't do stand anymore. It was a group of 8 players, the 5th pick took Tom Brady, the 8th pick took Drew Brees. It was almost as bad as the ESPN fantasy show a couple years ago where the one chick took Brett Favre in the second round because he looked like he was having fun.

Thank god for Vladdy going apeshit and my opponents pitchers having the worst week ever. Up 8-2 with 9 runs, 6 HRs and 8 RBIs on the bench between Doumit, Fields and Berkman.

Probably not, but with the success of Kyle Kendrick why not give Maloney a shot at the job. My problem is that you give up a legitimate prospect (not A list, but a guy performing well in AA) for a guy who throughout his career has been a mediocre player. Why give up anything for that caliber of performance? Let Brian Mazone come up and be mediocre.

What is out there that can really help though? Sure there was Teixeira (Phils are kind of covered at 1st base), but after that then who is available. Do you want to give up Carrasco for Garland or Lidge? Then you have a system completely barren of A-list talent. I just don't get the point of bringing in Lohse. I like the one guy on DNL saying "I looked at Lohse and he has been good in the past". Really?

Surprised you managed to get Alexander that late. If he is healthy you should be pretty dominant with 2 legit #1 fantasy WRs (Driver is low end #1, but still a 1) and two #1 fantasy RBs. Like McMichael that late. Not a Big Ben fan, but with the ammo you got in the first four rounds, something is obviously going to give. What QBs were still around in the round 5-6 area? If McNabb or Bulger were still kicking around they would have been a great compliment to the top 4, if not then there would really be no damage in waiting and getting Ben. Question: PPR league, no 5 pick (this year's death slot IMO). Assume LT, Jackson, LJ and Gore are the first four picks (If any of these four slipped to 5 they'd be the pick). Who ya got Westy, Addai, Alexander, or other? I am leaning toward Westy because the receptions are huge. I worry about Alexanders health/OLine and Addai's numbers last year being massively inflated by running over the Eagles atrocious run D last year. BTW, when are we planning to start this year's league?

Hughes may have crossed the threshold by being on the roster this whole season basically, even if it was on the DL. I doubt they would bump him that far just due to the injury. If Carrasco gets traded for some stop gap starter I get to punch Gillick in the face right?

Even a shotgun between the eyes (or anything making it quick) would be better than what they were doing. There is only so much Goodell can do though, unless he gets the winkwinknudgenudge from the NFLPA that they won't cause a commotion over this. And still then Vick might be able to follow through with his own lawyers. If the policy says first time offenders (w/o a conviction or a plea) get a slap on the wrist, then what else can he do?

I don't think Goodell does anything for a little while here. Given it is Vick's first offense (granted it is a biggie), I think they wait until getting more facts and/or a conviction/plea. And WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with these guys?!? Instead of just putting down the dogs they didn't want they brutally kill them (drowning, throwing against the ground, wetting down and electrocuting?!?). I have a sick mind, but these guys make me sick.
